Dr Loretta products are very new to me. I bought two trial kits from HSN (much cheaper than the Dr Loretta web site)...one was the Skin Care Basics set, and the other, the Skin Renewal Kit. The Duo Cleanse Exfoliating Cleanser is in the Skin Care Basics Kit. The ingredients are few, and the foaming agents rather gentle (the ingredients are posted for all products on Dr Loretta's website...YES! and Thank You!) The active ingredient in the Duo wash is Salicylic Acid at 2%. The SA and detergents (low foaming), do cause the skin to tighten up after washing...squeaky clean...but not awful. My pores are as small as I've ever seen them, and although I don't need this for acne protection (some might, and it would have a nicely purifying effect), I do like to see my skin with tiny pores for a change. I also love the exfoliation from something other than glycolic acid. I would buy this again, and am quite curious to try the other cleanser offering: 'Moisture Cleanse'. The Duo Cleanse also brings about a rosey glow I haven't seen on my skin in ages. My skin feels uber clean, but not totally stripped. I'm 48, with combo(oily forehead) skin, lots of deeply imbedded hyperpigmentation stain from my lifeguarding days, large pores, and the beginning of skin laxity and undereye wrinkles(eak!) from estrogen deprivation. I live in the arid Rocky Mountains, and imagine that in the summertime swealter, this cleanser might be truly beneficial. Prices on these straightforward products are fair....much more reasonable than department store brands, with guaranteed results. This cleanser is normally $23 for 6.7 ounces (200ml). I'd trust my skin without hesitation to these products.

This is an amazing cleanser and quite a find from HSN. I began with the starter kit and ended up ordering the full size cleanser. Duo cleanse is mild, removes makeup, doesn't contain fragrance, and leaves my skin feeling comfortable. What more could one want from a cleanser? I highly recommend trying the 4-piece kit as a way of getting started with this line.
