Meow! This is one sexy fragrance! As a former BBW employee I've pretty much tried every fragrance the company has put out and sensual amber is my favorite by far.
First of all, it smells expensive, much like a high end perfume. It's got an exotic sweetness to it, not the usual BBW whitefloral/fruity sweetness, but something deeper and darker. When it dries down, you get a sexy amber sandalwood-y base that lasts all day. This is a heavier perfume so I typically wear it in the colder months, however, it would be perfect to wear on a sultry summer night as well.
This is not your usual BBW fragrance at all, not sugary sweet and marketed to 15 year olds..this is a big girl fragrance! If you've never tried it before, head out to your local BBW and give it a try, it really is amazing!

Never having been a fan of B&BW fragrances (too sweet...too floral...too generic) I had to smell this after reading reviews here. After letting it dry down while in a bookstore I got a veil of warm, floral, powder...don't know how else to describe it. The initial spray was classic B&BW BUT when this settled into it's resting place (a term I call the bottom notes) I fell for it. If I smelled this on someone else I'd never guess this was B&BW that's how well done it is. I love to spray ALL my fragrances down low on my lower back & backs of knees...I swear the scent is plain better that way. Instead of a cloud around your neck and boobie area, sprayed low it tends to waft up lightly all day. I'm thankful to MUAer's for all your honest opinions on products.

I really like this scent!!! Although it wasnt..quite..what I was expecting. This is a very deep WOODSY amber with a hint of vanilla. This is the EDT form. In the other form, the body mist, this scent is more floral (rather than woodsy) with slightly more vanilla. The EDT is *almost* masculine smelling on me... but not totally. I like it. Its great for night time, very comforting and yes sensual.

This is one of my new favorite scents!! It smells like a luxury perfume!! For the price I expected it to be crappy but it smells really good and it last!!! I put some on at 6 in the morning and could still smell it at 11 that night! I always get tons of compliments on it and my boy friend loves it!!! Go to BBW and atleast smell it!!!!

I get so many compliments on this scent. I like to wear this on the weekends when I go out at night (and sometimes layer with Burberry Weekend). It is a little sweet, spicy, and sophisticated. Another win from BBW. I know the amber scents are really in right now, but I really wish BBW would keep this scent around as a classic romantic scent.

I was looking through B&BW during their Hello Yellow sale, on the hunt for a lovely bottle of JCB (I know lots dislike but I miss it on cold days), but they were out, of course; so I just began sniffing around. Low and behold I stumbled upon Sensual Amber.. smells like Autumn and relaxation.. it's calming to me.. I don't know anything about top notes/base notes/ ect. But I loved it so much I bought two bottles, sadly it doesn't last long on me at all, even though I layer with the body wash and lotion. Most lotions and body mists/perfumes fade very easily on me which is why I only took off one lipstick.
If you like cozy, you should definitely take a whiff next time you're around B&BW continued >>

I wore this to the movies with a group of friends. Afterwards, back at my friend's house, we kicked back and watched another film. One guy I was particularly interested in cuddled next to me on the floor and soon, he kept leaning in and grazing my neck. I realized that that was where I had sprayed it - the back of my neck. He made every effort to get closer to me and I swear it was my scent that mesmerized him ;) Beautiful fragrance for cozy autumn days and nights.

Bought this based on the reviews. This was one of my first BBW products as well. I do like the BBW EDT formula; it's comparable to some perfumes which are twice the price. It lasts and doesn't smell alcoholic or cheap. Now the scent:
* Top Notes: Bergamot, Wild Berries, Succulent Plum
* Mid Notes: White Rose, Orange Flower, Lotus Petals, Iris
* Base Notes: Amber, Creamy Sandalwood, Vanilla, Patchouli, Praline, Musk
I really wanted to like this, but at first, I didn't love it. On me, the scent goes to the base notes after 30 mins and I smell too sweetly of vanilla for most of the day. But the scent grew on me. By night time, the smell becomes really creamy, warm, delicious and very "sensual amber". I love it now and it's a good price.

Purchased this fragrance because i read that it is a dupe for the exquisite flowerbomb by viktor and rolfe. Have used this for a couple of weeks now and I love it. It is a gorgeous fruity fragrance with warm, seductive amber. What it is not, however, is a dupe for flowerbomb. This fragrance has its own unique personality - best experienced on a cool winter evening.

