This is a very interesting fragrance. Upon first whiff I immediately thought that it smelled like Ayurvedic tea, and then I saw that Ayala sells this as a tea and a perfume on her website! It starts out smelling of indolic jasmine, accompanied by spearmint, green tea and medicinal oud. As it warms on the skin, there is a hay and woods accord that emerges and the indolic jasmine note fades. I like the smell of the warm, sun-dried hay, as it mellows out the spearmint, and the final drydown is a smooth, honeyed cup of herbal tea. Lovely and soothing! Poor lasting power of 2 hours, and quiet sillage.

Charisma starts with a refreshing breath of spearmint that is (thankfully) grassy and woody rather than chewing-gum sweet. Coupled with a gentle blend of grapefruit, jasmine, and green tea, it offers a perfect fragrance for hot weather--but that's not all. The base is what makes it special. Ambrette seed and osmanthus give it the aroma of warm skin. I even pick up a haylike note that is beautiful. This is not a simple fragrance, even thought it is straightforward. I would also consider it unisex. Very beautiful on the skin. The tonka bean is incredibly smooth and becoming.

Charisma, that is it! This unique perfume is so fun and playful, I instanly had to have it. When I wear this scent I smell the spearmint, jasmine, green tea and tonka bean. They mix magically together to form a wonderfully uplifting perfume that can be worn by all ages. My only gripe is it does not have the longest lasting power on me. It does come in the beautiful perfume pendents as a creme and I am sure it would last much longer that way. Or I will just have to keep buying it, oh well it is worth the money.
