I use this as a cleanser. It's very gentle and lathers up really well. Also, it's dirt cheap. I use one full pump of this, lather, gently rub in circular motions for 15 seconds (even over my eyes to take makeup off), and rinse. I then go on to using my acne products from acne.org and my moisturizer (I mix one pump of cetaphil lotion with one pump of cerave lotion to help with my really dry skin). This stuff seriously takes makeup off better than specialized products like the wipes and oils for eye makeup removal. And it's SO gentle, anybody could use it. I always have this stuff around.

My skin responds well to most of the J&J baby washes (all but the lavender), and I go back to them periodically because my skin seems to become sensitive to whatever else I'm using if I keep it up for long. The H to T can be slightly drying, but you can buy the knockoff version of it, and it really makes my skin soft and (yes!) glowing.
It's also a great all-purpose wash for brushes, my pets, and really anything that can use a cleaning (as long as it's not something that is dry-clean only).
I am not happy about the use of quaternium 10 and/or 15 in their products. J&J have announced that they will phase out use of these two chemicals--good.
Head to toe is best for combo or oily skin. Dry skinned individuals might consider the oatmeal or shea butter versions. I like the honey apple as well, but it's getting harder to find. I react badly to the lavender baby wash and lotion, which I bought because of good reviews, along with the fact that it contains no aloe vera (which I am also allergic to).
Head to Toe is great on a budget, multi-use, and does what you need it to do. I'll keep buying J&J baby wash for as long as they make it.
I will give this product a five as soon as they fix the chemical issue. continued >>

I have been battling bad breakouts on my chest and back so i figured i would try something different but this dried me out. I recently went to see a dermatologist and was told to not use the babywash as it contains detergent, who knew??

I really love this product is so versatile and cheap , i was using Purpose cleanser and it only lasted me 2 weeks , when i found out that the J&J head to toe wash was the same as the Purpose but cheaper and had more amount i had to try it , i was first a little hesitated because it doesn't claim to be a face wash even though it does have similar ingredients like the Purpose cleanser it has 4 more ingredients added that the Purpose doesn't have, I researched the 4 ingredients it had and i didn't like the sodium chloride or the sodium hydroxide but they were in lower list of the ingredients , I noticed the purpose cleanser cost more like 8 dollars in my local Walmart and for 6 fl oz , it used to cost 6 dollars ugh so that's how i switched to J&J baby wash i first tried the Equate version ,they work the same but the Equate has more fragrance and the J&J barely has fragrance ,i'm not really sensitive with fragrances but for some reason i like the J&J baby wash better then the equate, i find that this wash is way better then Purpose cleanser it gets rid of makeup very well and it last a long time ,it also doesn't strip the moisture on my skin it keeps it PH balance and it does not break me out which is great ,love this product and recommend it to everyone :) continued >>

Soft as a baby’s bottom :) Who wouldn’t want this? I can’t imagine why anyone would be unhappy with this cheap multitasker. If you can get over the fact it’s a product meant for babies you’ll be extremely satisfied. This really can save you so much money…don’t waste $$ on makeup cleansers, brush cleansers, face cleansers, body wash, shampoo, etc. I use this for absolutely everything! Its wonderful! People laugh at me when I tell them I use this on my face (even my mum who probably used this on me when I was a baby!) Haha I think people are embarrassed because it’s a product meant for a baby but that aint stopping me because it takes off all my makeup (even stubborn waterproof mascara). I like to wash with this at night to get all the makeup off. Then I wash my face an extra time to really get clean. I have acne prone skin and this doesn’t aggravate it at all. Once a week I take this with some olive oil and clean my makeup and clarisionic brushes and this does the job. I also will use this on my body because the smell is quite relaxing. And for the price..you really can do no wrong

I used to use the purpose face wash, also made by Johnson and Johnson. My mom had it to me because it was summertime and it was too gentle for her extremely oily skin. I absolutely loved it, and immediately recognized the scent of this baby wash. Also, while reading the reviews on purpose, I discovered this is just as good for 1/2 the price! So after i ran out of purpose, so I bought this, a 9oz bottle for $2.44 at target-great deal!!! So I've been using this for a few days, morning and night.

Pros:
-gentle
-non drying
-smells great
-removes ponds cold cream+makeup very well
-doesn't sting eyes when I'm washing off makeup and Vaseline in the morning
Cons:
-I really can't think of any!!! :)

I first rub some ponds cold cream on my face to remove face makeup. I don't really use it on my eyes because all I wear is mascara and a bit of eyeliner. The , I wash it all off with a pea size amount of this, comes off cleanly. Then, in the shower, I wash once again to actually cleanse my skin with nothing on it. I will definetily repurchase, and I really can't find a better face wash(:

UPDATE 11/26- eh, im not liking it so much anymore. I find its the slightest bit too gentle, and have since switched back to my Clinique mild face soap. i use this now for removing my vaseline in the morning off my eyes and lashes, since the Clinique stings eyes BADLY, so i do love it for that, and after removing my cold cream when taking off heavy face makeup(:

I adore this for its ability to take off makeup, sunsreen, and whatever else I throw at it. I've been using this for YEARS on myself and my kiddos. My husband has even fallen in love with this stuff and he uses it all over because it doesn't aggravate his acne prone skin. Great makeup brush cleaner, too!

This baby wash is great for removing makeup, shaving and for washing the "lower" lady area. However, it can be drying on the face so follow with a fairly good moisturizer.

edit: The SLS in this and other weird chemicals have made my face sensitive to like everything. If you have sensitive, dry, acne-prone facial skin, dry a different makeup remover if you can.

I was so excited to try this product but unfortunately it disappointed me. However, this product definitely has it good points and I can see why people like it. I NEED my cleansers to remove my makeup and this cleanser does that with ease and it didn't dry out my skin. But when I tried to wash it off I felt like it was really hard to rinse off and there seemed to be some residue. And the worst part was it broke me out and it made my skin super sensitive. It felt almost raw to the touch after using this cleanser for 4-5 weeks. I have never had this kind of reaction to a cleanser so that was a red flag. I have returned to using Dove's Beauty Bar and I love it!
