Want your hands to feel velvet soft? Try this! Seriously though, this makes my skin feel softer then any other lotion or cream ever. I love this. The smell is nice too.

I received a sample of this in the July 2011 Birchbox. It's very moisturizing without being overly greasy. I wasn't crazy about the scent at first, but I got used to it eventually. I don't think I'd buy a full-size tube of this because it's pretty pricey for me, but otherwise it's a decent hand cream. I'd like it more if the scent weren't quite so strong.

Living in Chicago in winter time is so brutal. My hands constantly dry out and become ashy. This is just what I need. It's soft, buttery, and absorbs into your skin in seconds! I don't care too much for the scent but I did enjoy the fact that it did as it claimed and wasn't sticky or greasy.
The only thing I can not like about the product (besides the fragrance) is the packaging. I would have like a flip top instead.

I too received this from Birchbox and was skeptical at first. So many creams are too heavy and greasy, or take half the bottle to make a difference. This was totally the opposite! Just a dab and my hands are quickly moisturized without being greasy or gross. It absorbs so quickly, it's heaven-sent! This is definitely a great cream for year round - whether it's the summer heat or winter cold, it absorbs fast and is feather-light while still nourishing my hands. Love!

I got a sample size of this from Birchbox and I was pretty skeptical, but once I tried it I was sold! It is easily absorbed into the skin and it leaves your hands so nice and velvety. I like that the scent is very soft and not overpowering. I think that the price for a full size ($20!!!) is a bit steep though and that's what has held me back from purchasing the full sized version, although I may just suck it up and buy it once I'm out of my sample. Definitely a great product!

I think this cream reminds me a lot in smell and texture of Johnson and Johnson baby lotion. The fragrance is overwhelming, a little too strong for my taste. I am a person that suffers from eczema and all of my dermatologist recommends staying away from things containing fragrances, which this product clearly has yet is supposedly going to help "relieve" eczema. I don't think the product is horrible but its certainly not worth splurging $20 for a hand cream that gives your hands this rubbery feeling that many other drugstore hand cream does for less than half the price with a not so great fragrance. Overall, its an average hand cream, it does the job but for the price you would expect more.

I am a certified hand cream junky -- and this is absolutely my favorite. A close second is the hemp hand cream from The Body Shop. The Ahava hand cream makes my hands feel silky and soft and I would wear the fragrance as a perfume if it was available. Love this! (It does need a flip lid, though.)

Nice lightweight hand cream. Keeps my hands soft and smooth while providing a floral scent. Not sure if this would work on super dry skin but for my hands it works great.

Great non-cloying scent, not sticky at all and fades into our skin quickly leaving velvety hands. Love this hand cream!
I would rather have a flip-lid on this, as it is more practical on hand creams, so you wont smear in the tube with cream. But everything else is top notch!

My friend went to Israel and bought this for me. She swears by this brand, the smell is so addicting. This much better than the body lotion. It's refreshing, incredibly moisturizing without being greasy. Isn't sticky. Immediately makes my parched skin more soft.

I got a little sample of this at Ulta. I personally am fine with the smell and it's really moisturizing. Makes my hands feel really soft. It is kind of pricey depending where you buy it, but it's worth it.

Love this product.. Normally I use Herbacin Hand Creme because of the Glycerine but this product has co-HG status... I love it. It smells lovely and I always get complements on it. I wish the price was cheaper but a little goes a long way. Luckly they make this product so you do not need the entire bottle to make your hands feel better. I will continue to buy and luckly I can usually find it at a chain discount store.

First of all, I'm pretty sure this product is the same one that is also listed as "Advanced Hand Cream" on the Ahava list. I couldn't figure out why this had so few reviews, whereas the other one as more than a hundred. Mine says Mineral Hand Cream.
This hand cream really is among the best I've ever used. I was fortunate enough to get this in a package as a gift many years ago, and I've continued to buy it or get it as gifts. I don't buy a lot of hand creams, but I try a lot of them on and I don't see any reason to buy another one other than this. For the price, it is an excellent value.
It absorbs very easily and quickly and gives the hands a silky texture almost right away. There is no greasiness whatsoever. It has a light scent, you can sort of smell the sea salt. It does an excellent job of moisturizing. If I put it on before bed, my hands are still moisturized and soft in the morning. It also seems to be excellent for cuticles and nails. Whenever I use it consistently I find that my cuticles are not dry and my nails grow quickly and strong.
I'm sure I will be using this product for years, and this as well as the wonderful foot cream makes me very enthusiastic about trying Ahava's products for the face.

Best hand cream. This stuff sinks in immediately, is non-greasy and super moisturizing. I have extremely dry skin and this stuff is a god send. Makes hands silky smooth.

I hate to be the minority, but I have to, since I had great hopes for this cream which turned out to be an ordinary product. Instead of this, give a try to the handcreams of Biotherm or Sally Hansen.

This is my HG handcream, i even like the smell! So does the people at work, when they see it standing on my desk they suddenly get dry hands and need to borrow a little of it :-) This cream is a bit expensive, but i find that one tube lasts for a long time.

I love these Ahava hand creams they are smooth...the smell of the lotion isn't great but not bad either. It's pretty expensive..but I usually buy them when i travel to Israel so it comes out cheaper that way.

Fabulous, one of the best hand creams out there, cant think of a better one actually? Kind of pricey, I use a lot of lotion no matter what, but boy will you get silky hands from this stuff. Also very healing, makes my occasional stress induced eczema disappear. Awesome for burns too!!! Love it!
