It's fragrance free, sting free, grease free, and basically doesn't have any adverse affects. I never sunburn wearing this but I can still get a slight tan. I guess time will only tell if it's really effective at preventing skin cancer. IMHO, this is one of the best sun blocks on the market. I don't use it daily for the face, just as an all over body lotion when I'm swimming or outdoors all day. Best of all, DDF doesn't test on animals!!!

This is a white, somewhat emollient cream all-chemical sunscreen strongly reminiscent in texture of Neutrogena's SPF45. It's slightly less greasy and slightly easier to spread than the Neutrogena stuff. It also has no discernible fragrance. Besides the Organic Sunblock, this is the only DDF sunscreen without alcohol in it.
I tried it on my face, there was no stinging and the finish was more matte than Paula's Choice Oily Skin SPF30. No breakouts in my case, but I still returned it because it's a thick cream, so the texture makes it somewhat difficult to spread, even on my hands. It's seems like an OK option, but I'll keep looking. continued >>
