This was my first MAC product, back in 2008, and I've been faithful ever since. The actual color, which is a dark plum, almost matches my lips perfectly. And the shine and sparkles are such a bonus. It's a simple and sophisticated look, I think. It's my go-to color for weddings or dates. It's definitely sexy.

I like this color on my NC45 complexion. I don't think it's a true color match to the VivaGlam VI lipstick. I find the lipstick to be a deep plum brown and the gloss is more in the warm pink family rather than plum brown. As such, this gloss is good to use when you want to tone down the darker VI lipstick. I also like the gloss alone, a very nice pink on moderately pigmented lips. It's a nice natural look on my complexion. I wear it with a plum brown lip liner. My only 2 complaints are the sparkle and the sponge applicator which is annoying. But I'd definitely would buy this product again.

LOVE this gloss - such a pretty color that goes well with all skin tones. Super shiny and sparkly... awesome alone or over other lip products.

This is a very sparkly sheer plum that leans slightly cool-toned on me (NC30). It gives my pigmented lips only a slight tint of color, which isn't bad. But I can't wear this to work because of all the glitter. I bought this for a formal event - it is a nice alternative to nude lips for pairing with smokey eyes. I wouldn't repurchase because it is too glittery for me.

I think that this is my favorite lipglass ever! The color is a pretty sparkly nudey color on me. It enhances whatever color it is paired with. I pair it with Currant liner and it's hg for me. I also tried it over Viva Glam V lipstick with Hodgpodge liner and I'm so in love! It gave me a pretty nude lip with a bit of pop. LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS LIPGLASS! :)

This extremely sparkling lipgloss is perfect for my lips. I feel like i can wear this with many looks and it wont clash. Its a shimmering Berry color that meshes well with my coloring of NC 30. I love the stickyness of lipglasses, and this lasts around 2 hours before I have to apply again. The packaging is perfect for my pocket and is standard black top tube with a doe foot wand. I love this lipgloss! I'm on my second tube..i do believe it is sort of a darker-shade but its not deep, its just a rosy pink. I have a darker skin tone, so i love it on me! It is my all time favorite, lots of glitter- but i like it...i'm not one to shy away from the shimmer! :) I really hope it doesn't get discontinued!

I got talked into this by the MA and it looked okay in the store but after a few wears, I am not in love with it. I am a NC 43-44/BB Golden. I got this to go with the Viva Glam VI lipstick which I love. It goes okay with it, but I I agree that there is too much glitter in it which is why I don't usually wear it alone. Additionally, you have to be careful with the application and use it sparingingly becasue the glitter has a tendency to stick to your skin and be difficult to remove. Just not a good formula at all- a big disappointment!
I definitely won't be buying this again. I also wish MAC would use a brush applicater for their glosses, like that have with the lustreglass line, instead of the wand with the sponge at the end. That would improve application immensely.

This color is slightly pink with a hint of shimmer. It really makes my lips pop and its very versatile, because it can easily go from day to night. If I had to change anything it would be that, I wish it would last longer. However, the quality is still good. I am on my 4th bottle and will continue to buy.

My absolute favorite go-to for my NC/NW40 and up clients! This lipgloss can be worn alone for a day look, toned down with Chestnut or Hodgepodge lipliner, or dressed up with Nightmoth (#1 fav combo), Vino or Currant lipliner.
My favorite way to do this gloss is to slick on the gloss 1st, then line the lips and fill in the corners with Nightmoth lipliner. It gives a beautifully dimensional look.
I would HIGHLY recommend this to anyone, even those with lighter skintones. Will keep in my kit as long as MAC makes it.

When I first received this from a swapper, I thought "this is too dark for me" wrong! I love this color so much, I think it compliments my skin tone & lips. The color is like a toned down berry, which I love! Not too bold, you can pair with almost anything! So this is a very versatile lip product. This has microshimmer which is multicolored. & since different variations come out with this, I wouldn't be purchasing the same one, unless I found someone selling/swapping it again :) Try it! This is a greatly popular lip gloss, and for a good reason. It's a shiny, sparkly mid-tone pink that suits absolutely every skintone. There's no way this will ever look ashy/too warm/too cool/too light/too dark on you; no matter your complexion, it will always look fabulous. Some find the glitter it contains a little overpowering, but I believe that depends on personal preference, and let's be honest, when you walk into a Mac store looking for a lip gloss you know what you're getting into - it ain't gonna be matte. This looks stunning paired with heavy smoky eyes as well as simpler, neutral looks. There was a time when I used it every single day and with each swipe I couldn't help but admire its gorgeous, versatile, universal nature. Highly recommended. Currently going through a phase where pink is the last shade I'd wear, but once I get back to not being as picky, I'll repurchase.

This is perfect for caramel skin tone ladies who love that pinkish mauve look. It is a go to lipgloss for me. I feel done up just with jeans t shirt and this gloss.

I just brought this yesterrday , i Love this lip gloss its dosent have much of a tint to it , and great to wear alone . i hope it dosent discontinue . and when purchasing it , funds go towards AIDS foundation :)

Wonderful fantastical amazing lip gloss. It's smooth, not very sticky, and has great pigmentation. I like putting Minted Rose Salve under this to keep the application even smoother. It looks a bit deep and sparkly in the tube, but comes out shiny, not glittery, and with a nice flushed pink color. Highly recommended!

Had it not been for Annie at the MAC counter slapping this on me during a consult, it would've been overlooked for eternity by me. Appearing very dark in the tube, it can be a little intimidating for someone who was (at the time) a newbie to deep lip colours. But I'm thrilled it was forced on me, because it is my all time favorite lipglass. It's a universally beautiful berry-pink shade with glitter (which I'm usually not a fan of) that I think anyone could pull off. Everyone needs this colour in their collection, and the proceeds go to charity as an added bonus. Best $14 I've spent on a lipgloss.
