First off, I LOVE this product so so much.
Around Decemeber 2010, I was buying presents for friends, I wasn't sure what to buy. I saw their twisted peppermint line and ended up purchasing some of the twisted peppermint anti bacterial hand lotion for my best friend. I never really smelled it but she really liked it. I was at her house one time and I used that lotion I got her for the first time, and I HAD to buy some of the body care products but it wasn't December yet. So I waited and waited, and the first day they brought the line out, I was one of the first people in that store to purchase it. They had a buy 1 get one free, so I ended up leaving with 2 lotions, 3 shower gels and 1 body mist.
The lotion is just amazing. You get that whiff of peppermint and a hint of vanilla. I put it on my legs when I get done shaving and when I first used it, I felt this cool breezy feeling (I know that sounds weird), it feels really nice and leaves my legs soft. The mist is just amazing and it's not overly powerful, which I like. I don't like really really strong perfumes. And I am just about out of my first shower gel. I have a little bit left. I can't wait to buy more this year, if they bring it back.

Smells exactly like a candy cane. Yummy and great to use especially during the christmas/winter months. My fiance likes to use this too. its pretty powering for a lotion, just an application to your hands and you can really smell it on someone.

I love the scent of this lotion. The combination of peppermint, vanilla, and sugar is absolutely wonderful. I usually get really dry skin on the front of my legs,my feet and elbows in the winter, but I used this every night after my shower and my skin stayed moisturized all winter. I probably will buy it when the Holiday Traditions line is re-promoted because it's a once a year thing, and I don't use Bath & Body Works that often. Personally, I think the price is a little steep. $10 for 8 oz? There are definitely better deals out there. But for the best scents (this being included) I'll splurge on Bath & Body Works. continued >>

This smells so wonderful. Every year for Christmas I make a 3 layer red velvet cake with a peppermint cream cheese frosting and that's what this smells like to me.
It's a very well done peppermint.
I gave the packaging a 4 (even though it's standard B&BW packaging) because the bottle feels a bit stiff and it can be tough to get out.
But, if they re-release this in stores this year, I'll stock up so I don't have to order online. continued >>

It's a pretty nice body lotion- although not VERY moisturizing. It has a nice sorta fruity but peppermint smell to it. I didn't quite like the smell initially because it was too sweet, but after that I took a liking to it. However for some reason, this gave me rashes and red spot on my body?! I know it is this body lotion because after I stopped applying it, red spots and rashes are gone and when I used it again, I got rashes and red spots again. ): This lotion gives a very cooling feeling as well, according to some of the reviews I see, they don't like it, but I live in a hot and humid country so I see it as a plus instead. (:

Twisted Peppermint is part of the BBW Christmas seasonals.
I originally had an old lotion that was quite pepperminty, but the
recent products I've sampled seemed to have more of the burnt
vanilla in the base than I could handle. I don't know if the formula
has changed or if different products in the line emphasize different
notes. So I revised my review to a 2.

I LOVE this lotion! One of my all time favorites! It smells just like a candy cane....peppermint swirled with creamy vanilla. The lotion is all right for moisturizing, but I am mostly after the scent anyway since I don't have real dry skin. I bought this for the first time this past Christmas and fell in love with it! I used the entire bottle in one week! LOL So I bought 10 more off of Ebay to last me a while. I also have the splash and 3in1 and both are just as great. The splash doesn't have the same exact smell as the lotion, but is still good. I love this when it is hot outside for a nice tingly cooling sensation. Good to put in the fridge and use on super hot days!! :) Wish they sold it all year long!

Lovely scent. It's Bath and Body Works seasonal scent. They seem to sell out of this one really fast. I absolutely love it. I smells like candy cane or mint chocolate ice cream but in a very pleasant way. And I'm usually not a an of strong smell but since this is minty it is very refreshing. Another big plus about this lotion is that is gives a cool tingly sensation. A little but like Icy Hot. So this would work well on sore muscles. I would definitely buy this again.

