Love the packaging and the moisture/softness it gives my hands. I work in an office and I find that paper really drys out my hands/nails so I always need some kind of hand cream nearby. The only thing I don't like is the smell, it's almost too sweet. (like candy). But I do like that it doesn't leave my hands sticky.

This is quite a good hand cream for the office, I would say. At first I had the impression that it doesn´t provide enough moisture, but I was wrong, I´m using it since late autumn now and my hands are fine with it. It soaks in quickly and leaves an absolutely inoffensive, light scent, which is neither too sweet or too perfumey. Nice product.

I wouldn't buy this again because it wasn't moisturizing enough for me. It did sink in immediately though. I also did not like the smell of this product (supposed to be like sour grapes but it smelled like vinegar to me).

This is an excellent hand creme. Penetrates quickly, moisturizes well. The reasons why I won't repurshase are 1st, the smell. I can't put my finger on it but it's just not very pleasant for me. The 2nd, it gives me the exact same results as Clinique's Deep Comfort hand creme wich has no odor. The smell is the reason I gave it a 4 instead of a 5.

This is the Rolls Royce of hand creams (and has the price tag to prove it). I don't have especially dry hands to warrant this purchase, but after testing this at Blue Mercury I couldn't put it away. It is superbly moisturizing yet instantly absorbent without any greasy residue. What's left is a faintly sweet scent that reminds me of hazelnut (I may be the only one making this association), which is surprising considering that all Caudalie products incorporate grapeseeds in one form or another and smell pretty bland. I got three tubes to put on my night stand, my office desk, and in my bag. Bonus point: the material of the tube container allows you to squeeze every last drop.

Another fan. My favourite hand cream except for an obscure Polish brand that was amazing (and that I can't find anywhere). Absorbs well, leaves my hands soft, and the tube lasts a decent amount of time.Only con: a friend tried it and her skin reacted badly. For some people, all Caudalie products seem to be irritating. Fortunately, we're not in that group.

This hand cream provides good moisture, even in cold and windy conditions, and is rather cheap, at least in Europe. However I’m very sceptical regarding the effectiveness on the nails, and I don’t like the tacky texture that never really absorb and creates a thin layer on the skin (probably too much silicone). I’m not too fond of the overpowering smell either, I guess it’s supposed to smell grapes but it reminds me of cheap orange candy.
Even if it costs twice the price I'll stick to Crabtree & Evelyn Hand Therapy products. continued >>

I can't believe I have ignored to write a review about this! I'm at the end of my tube, and will be repurchasing. I've tried all the major pharmaceutical brands of hand cream available in Europe (from Neux which I totally regretted purchasing and Eucerin which is surprisingly mediocre, considering how much I love their body lotion), and this is highly possibly the best. The texture is very light and absorbs quickly. It's extremely easy to massage it into the skin, nevertheless it does moisturize my hands really well. Even after washing my hands with soap a couple of times my hands don't become horribly dry. I'm OK with the fragrance, though I do think with all their other products that smell amazing Caudalie could have done better. The packaging is also great. It's very easy to squeeze the maximum of the product out of the tube compared with all the other hand creams I've tried (and believe me, I've tried my fair share of them). I've gone through a pretty harsh winter with it and it worked really well, and I love the fact that it's paraben free. I do prefer something heavier at nighttime, but will definitely repurchase this for daytime. The price, by the way, is about 8 euros here in Belgium. What's more, it is possible to find it in certain pharmacies with a 20% discount. You don't need a lot of product every time, so it's very good value for money!

Got this 2.5oz tube at Sephora for $19! First off, I didnt buy this to use as a hand cream. I really wanted something to moisturize my brittle nails, and I came to find out this moisturizer does both. It leaves my hands soft and moisturized, and it soaks in quickly. It has a light, kinda fruity scent, that doesnt last long. For "Would you buy this product again?" I put "No" because $19 seems alot for a 2.5 oz. hand cream. HOWEVER, I just starting using this, and if this turns out to help my brittle nails in the long run I will repurchase.
EDIT: I changed the overall raiting to a 3 because I compared this hand cream and Eucerin PLUS Intensive Repair Hand Creme (still my HG!!). Eucerin made my hand NOTICEABLY softer and moisturized, even AFTER washing it off! I wore the Caudalie to bed and I woke up with my hands feeling really dry and parched! I'm still holding out hope this will be a great brittle nail remady, but it is a mediocre hand cream.

Just perfect! I love the smell, it leaves my hands very smooth and moisturized and it absorbs immediately.

