One of the greatest eye shadows I've ever had! What I found was great for green eyes is using all three colors, yellow for base, orange for about 2/3 of your eyelid, and brown for the crease. Also by using a plum colored eyeliner makes for greatttt eyes!!!
p.s: I was so against anything other than black eyeliner, but plum really does wonders for green eyes :)

Despite being told by "experts" that shadows in the brown family aren't flattering on brown eyes I just couldn't help but love these beautiful shimmering shades. The colors are actually great and are wonderful for a natural look. Going from light to dark from corner to the outside of my eye and then the lightest shade around the bottom lid makes my eyes look big and glowy. Perfect for any time of the year, I think, but probably best during summer.

Really like this, I picked this up because I'm really into golden shades and I find most brown shadows look muddy on me. Anyway I don't find them to crease on me at all, but thats probably because I use a eye primer. There is fallout that bothers me but I just clean up after eye shadow application and it looks great throughout the day with no problems. I find that the darkest shade isn't as pigmented as in looks in the pan, or it is to close in colour with the middle shadow, who knows but I definitely recommend this product!

For some reason, the middle color (orange) was super chalky in my palette. The only color I really used was the 1st one, which looks really nice for a natural, everyday look
Will not repurchase.

A couple years ago I bought a CG 4 pan kit called Coffee Shop and fell in love with the gold shade. The pigment was great for a drugstore e/s and looked wonderful over whatever e/s I layered it over. Because of this I kept it in the back of my mind that CG had improved the quality of their eye shadows and to pay attention for sales in case I found some colors I'd want to use. Recently I found the 3 pan Golden Sunset at half off and was hopeful that the Golden Sunrise and First Light shades would be as great as the gold shade in Coffee Shop. As a cream shade e/s junkie I'm in love with the First Light shade as it perks my lids up nicely and works great as a brow bone highlight. I can say that they aren't as rich as the gold shade e/s in Coffee Shop but they are close. They keep their color and build well and they aren't glittery, which is great for me, but they have a nice subtle shimmer that can be seen easily so you don't need to pack much on to get a nice color/shimmer payoff. IMO these shadows work well and would go in the "ye olde reliable standby" category. The case it comes in is made of the flimsiest plastic and I'm afraid that if I were to ever drop it the whole thing would fall apart. That is ok though cause I bought the kit for the shadows and not the case and as someone said below I'd rather pay a low price and get good eye shadows than pay for gorgeous packaging and bad quality shadows. I'll definitely be buying more CG shadows in the future if CG keeps this up.

It doesn't last very long on me, and it creases a lot. I bought it because I loved the colors in the pan, but I don't think they are very pigmented.

A very pretty trio! The gold color is very pretty as a highlight shade, the medium color is great as an all over lid color. But the dark color...ehhh...it has a lot of red tones in it, which is unlike the other 2 because they had gold tones in it. Therefore, use the darkest shade sparingly, otherwise it'll make you look sick. Otherwise, a great trio. Perfect for the summer!

I love lightest shade for the inside corner of my eyes. The medium shade is nice in the summer if you are in a rush and just want a quick all over lid color. But the darkest shade in my opinion is really ugly. I have tried it in the summer when Im tan and in the winter when Im fair and I find it to be very unflattering no matter what my skin tone.

used to wear this alot. but figured its too orange!
its too orange at least on fair complexions like mine...
if you have a tan this one would look nice.
if not the Cafe Eu Late one looks amazing!
one CON: it creases super bad!
one PRO: the darkest color is pretty and pigmented

I liked the color combination when I saw it because it seemed good for a more subdued smokey eye. The colors are nice, but I think they are a little too glittery (since all three contain some shimmer). I would use at least two of the colors but then bring in a more matte color from somewhere else. The eyeshadows do crease throughout the day, especially on my lids, and the color fades a little too. Still, this is a decent trio but I would try other sets.

I have several GC eye enchancer shadows. Mainly due to the variety in colors and price.
PROS:
-Colors look beautiful together. I get complimented every time I wear.
-Great shimmer, not too overpowering or glittery.
CONS:
-Doesn't last too long and creases really bad.
-I hate CG cases. Mine all tend to crack and brake off.
-I wish they had better brushes. Maybe one side could be more like a brush then sponge like.

Of all the Cover Girl eye shadows I have tried, this is one of the best. The three shade are very pretty and very wearable. They are shimmery but it is not a glittery or frosty shimmer. I use the golden sunset shade on the lid and lightly up to the brow. Morning Cocoa is my crease and outer v shade and first light is my highlighter. Sometimes I use golden sunset just as a wash of color and it is very pretty on its own. This is one of my favorite trios for fall and also for summer when going for a bronzed look. As far as application, these go one pretty smoothly and there is less fallout with these than with other CG shadows I have tried. Pigmentation is very nice. I am taking off one lippie because the packaging is pretty flimsy and it cracks and breaks easily. But otherwise, I am very happy with this trio and I will buy it again.

I have found cover girl shadows to be a hit or miss. These are surprisingly good, though! This trio contains the following shadows: Morning Cocoa (bronzed color), Golden Sunrise (golden color), and First Light (light glistening buttery color). This trio is great for blue eyed gals! I like that they all have sheen, but no glitter. They last well if worn over top of a good base (I use TFSI). I don't find them to be chalky. I wouldn't go as far as to say they are equal to some other HE shadows, because I can feel that they aren't *quite* as silky as some, but they are very nice. I would probably repurchase...they're nice colors and very convenient having them all in one little compact. Speaking of...the compacts are terrible. Just cheap and flimsy... BUT on the other hand, I'd rather the package be cheap and the quality of product inside to be good...so..I'm not going to dwell on that.

I see no difference between these eyeshadows and one of the higher end ones. They have great pigmentation, great staying power and the color is beautiful. I love the combination of this trio esp. the golden shade. Try it and you'll see. Cover girl has improved their eyeshadow formulas and I am loving it.

This is my favorite product for eyeshadow, I primarily use the Morning Cocoa color alone and it makes my hazely brown eyes pop!! I also like the Golden Sunset but find it can look a little too pigmented for my skin so I save it for times when I want a more dramatic look. The First Light does nothing for me, much too light for my coloring, but would probably make a fantastic highlighter if I used it. I find this eyeshadow lasts all day with minimal creasing by the end of the day, but I just use my fingertip to redistribute the color and its like new again so I have no issues! I have, and will, continue to purchase this trio.

I thought the trio was a nice buy. I liked the colors, and they looked alright on my brown eyes. But I'm sure it'd look better on someone else.
The colors are nicely pigmented and are very shimmery as well.
I found that, with a base, the shadows stayed on for a while too.
I would buy again, but not in these colors.

I love this trio! The colors are gorgeous varying golden/bronze shades that I think make a beautiful casual day look. I wear these colors quite often, and have had numerous compliments on its appearence. I like the application of these, and I haven't had problems with the wear of them with primer. I had been buying higher end e/s in the past, but I have found that many of CG e/s I like equally. Plus, I like the idea of getting more product for your buck. The only problem I have with CG shadows is the packaging is horrendous. The plastic lid never had a chance from the beginning it just breaks off.