I absolutely love the scent of this lotion, however it actually left my skin bone dry. I am used to buying the body cream version of this each year before the holidays, however this year I saw only the lotion. I should have known better because every other time I have ever bought a body lotion from BBW, I have been disappointed. The scent is incredible, but it leaves my skin feeling very uncomfortably dry. So much so that I end up using something else over it to take away the dryness and that kills the scent. What a shame because the scent is truly amazing. I will never understand why a company that is all about bath and body products can't seem to make a decent lotion. All of their lotions are intensely drying. Its never made any sense to me. I'm not looking for body butter quality here however I don't expect it to make me feel dryer than I feel without lotion and oddly enough it does just that. Even the body cream is not particularly moisturizing, but its a heck of a lot better than this which left my skin extremely dry. I even bought the fragrance splash thinking I could just spritz on the scent because I hated the quality of the lotion, but the spray smells nothing like the lotion or the cream (actually kind of gross)! What a shame.

I bought this product last X-mas and really enjoy using it during the holidays. To me, the cooling sensation is what makes this lotion a standout. It moisturizes well enough without being too heavy. The scent, while strong at first, is still pleasant and wears off after a while (Which I like. I don't want to smell like peppermint all day!) My favorite time to wear this lotion is right after I shave and am heading to bed. It does not burn after shaving. I have the 3-in-1 shower gel and really love that, too.

This is the first year I've tried out Twisted Peppermint. I wasn't planning to until B&BW finally decided to release the body lotion and body splash in the Temptations line.

Anyway, this is a fantastic scent. In the bottle, it smells exactly like a candy cane. Once it's on my body, though, I can smell a bit more of the vanilla. It's a great combination: refreshing and sweet, without one overpowering the other. Very Christmasy, very nice. Love it!

The body lotion is of a very good quality, in my opinion. It has the same consistency as other B&BW lotions. It leaves my skin feeling softer while lightly fragrancing it. It's exactly what I expect from B&BW.

The only complaint I have about the body lotion in the Temptations line is the size. It's smaller than I expected it to be, which is kind of disappointing considering that it's a bit pricey. Because of this, I recommend having a coupon handy if you want to get it.

Overall, I'm impressed with Twisted Peppermint in the Temptations line, but I hope that B&BW re-releases it in their regular Holiday fragrances next year. I want this scent in a hand lotion and a body cream! continued >>

such a good lotion! i have tons of lotions and this is definitely one of the top ones. i got it about 2 years ago and i'm still not done! it smells so yummy and i love how it cools when you put it on. i would definitely buy this again!

I really love everything about this lotion... except for the fact that you really shouldn't use it all over your body when you get out of the shower... especially in winter. It feels like you have Icy Hot all over your body, super uncomfortable :-/

i LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this lotion and this smell in general. Smells like sweet peppermint. This smell stays on my body for hours and I love how it makes my skin feel cold right after I put it on. I use this all the time in the winter for the holidays from December-February. I really hope they bring this smell back for next year's holiday collection!!

Smells lovely and accurately pepperminty. Unfortunately for me, the scent doesn't linger on me at all. After an hour, it's faint or completely gone. I've found though that it mixes very well with Exotic Coconut lotion for a sweet, clean smell (and the mix increases its staying power a little bit).

This smells just like peppermint. I love to wear this around the holidays!

I love this scent..it smells exactly like a candy cane to me. I absolutely love the BBW lotions - they are very moisturizing, absorb quickly into the skin and do not leave a greasy feel. This lotion is a little different because of the cooling or tingling feeling you get after applying. I have sensitive skin and it doesn't bother me at all! Still love the scent and this lotion!

I really love the smell of this lotion--it's very sweet, how candy canes actually smell (though my husband says it reminds him of cotton candy). It's pretty moisturizing, and I love the packaging. But I can't get past the cold, tingly feeling after you put it on. This is definitely a winter scent, but in the winter I don't relish applying products that make me feel colder for up to half an hour. I won't buy this again, and it'll probably take me a good while to go through the rest of the bottle that I do have.
