oh what a disappointment. I read many, many reviews prior to purchasing this. it looks beautiful in the pan but applied to the eyes it is very wahed out and makes me look like i've been having a good cry.

It's also got a good amount of shimmer to it (which I hate) and is very hard to blend in without looking amateur.

good thing I had a coupon and got this for free.

I bought four Flirt Mousse shadows since I like Flirt and the reviews here were pretty good.

This color is beautiful but like all of the mousse shadows I bought, I find that the color goes on light and is very difficult to blend without looking like you're just shoving around the same little pile of shadow to different areas on your lid. It was really, really hard to blend evenly. And it didn't last at all.

I am sad to be disappointed by this! I always want to love everything!

I am so disappointed with this. I have the 24 KT and Love it. Now this makes no sense to me. High Maintenance looks so deep and lovely but in reality it is nothing but a slippery mess. I try to apply more and more of it just to get some color and now the day is half over and it is a big crease mess on my face. NO color, and all I can see left of it is some gold sparkly's. Greatly disappointed after using and loving 24 KT..
would not repurchase this color again

I must say I agree with the other reviewers of this product: This product is great. The color is a beautiful plum-brown with a light (and I mean light) sprinkling of a very fine shimmer/sparkles which in no way makes one look like a teeny-bopper, drag queen, glitter queen, etc. The shimmery effect adds contrast and depth to the color, IMO.


I find that this product lasts a long time on one's eyelids (especially if applied a e/s primer beforehand) and it does not crease or fade. I live in Charleston, SC (for weather reference) and its really hot and humid here and I apply this in the morning and it truly lasts all day. You do not need to "glop" it on to get nice color and definition on the eyelids either.



This product is my go-to eyeshadow when I want to look polished yet with minimal effort. I will be repurchasing.

I am fairly new to Flirt! Cosmetics and so far have been impressed. The High Maintenance mousse shadow is not an exception. This is a beautiful plum/brown shade with gold microshimmer sparkles. It has a nice texture and goes on sheer for a himt of shimmery color or can be easily built to a more intense shade. It dried pretty quickly on me and has not creased in the last couple of hours, even in the Baltimore August heat and humidity. This particular shade looks amazing on blue eyes!

This is the best creamy shadow I've ever used! The color is a plummy-brown with gold flecks. It really brings out my hazel eyes. The texture is light and fluffy, and it blends easily on the eyelids. It lasts well without much creasing. I can't wait to try more shades!

I really love the texture of this eyeshadow mousse, it's so smooth and creamy!
The color is really great, it looks a little dark in the tub, but once you put it on, it thins out and is super easy to blend with just a finger.
Its a nice brown color with a touch of golden sparkles in it. Perfect for the autumn months! I usually wear it over a thin to medium line of black pencil eyeliner with black mascara and it looks great.

I love this eyeshadow and would definitely buy it again!

I was on the lookout for a dark grey eyeshadow and originally had wanted to purchase the grey mousse eye shadow in midnight disco, but kohls was completely out. I bought high maintenace instead since i was excited to try the formula on a recommendation from an online fellow makeup user.

The I'm Whipped Eyeshadow Mousse is described as soft and creamy, leaving eyes gleaming. i have to say it does deliver! High Maintenance seems dark in the pot, but on application is rather sheer, i wanted something darker but i am sure layering would be no problem at all. there's sparkles in it but nothing over the top, just really pretty. The texture is to die for though, so light and airy, easy to apply. I am definitely going to try to find midnight disco (the grey shade) because i simply love these. I wish they would just come out with darker colors since I am not a pastel type of girl and their color selection is quite light. The SA recommended that I keep the pots sealed tightly or else risk drying the product out--it is a mousse.
