I bought this lotion and the eucerin sensitive skin spf 30 lotion. I like how the Ambi one feels less greasy and sinks into the skin. The Eucerin felt like it was more greasy and didn't sink into my skin as well and left more of a white cast. It was more work to rub into my skin than the Ambi.
I do, however like that Eucerin's lotion was not scented (I'm sensitive to scents). I really do not like Ambi's scent (wish they made an unscented version), but I prefer the way it feels on my skin.
Overall, i'd buy it again just really don't like the smell! If i can find something else that sinks in well and doesn't leave an oily finish, I will probably make the switch. But for now, it's my everyday spf lotion.

I really love this product. I had been using Coppertone for Faces (which is a Suncreen with added moisturizers), but it was way too shiny/obvious. So I decided to buy a moisturizer with sunscreen in it, and chose this one based on price and the fact that it was oil free. It gives a really nice, dewey glow, and I can wear it under make-up. I would probably go with the Coppertone one on days when I go swimming. No breakouts so far/

My new daytime moisturizer! The moment I turned 20, I became very conscious about using spf religiously. I thought I had found a good match with Clinique's SPF 30 Face Cream, but alas, it was too rich and heavy for the heat. This moisturizer is rather light which I like and best of all, it leaves my face looking so dewy. I adore anything that gives me a dewy glow. Interestingly, the dewiness still remains even after I put on my foundation. The smell is pleasant enough, and I don't usually care for fragranced skincare. The bottle is 3 ounces, and retails for roughly $10. I do like the easiness and cleanliness of a pump bottle, so that's another plus. It provides good hydration without leaving skin greasy or dry with passing time. I'll for sure continue to buy this. I just wish Ambi made a night cream.

I have used many Ambi products for years, but this, I was not impressed with. It did nothing for me. The formula was too thin not impactful.

First, let me say that I have very acne prone skin and that I've tried nearly every other spf 30 facial moisturizer in the drugstore. Second, let me tell you why I gave this one 5 lippies after trying it for about a year.
Quality: It delivers. It moisturizes without excessive oiliness and it performs very well alone AND under makeup. (No dry patches around 3pm- just a nice glow.) Also, it's oil-free and it doesn't break me out. I can exfoliate my skin and use this product right after without any adverse side effects.
Packaging: the pump applicator keeps the product fresh and allows me to control it. It lasts me a long time because I know that exactly 3 pumps is all I need for my face and neck.
Price: I like the fact that it's a high spf at a reasonable price.
Yes, there is a slightly weird scent but it isn't bad and it doesn't linger. Fading? I'm not sure about that because I'm big on exfoliation and that could be part of the reason my dark marks are diminishing.
UPDATE: It's been well over a year and this product is still working well for me. No weirdness, no breakouts.

ok, this is my second time using this product.. Am a skincare beauty guru... if you have sensitive skin and prone to any breakouts besides your normal mothernature breakouts this is not the moisturizer for you.. Yes it does say its fades brown spots (from acne) but this makes your acne worse, from the highly ingredients.. if anyone who has acne, they need to use a sensitive moisturizer such as cetaphil.. i dont like this moisturizer because it stings, especially underneath my eyes.. and a moisturizer no matter what is so soppouse to do that.. i would not buy this and i will give this to my coworker, she uses it... yuk

This moisturizer is way too thick and greasy. Even during a very snowy winter my face looked like I had been working out hard about halfway through the day. I used it for about six months and never noticed any change with my old acne scars.

For anyone who had trouble finding this, I found it at my local WalMart. :-)
This is a good, oil-free, SPF-packed moisturizer. It doesn't break me out, and it feel really nice going on, really cool and smooth against my skin. I can't comment on the fading ability, as I've only been using it for a week. I also only use this during the day, and use Ponds Dry Skin Cream at night (My skin is freakishly finicky). Overall, I really like this, and plan to repurchase.

I've only been using this product for about 2 weeks now, so maybe it's not enough time to see results---as far as "Even Clear Skin". My skin still looks somewhat "patchy" in color. (I'm Filipino and have a natural medium-olive tan that can get REALLY tan during the summer.) I'll update after a month or so, regarding "even-ness". As far as moisturization is concerned, it DOES keep it pretty moisturized. I always thought I had dry skin, but I could be wrong. I only gave this 3 stars because even though it keeps my face highly moisturized, it also makes it look oily/greasy after application. (I imagine it's because of the higher SPF). I thought my skin would absorb it more after a few minutes, but it never does. I have to say, though, that this might be really good for dry-skin folk who like to use mineral makeup. I use *Everyday Minerals* (Olive-Medium in O-Glow & Intensive combined), and this does a really good job maintaining the dewy look that I want, and keeps my skin from looking dusty/ashy with it on. The problem is that on a really hot sunny day (I live in West Texas), I can sometimes "feel" the makeup on my face for awhile, which is probably due to the consistency of this moisturizer. After it finally settles, I no longer feel the makeup-moisturizer...and all I DO feel is soft and smooth skin. It may just be because I don't like to wear makeup period, so I'm more sensitive to the way things feel on my skin. Anyway, this is ALRIGHT if your skin is the type that can totally absorb anything that's applied to it, but if you're looking for something less oily/greasy (which I find weird because this is supposed to be a non-oily formula) than I suggest you try something else. I'll use this up and then try another moisturizer with high SPF. continued >>

I wear SPF 30 or greater everyday. This moisturizer left me with a greasy mess. My makeup slid off my face. I tried it three times before I gave up and passed it on to a friend with dry skin.
I have fair, combo/oily skin, and am in my 20s. Don't recommend for oily skin.

