I love the way this lotion smells! It absorbs quickly and leaves my skin soft. I've repurchased twice and will continue to do so!

This moisturizer smells lovely, gives a nice sheen to the skin and is more on the thicker side. It spreads easily and absorbs quickly, but I always feel like my skin is waxy not moisturized, if that makes any sense.
I really prefer their Whipped Silk one over this, which is lighter but gives me that moisturized feeling instead of the plastic-y barbie doll leg feeling...
Love the new packaging but won't repurchase...

on the bottle it says 100% natural moisturizers, but i dont feel like a natural lotion when i use it (smell-wise and ingredient-wise). it is basicly gycerin (2nd main ingredient), and it is very far from being 100% natural with all the CI ingredients in it. so, i call the label false advertising and nothing else. ill finish it using on my legs and feet (do not use it on upper body or face if you have acne prone skin because it contains mineral oil). would definitely not buy or use it again.

Looooooove this lotion!!! Its cheap, moisturizes very well, and has a pleasant scent. It never leaves me feeling greasy, and helps give my skin a healthy glow. This is the only lotion Ive used for the past year, and I doubt ill use anything else. My only problem is that its kind of difficult to find. I always buy like 3or 4 at a time just to make sure I never run out.

First off, this is more like a balm than a lotion, and that is peachy w/ me. I'm dryer than the Sahara, so this thick, beautifully fragrant moisturizer fits the bill for me. I bought this @ a local (non-chain) drug store for $4.99 for 18 oz. size. I'm so glad I did because I love it, and so does my skin : D !
I gave the packaging a 3 because it took some gymnastics to get the pump to spit out freaking anything!

I love how moisturizing this body lotion is. I have tried other store brands and this one is by far the most effective in hydrating my legs and I notice that the effect last for days so I don't need to use it everyday.

You know, I have always wanted this lotion since it came out (2007?) but it was almost always sold out whenever I remembered to look for it. I found this the other day and picked up a bottle to replace my empty Johnson & Johnson Softlotion (which I love but I wanted to try something new). I have been mixing a few pumps of the Mineral Lotion with a squirt of lavander baby oil (Johnson's) and applying the mixture from neck to toe. It keeps me hydrated for a full 24 hours when it is time for my next shower. I was using BBW Amber (the heavier lotion in the tube) but I was still getting itchy areas on my legs and near my ankles.
The baby oil/lotion solution is a perfect one, probably works well with any lotion (ya, probably the Amber one I already have, too, but I really wanted this!) so you might try that if you are looking for winter skin solutions. The lotion helps the oil absorb so you are not a big oily mess. I still wear my robe when I do my makeup and dry my hair, though, just to make sure it has all absorbed before getting dressed.
I will stick with this routine until spring--I love how it feels. I am not sure about how noticeable the scent is (true on the cucumber/sea like smell) and how it works with my perfume (main reason for using the Amber to begin with) but it seems to be pretty subtle.
Packaging: the pump can get a little asthmatic, just because the lotion is somewhat thick. I will buy this again! continued >>

I loooove all St. Ives lotions in general, and this one was no different. It absorbs incredibly fast and leaves your skin baby smooth, although I did take off a lippie because it doesn't seem like the hydration lasts as long as I need it to, especially in winter. (I would suggest getting the St. Ives 24-hour lotion for dryer days/seasons, that one's a bit heavier). The smell is noticeable but quite lovely, although I can't pinpoint exactly what it seems like because it's not flowery or honey-like. It just smells very warm and homey.

Also, for a 18 oz. bottle, I only had to pay around $3.50, which is cheaper than even the Vaseline lotions (which I don't like nearly as much). Considering that St. Ives lotions are 100% natural and work just as well (if not better) as other types of lotion, this is a fantastic deal!

