Uplifting Firming Face Lotion SPF 15
This is awesome! I was laid off recently and have had to fund my beauty product addiction through dept store brands. :-) I have to say - this is really impressive. First, the lotion is like a cream in a bottle. Its thicker than a traditional lotion, but it lighter than a cream. It leaves a very nice sheen to my skin - not silica or mica type shimmer, but a real sheen - like a glow. I got this because summer is around the corner and I don't really like wearing heavy foundations. I also bought the Good SKin illuminating powder and used it on top of this after using my Chanel concealer. So far no breakouts and I'll update should that change. It leaves my skin very soft.
The SPF is 15 but it is mostly titanium dioxide which is an "Inert earth mineral used as a thickening, whitening, lubricating, and sunscreen ingredient in cosmetics. It protects skin from UVA and UVB radiation and is considered to have no risk of skin irritation (Sources: www.photodermatology.com/sunprotection.htm; and Skin Therapy Letter, 1997, volume 2, number 5) - Paula Begouin" I havent experienced the whitish look a previous reviewer had, but perhaps they adjusted the formula, or the reviewer used too much - hard to say. I also tend to breakout from most sunscreens but so far so good with this one.
Overall, I will definitely repurchase should there be no adverse effects in the coming weeks. continued >>

I recently got this and I have to say, I think it is a winner. Usually moisturizers with sunscreen feel really wierd on my skin, but not this. It feels very light. This morning I don't even think I put enough on after two pumps, which is a good thing, because I want to actually utilize the sunscreen that's in it. It also has a great sheen to it that is really subtle but brightening. This may be my HG. I want to try other American Beauty products now! I will update if I think it starts to break out my skin. Also: love the pump, and it does not feel greasy at all.

I'm the first one to review this product! I bought this after trying the Beauty Boost night cream and loving it. They're creams and lotions are full of antioxidants, which is exactly what I was looking for. After not being happy with my Olay Regenerist lotion (too sticky and greasy and not moisturizing enough for winter), I decided to try this. I'm pretty sure I love it, but I've just started using it. I'll update later if I end up not liking it. So far it's great. My skin gets oily during the day, but tends to be dry right after washing. So I bought a more gentle cleanser (Good Skin creamy cleanser for dry skin, also at Kohls) and this cream. The sales lady talked me into it. I was going to try the Youth Full cream, but she said she likes this one better for it's firming effects. I'm only 32, but I could use some firming. Plus, my face tends to be a little puffy in the morning and she promised this would take care of that. So I tried it. It's very moisturizing and non-greasy with SPF! You immediately feel this firming effect. No greasiness or stickiness that sometimes comes with SPF lotions and creams. It really does reduce puffiness! I attribute that to the caffeine, which is good for that. This also comes in lotion form which might be better for oilier skins, but the cream promises to be non-acnegenic, so we'll see! So far I do recommend this product and I will repurchase! UPDATE: I've been using this for over a month now and I still love it! It doesn't break me out at all. I took off one lippie only because when you first put it on it leaves a whitish sheen on your face. That seems to disappear within a matter of minutes, though, so it's really not an issue. I love how it's not sticky or greasy. I will buy more when I run out - maybe I'll try the lotion next time just to see how that is.