My main gripe is also the smell. I find it smells like chewable Flintstone multivitamins from my childhood. (I've never tried fruity pebbles but perhaps they use the same flavourings!)
I don't really don't find the fragrance pleasant, although it does remind me of being 6. I was hoping for something less artificial smelling.
The cream itself is good. It's definitely a day hand cream - it sink in very quickly but still moisturising. But I prefer more emollient hand creams before bed, so this doesn't really work for that.
I won't be buying this again. During the day, I would prefer something with more of a neutral (or no) fragrance. And it's a little too light for bedtime. Oh well!

Perfect. A little goes a long way, smells very clean and unobtrusive (orange essential oil mostly), does not leave hands oily, makes skin soft. Can't ask for more. Keep it at my desk at work.

My chief complaint with this cream is the smell. At first, it smells like Fruity Pebbles. Great, I thought, who doesn't like Fruity Pebbles? However, about 10 minutes later it has a distinctive sour pickle-ish smell to it. I can't stand the idea of my hands smelling bad. The consistency is pretty great. It's very moisturizing, and not greasy at all. This is why I'll continue to use it until it's gone, albeit only around the house. I don't want to look like a weirdo, smelling my pickle fingers in public.

This is just a run-of-the-mill hand cream for me. It sinks in quickly and is non-greasy, and it's very lightly to barely scented, which is a plus. But it's not quite moisturizing enough, so I still prefer my standby hand cream, Eucerin Plus intensive repair hand creme, to get the job done in the wintertime.

I straight-up love this product. Don't even flinch at the $19 for 2.5 oz price- you will not regret the purchase.
I have tried many hand creams, ranging from low-priced to high-priced to everything in between, and this is the only product I've ever found that leaves your hands feeling clean, non-greasy, and non-sticky. My biggest pet peeve with hand creams is that they seem to attract junk from the air like a magnet- Caudalie's Creme Gourmande seems to do the opposite. It's like a repellent for sticky/yucky/fuzzy stuff.
Seriously, I put this on and my hands feel like a child's. You don't have to wait between applying the lotion and touching anything. The smell is light and natural. This cream contains no petroleum byproducts.
My previous favorite hand cream was Clarins' hand and cuticle treatment, but even that was never a five-lippie product for me. This one is the first hand cream to get that honor- it's amazing.

I have lived in Arizona for the past two yrs, and I have been on a mission to find the most effective moisturizers for this weather, and let me tell you, I have tried everything. My search for an hg hand cream ended with this little miracle! I put this on in the morning before I go to work and wash my hands frequently and my hands remain soft and hydrated throughout the day despite the heat and the constant hand washing! It is not greasy at all and is worth every penny!! HG for sure- I also use it on my neck and feet and it has worked miracles!!'

I got this for $9 at sephora. Its good stuff. nongreasy, and has a faint spa olive-y scent. It sinks in well, and definitely better than Loccaitaine's hand cream. Highly recommend it for $9, maybe not for $19.

Caudalie Hand & Nail Cream has worked very well for me. Have only used for one day so far, but the results on my cuticles speak for themselves.
I took off my acrylic nails after years of refills, and have had to go through trying to strengthen the thin, weak nails that were left. My biggest issue was the dry cuticles and more importantly the hangnails that dryness caused. My fingers were just getting to be painful on a daily basis. I've tried several cuticle creams (from Nailtique & Lippman to Sally Hansen) along with having prof. manicures weekly with very little improvement.
After reading reviews on this site, I decided to try Caudalie's cream. Within one application, my cuticles were definitely moisturized and my hands in general felt silky with no greasy after effect- but not as moisturized as my usual Aveda hand lotion. I massaged a good amount as at night treatment and the next morning and all that next day my cuticles remained soft.
Very happy with the results and the 2.5 oz tube was only $19 (much less expensive than Chanel's $56 Hand Cream or Sisley's $100 Handcare which I had also considered, but thankfully didn't have to spend that $$$) continued >>

I have noticed the scent of grapes finally like the others mentioned and it is very pleasant. And while I reach for my Aveda (which has an odd medicine/orangey smell) for baby soft hands and my L'occitane for a heavenly scent late at night, I absolutely adore this for the moisture, as it is something I can rely on. The scent is light and not overpowering like how Neutrogena's butter one can be, so it's perfect for dry summer days. The twenty dollars isn't looking so bad now. I have yet to find an equal and find myself reaching for this the most of all the many handcreams I own, making me question if I will actually repurchase Aveda's hand therapy like I had originally been so sure I would. It's THAT good.

It's a little pricey for hand cream, but it's soooooo worth it! I wash my hands constantly and I need to reapply cream for moisture, it's non greasy and absorbs really well into the skin. I will not use another hand cream again! I love this stuff!!!! Oh and it smells like fresh grapes which I LOVE!!!!!