Wonderful product. I've been using St. Ives Mineral Therapy for the past 4 years and have yet to find anything that works better! It's really inexpensive yet works better than a lot of other pricier, higher-end lotions. I use it all over, immediately after showering, and it leaves my skin feeling perfectly moisturized and healthy, without any stickiness whatsoever. It doesn't have a very strong smell, but what little scent that it does have is simply fresh and light. The best comparison I can give to explain the wonders of this lotion is that it's like watering a thirsty plant-- your body just soaks up St. Ives. :-)

Very good allover moisturizer. It spreads well and absorbs well, too. Especially when I wana apply it right after a shower and my skin is still a little wet. I find some lotions tend to just sit on the wet skin but this absorbs pretty well. The smell is a little strong initially when you apply it, not unpleasant, just a little strong. However, it dissipates after a few minutes. It doesnt interfere with any fragrances applied on top, either.
The price is pretty good too. Especially if you get it at Costco, two 600ml bottles plus a bonus 100ml hand cream for about 4.50. Pretty awesome deal given how good of a moisturizer it is if you have normal skin and are planning on using it as an extra moisture barrier for your skin.

This is an awesome moisturizer and I definitely recommend giving it a try. It has a nice light scent, moisturizes well, good consistency, pleasant texture and absorbs well. My skin stays moisturized for long periods of time without any excessive reapplication and for the price (especially if you catch it on sale), it's a steal!

LOVE this lotion. i love its smooth whipped texture and the little particles of minerals or whatever blended in. i love the smell because it reminds me of my body shop bath salts, it makes you feel like youre at a spa because its a very ocean-sea smell.
my favourites from the st ives lotion range are the collagen and this mineral therapy. definitely great value and ill continue to use them for a long while yet.

I use the Nourishing Body Creme in the jar...and it is magnificent! It smells amazing. It has a great texture and makes your skin incredibly soft. It's a little more expensive than I expected it to be, but it's worth it. If you want a very moisturizing body cream without it being too greasy, this is the one for you. I used to always use body butters like Body Shop's body butter, but this tops them hands down. Way better-smelling and not greasy, but very moisturizing. I'll keep buying this for sure.

Wow. So I bought an 18 oz. bottle of this on sale for $2 at CVS a few months ago, and I have to say it works better than any other body lotion I have ever used. It has a wonderful scent (sort of a light cucumber, very fresh) and my skin absolutely drinks it up! It's especially great after I shave, I never get razor bumps or burn now. It doesn't leave me feeling greasy, and while the scent lingers, it isn't overpowering and stays close to my skin. I will definitely be buying this again.

This is my favorite St. Ives lotion!!! I can't believe how fast this lotion absorbs while providing intense moisture without any greasy feeling. I am usually picky about winter lotion because I usually need a "heavy" lotion to get through winter. Uh-um, not anymore. This light lotion can handle all weather year round. This is such a great quality product at an amazing price.

Hmmm....I'm on the fence with this one. I absolutely LOVE how quick-absorbing it is. I have never ever found or used a lotion that absorbed into my skin so quickly. The scent I find nice.
However, this lotion definitely is not the most moisturizing. I prefer the aloe lotion by Vaseline. Also, I find this lotion irritates the sensitive skin on my legs, as I have eczema.
I won't buy again, but you may want to consider this if your skin is not too too dry.

I liked this lotion. It's a relatively light moisturizer that absorbs well. It has a light, refreshing scent that's not too cloying. My only complaint is that it didn't seem to last long and I had to reapply it every so often. But if your skin is only a little dry, it would probably be the perfect product for you.

This lotion is non-greasy and does the job of moisturizing. For me this lotion absorbs well although I'm not too crazy about the smell. It smells kind of like the ocean (not that it's a bad smell). Overall it really does the job.

It's a thick cream but it does its job in moisturizing. The scent is okay but I just think Collagen elastin lotion from St. Ives makes my skin smoother and softer.

Similar to some of the comments below, I like the light non-greasy feel of this lotion. I also like that it doesn't have an overpowering smell, but I don't think it moisturizes very well. I doesn't penetrate the skin...instead it settles on top and dries off with time. I've used better and I plan to go back to them when I'm done with this bottle.
