After using more expensive HA, from Diana Yvonne and from PSF (Pure Skin Formulations), I wanted to find a cheaper source. Even factoring in the hefty shipping fees to Australia, this is significantly cheaper, and the product itself seems identical to the others I've tried. It is delivered in large plastic bottles - I then transfer a small amount to a dropper bottle to use. I'm not sure if this is necessary, but I keep the 8 oz bottles in the fridge because I live in a hot climate. The product keeps well. There is a tiny amount of what looks like white sediment in the very bottom of the bottle. I think this is just undissolved HA powder. The sizes listed on the website seem to change according to what's currently in stock, if you don't want to order an enormous amount, wait a bit and there will be other sizes listed. I ordered 2 x 8 oz bottles. When I ordered there was a $25 minimum order. Worth investigating if you want to use HA in your routine or to formulate your own skincare products and not spend a fortune.

For my own use, I mix several drops in the palm of my hand with my oil of choice - usually Rose Hip Oil - and apply to my face. I have very dry skin so I then use a plain moisturiser over the top to seal it all in. I also sometimes add some to moisturiser in the palm of my hand before applying - it thins the moisturiser out slightly so this is good if you have one you find is too thick for you to use. Sometimes when my skin is badly behaved I get a small jar and put in some Cetaphil moisturiser, Rose Hip Oil and HA and mix up my own plain, non-irritating moisturiser to settle my skin down for a few days. There's a lot of hype about HA, for me, HA doesn't perform miracles but it is a humectant and definitely helps hydrate and I need all the hydration assistance I can get.
