Pretty good moisturising lip balm which applies nicely and is not sticky. Lips are moisturised for a couple of hours before needing reapplication. I lke the rose scented formula and the colour although very bright in the pot looks rather natural and rosy on the lips.

I hate the packaging - especially as it stains your fingers if you apply it with those. It is unhygienic and messy to apply. I agree with another poster who said it would be perfect in a tube. Or maybe a rollerball tube. The pot is good quality glass with quaint retro labelling.

This lip gloss has the prettiest red tint. It's definitely red but still looks natural. Moisturizing and smells good. I love everything about it but the packaging, I wish it wasn't a pot. I hate sticking my fingers in it (and my fingertip gets stained red), and I never bring it with me anywhere because I don't want to fumble around with a pot and a lip brush. If Benefit could put this in a tube, I'd be in lip heaven.

I have just finished my first pot and waiting for my second to arrive by mail (yes, I am too lazy to go out and buy it from the counter). The biggest upside of this product for me is how the color fits my complexion perfectly. It also makes my lips incredibly soft. It might be a bit sticky for some, but my lips are crazy dry and I live in a harsh area (near the beach) so I take this stickiness as a positive feature. I swear since I've started using it my lips feel softer and less chappy even without anything on them. The smell is also nice.
The downside is (aside from being a bit on the expensive side) the pot is, IMHO, already a bad idea to store any product if it comes without an applicator, let alone combining it with something this sticky (come on! It gets disgusting sometimes to dip your finger in, spread them across the lips, and then what do I do with the excess balm on my finger?). It also taste a bit weird, and, not that I deliberately eat my lip balms, but sometimes it is inevitable.
Overall I would restock this product when I finish my second pot, the reason mainly being that despite its downsides I have yet to find another product that does my lips better.

This stuff is AWESOME!
I had never payed any attention to this product, but the lady at the Benefit counter at Macy's suggested it to me & I quite literally fell in love with it. It looks like a red cinnamon bear & has a faint smell of roses. It's slightly pigmented & gives your lips a wonderful red hue. You do have to be careful when applying it though so you don't get messy & have red outside your lips. It's not sticky at all. I take it everywhere with me. It's perfect for summer & has an SPF of 15 in it. continued >>

I sometimes use it in combo with Benetint, but definitely use more Benetint than this. I does make my lips look natural, but I already have dark lips, so I don't see any added color. There are plenty of better Benefit products to buy.

I purchased this product 3 days ago and i have loved it every time i have used it. It isn't sticky, it's very moisturizing, and has a very beautiful red shine to it. You can wear it any time of day and have a very fine red lip without the hassle of removing it. I also like how it leaves a nice pink color on your lips after many hours. I would defiantly re-purchase this product <3 continued >>

I really like Benetint Lip Balm and have had mine a couple of years so it lasts a long time. It gives a rosy red glossy sheen to the lips without being sticky and it feels quite moisturising. It's the perfect way to have red lips without looking too 'made up'.

The only downside is the packaging. I would use it more if I didn't have to dig my finger into the pot each time, as when I do this the product gets stuck behind my nail which isn't nice! I would prefer to have an applicator of some sort and, if it did, I'm sure I'd use it a lot more.

This stuff dried my lips out. Also - the colour did nothing for me. Similar to the Some-Kinda-Gorgeous, I guess one shade doesn't do it for everyone. So disappointing!

I really love this lip balm. It leaves your lips with a pretty rosy red sheen but is not sticky at all. It stayed on for ages and the moisturized feeling also lasted on my lips. I love this for an everyday balm as it gives just the right amount of colour and makes you look polished. Love it.

I layered this over Benefit's Full Finish Lip Stick in "Do Tell" and it really looks quite nice. Color lasted a long time and my lips felt moisturized. I enjoy the scent too. This stuff is pretty expensive, but will take me a very long time to get through all of it.

This is a great pinky red gloss. I tend to go with something more orange but I still like this and works for a lot of people. In a pinch it's fantastic as a cheek stain and less of a hassle than Benetint, which I don't care for.

This is great! It combines the great tint of Benetint with a moisturizing lip balm and works well. I love that it leaves that great just bitten look on my lips and I don't have to apply an extra lip balm. The pot is a little small, however, and it is a little expensive for such a small pot, but I still like it and will buy it. It does seem like it's lasting a while, too. Just be careful about leaving this in a hot place. When mine starts melting, I just pop it in the refridgerator for a while, it helps.

I definitely enjoy this product. I like the understated rose fragrance. I love the "flush" to the lips this provides. However, it is very pricey for what it is and lasting power should be better. Sure, it has SPF, but so do many other products for around $2. My recommendation is to put on a good SPF lip balm from the drugstore and use L'Oreal Jelly Balm in Delectable over it. The color is identical at only a fraction of the price.

I like this product. It gives my lips a nice base for other products. For day time I can just use gloss (great under red gloss!!!) or lipstick for more color. It does leave a slight stain which is better than having bare lips when lipstick wears off. I do use chopstick under (my habit with all lip products) and I have not noticed my lips drying out at all. I will keep this product in my collection.

I tried this after trying the regular Benetint. I thought that this was going to be the answer to the natural lipcolor I seeked since the regular Benetint had the right color just the wrong consistency and formula. This was a complete waste of money, hardly any color on the lips and it wore off within minutes! It actually left my lips drier afterwards!

I have tried benetint with and without the lipgloss. Get the lipgloss, or it will run! But the color is good, and it stays on and in place with the gloss. I like it a lot. :)
**This is NOT for the potted balm. This is for the stain. For some reason, this was the closest i could find.

I'm on my second pot of this stuff, the first one lasted me over a year because I didn't really reach for it that much. Don't get me wrong though I really love the color this gives my lips, it's a pretty rosy color that really makes my lips pop. I like this mostly in the winter when I'm more pale along with a rose or plumy blush it gives
me that snow white look. Although I really like this color I don't like having to stain my fingers to apply it and I find that it dries out my lips if I don't pair it with a lip balm. I also think it is over priced but I will repurchase until I find a cheaper produc that can give my lips the same effect for a lower price.

This balm was a huge disappointment. I find there is little to no tint or color whatsoever... and essentially looks the same as any other clear lip balm I use, but with a bit of extra shine. Other reviews say it even stains your finger, but I notice almost NO color on my fingers after I apply it. It's probably something that can be used in conjunction with other lip products nicely. I do love the Kiss of Flavor lip balm by Nivea, but agree with other reviewers that it is too bold once layered. Might work well with a light layer of Nivea topped with Benetint. Unfortunately, this just isn't worth the price at all to be used as a stand alone product... which is really what I'm looking for.

Gives a pretty, sheer rosy tint. Texture isn't sticky.
But it smells and tastes awful (like chemicals) and dries within a matter of minutes so you have to reapply often. Doesn't feel like something that's good for your lips.
I think it's about $15 overpriced for what you're getting, though I would not repurchase even if the price was lower.