Thank you, mua! I probably never would have discovered this if it wasn't for the good reviews on here. I love the whole sensual amber line, and it all started with the EDT. The great thing about this is that, on me, it lasts all day--great if you don't have time to go back and reapply later on. To me, this scent is warm, sensual, and comforting. I know it's more of a winter scent, but I love it so much that I wear it year-round.

I have been wearing this for the last few weeks and I love it. It stays for quite on while on my skin and doesn't turn cheap smelling on me. It smells just as good later in the day as it did early. It is creamy, soft and warm. I wear it lightly to work and use a little more when I go out in the evenings. Right now this is my favorite fragrance. Others I wear are Burberry Brit, Burberry Beat, and Giorgio She. The price was great with a coupon I had. This is my first EDT from Bath and Body and I will say that I am impressed. However, I did not like the body mist in this fragrance.....it had to much alcohol and turned really bad on me later in day.

I don't wear Sensual Amber myself, but it's currently my mom's signature scent. Even though I know it's what she wears, for some reason when I see her I always say "You smell so good...what *is* that?" It's a very warm, comforting scent.

This is definitely one of my all time favorite scents, I always have a stock of this available somewhere around. Every time I wear this I always get compliments. I'm so happy that this one is back & hopefully to stay! continued >>

It's crazy I spent so much money on so many difference perfumes from Juicy Couture, to Vera Wang, to D&G.........and for some reason the most compliments come from this scent! I guess it just goes well with my skin, and boy am I one happy person to work well with something that's extremely affordable compared to all the other scents I've tried and haven't gotten as many compliments on. Silly of me to stop using this. Won't happen again!
FYI- It's a very sweet, but likely fruity scent, it's hard to describe but it's definitely a great and "seductive" scent. continued >>

Holy wow....OK I DON'T like this LOL BUT...I don't like it because it is a NEAR EXACT dupe for Flowerbomb edp!
I sprayed this on and was like "wow that smells familiar. I wonder why.' When I got home and hubby sniffed me I remembered why.
Him: "Eww...I thought you got rid of that stinky BO perfume." (yes flowerbomb lovely as it it smells like BO on me! GROSS!)
Me: "I did. It's a diff perfume."
Him: "I don't like it. Take it off."
So yes..not only to my nose is it a dupe but to hubby's too apparently and this man so infrequently notices anything I wear. FLowerbomb and Sensual Amber are the only 2 he has ever HATED vehemently.

I love this stuff! It smells amazing - warm, creamy, cozy, and alluring. It's more of a cold weather scent, but sometimes I put it on before bed or going out in the summer. I don't get the fruity notes that others have noticed, but it does smell delicious! I have around 30 scents in rotation, but I wear this more than any of them -my absolute favorite!

I received this from a lovely MUAer. It is a gorgeous fruity scent that really does remind me of warm brown sugar. There is something in this fragrance that i have smelt in another perfume. Not sure which one but it is very familar. What i love about this is that even though it lingers on clothes it never gets cloying. This scent is so true to its name.

I love this scent! I keep trying new things, I am currently on a Ricci Ricci by Nina Ricci obsession phase haha, but I keep coming back to this.
I agree that it is more of a winter scent but I still wear it at night year round. It is so affordable as well. It looks kind of cheap in the bottle but for the price I don't mind. I absolutely love this scent! I will not be without it.
It is strong and a little goes a long way. That being said, something about the smell is just delicious. So many people recognize it as well. Can't rave enough about this.

Wet: A bit fruity, but spicy and warm.
Dry: The fruity note is still the most obvious scent on my skin, but there's a lovely amber/sugar-y scent underneath.
Dry (a few hours later): Smells a bit like burnt/caramelized sugar and amber, the fruit note is barely detectable. Still yummy, but not in the way the initial scent was. A little let down, but it's not the end of the world, since the scent is still quite nice.
In all, it's a good warn winter scent, and quite cheap at that, but it's nothing extraordinary.

I usually avoid BBW beyond candles and aromatherapy stuff and I've always liked this in the candle version so when I got it as a gift I was pleasantly surprised. It is a very nice scent . . . . especially for BBW. Decent dupe for VR Flowerbomb. I will not likely repurchase as I'm still not inclined to do BBW fragrances, but would accept this as a gift again.