I gave this product a 4 because it's not moisturizing enough for the colder drier months, but I'm pretty sure this quick absorbing, non-greasy moisturizer will be heaven in the summer humid months. It will be a 5 for the summer, especially with the SPF 30. To help during the winter months, I add a light layer of vaseline for protection to seal moisture in my skin. The price seems expensive for 3 oz. but a 2 pumps are all you need for your face. This bottle should last a few months. This moisturizer, in conjunction with the AMBI exfoliator and foaming face wash, is doing wonders for my skin. Buy it and try it out...you may be pleasantly surprised!

I used this product for about 3-4 months. I wanted to try it because I do have a few acne scars left on my face and was interested in fading them. I have dry skin and this was pretty moisturizing, but I would use two pumps. I didn't notice a different for a while, then about a month ago, I finally noticed that some spots were kind of fading. I like this product, but it does take time to see results. The bad thing about it, is that it is hard to find.

The pump dispenses the right amount of moisturizer to keep my face well-hydrated. It left a bit of shimmer on my face but nothing OTT.
I thought this was a great moisturizer. It kept my skin moisturized and faded my acne scars with daily use over the span of about three months. I thought it was a great moisturizer until I started getting stubborn bumps on my face. I didn't see any difference until I stopped using this moisturizer. Unfortunately, it appears it was the culprit.

I love this product. I have dark skin and it is one of the few moisturizers with sunscreen that does not leave a white cast on my face. It's also a good moisturizer that does not leave my oily/combination skin feeling greasy. I have been using it for over a year now and I love it. It's a great product at a great price!

This is a high quality product. I do not use it anymore because it made my oily skin a bit too shiny but my SO uses it every day and it works wonderfully on his face. His skin is less oily than mine but he does get breakouts sometimes. This moisturizer evens his skintone and protects him from the sun. By using it along with a gentle SA cleanser and 5% BP lotion his skin has cleared up beautifully. He does like the pump alot but it should come with a cap. I highly recommend all of the AMBI products. I have tried several and none of them caused breakouts.

I have been using this product for about 3 weeks. I like that its not greasy and oily but enough moisture for my dry skin. I don't have many dark spots so that wasn't my concern but I noticed yesterday the few I did were fading! So thats cool. The only reason I took off a lippie is becuase I think there must be an ingredient that can make the moisturis appear chalky on darker skin. It doesn't effect my makeup so I don't really care. I could maybe seing real dark skin women have an issue. Overall I will buy again.
UPDATE-I have been using this for about 6 months now and through the winter months, overall its a great and inexpencisve moiustirizer, I said I had not had any dark sppots bt I ended up breaking out a couple of weeks ago and was left with a few dark areas, the AMBI has done a great job fading those spots so thumbs up!

I am very picky when it comes to moisturizers because anything and everything with a hint of glycerin, I have to avoid. Glycerin broke me out so badly and it took me a YEAR to repair all the damages. The only moisturizer that's been able to combat this are Aveeno and Ambi. I bought this at Target for around 15$. I noticed it had SPF 30 (while my Aveeno had SPF15). I also liked the benefits of having an even complexion because i have a ton of uneven-ness.
Day 1: Instantly I noticed the smell wasn't very good, because of the high sunscreen content. I didn't appreciate that at all. I also noticed it was much lighter and less moisturizing as my Aveeno was. I didn't like that either.
Day 3: I was breaking out from this and becoming peely from it. I quit it from my routine. It was giving me horrible cheek pimples that I could not deal with at all.

I am in love with this moisturizer. I was determined to buy it, because I am African American, have dark spots from acne, and have never used a moisturizer with SPF. So there were many reasons why I wanted to try it. Both of the drugstores in my neighborhood (Rite Aid and CVS) did not have this product, so I ended up ordering it from their website and having it mailed to my house.
Now for the actual review -- this moisturizer is wonderful. It goes on light, and does keep my very oily skin from being too oily by the end of the day. It also works well under my makeup, and helps my foundation go on smoothly. As for it's claiming to be able to remove dark marks, it has started to do that in the one week that I have used it. They have not disappeared, but some of them are a lot smaller and lighter than they once were. As another user said, the product does a better job of removing newer marks than it does older ones. Either way, there is an improvement, however small, and I am impressed. I definitely plan to repurchase, and recommend it especially to women of color like myself.
