IT WORKS FOR ME!
Well, I don't know why but I have read too many negative comments about this product only on this website. Personally, It works really well on me!
I'm Asian, 21 years old. I don't have fine lines or puffy eyes. But I do have dark circles underneath my eyes (we all have it, don't we? :D). It's kinda large area so I gotta use concealer a lot and been trying many many products but they didn't do anything at all. I used to think I should give up and stick around with these concealer whenever I go out.
Since yesterday, I was wandering around Target and saw this little guy. The package looks really nice but the price was only around $12 dollars, and there was only one jar left on the stand so I took it. I simply thought I was going to buy this just to moisturize the area around my eyes before I go to bed. It's not heavy at all, super creamy and a little bit glittering. I felt really comfortable with it like I wanna put it on all the time when I'm home (or when I'm going to bed and have no makeup on).
And guess what? I never thought it's more than I have expected. I only used it for 2 days (twice a day) and my dark circle under the right eye completely gone! The other one still there so I think I would use this for a week more to see what happen. You might not believe me but it's true. OMG, I gotta say I love this product! It's like I've just spent more than a hundred to buy LANCÔME stuff - the only skincare brand that I believe in! You should try this girls! Honestly, all you have to do is just try to put these on around your eyes like three times a day. I know we all have different skin types so you gotta be patient too!

Not a good product for me. Maybe it's because I am sensitive to some ingredients. Not only that it stings my eyes, the day after application I get bumps (milia) under my eyes....Will definitely not repurchase.

INGREDIENTS [as printed exactly on the box]: Aqua (Water, Eau), Glycerin, Caprylic/capric triglyceride, Cetyl alcohol, Dimethicone, Mica, Glyceryl stearate, Vitis vinifera (Grape, Raisin) seed oil, Panax ginseng root extract, Phenoxyethanol, Carbomer, Methylparaben, Potassium hydroxide, Butylparaben, Ethylparaben, Propylparaben, Isobutylparaben, Tetrasodium EDTA, Maltodextrin, Silica, Cl 77891 (Titanium dioxide, Dioxyde de titane).

I've just finished an entire jar of this eye cream last week. The little glass pot costs about $14 at Target, contains 25 ml (0.84 fl.oz.) and lasted me just shy of 3 months applying twice per day, AM & PM. I'm 28 yrs old and don't have any fine lines around my eyes yet (when I smile there are 'lines' at the outer corners, but they disappear completely when my face is relaxed). What I tend to look for in an eye cream is a product that will comfortably & effectively hydrate all day (or all night) long, be wearable under my makeup, and not cost me a small fortune. When I first opened the jar, I was really surprised at the texture. This is NOT a heavy cream, rather it's extremely light and fluffy – almost what I'd describe as whipped. There is no fragrance (no added scents that is; there is a 'natural' smell from the ingredients, which I find neutral/barely detectable). There is also a distinct opalescent sheen (due to the addition of mica); did not expect that, but personally it didn't bother me and actually made my under eye area look brightened and naturally highlighted, so it was fine (it's difficult to even notice it once the product is applied on skin, unless you get very close and look carefully). No, this eye cream did nothing special, but then again I wasn't expecting it to; for what I needed/wanted, it was satisfactory. And I did not experience the stinging or burning that many others seemed to have, but then again everyone's skin is so different. I'm a contact lens wearer, and I have semi-sensitive/reactive skin, and this product did not aggravate my skin in any manner whatsoever. It didn't feel sticky, and it absorbed wonderfully/sat very well (invisibly) under my concealer. I will say that I might like to buy this one again and designate it for daytime use only, because I quite like the light reflective properties and brightening effect (which is obviously unnecessary for overnight); however, I probably won't be repurchasing it in the near future, simply because I love to try new eye creams; I've just ordered the Devita Natural Reviatilzing Eye Lift Cream from Vitacost and the ingredients in that one look awesome, so be on the lookout in a few months' time for a review on that one ;-) Overall, in my opinion and experience, this eye cream is very lightweight, moisturizing, contains a couple of great antioxidants (grape seed oil, ginseng root extract), and it's affordable. I'm glad I tried this one – liked it, just didn't love it. continued >>

I absolutely hated this eye cream. I've tried a whole lot of high end and drugstore products, but this one is by far the worst. It is too light (gel texture), and isn't moisturizing. On top of that, it stings when I put it on my eye area. I want to finish using up the bottle, but not on my face. Maybe I'll use it on my legs since it has right reflecting particles that makes the cream sparkle.

I love this stuff. My concealer goes on so well with it and it isn't overwhelming. It isn't greasy and isn't perfumed like other products I've tried before.

Finding an eye cream that has a nice texture, SPF and light reflecting properties, that reduces dark circles and puffiness, and works under a concealer is almost a mission impossible. And no, this eye-cream does not meet many of those criteria. However, I do like its texture. It definitely has a tingling sensation, but after I while you get used to it. It is still a bit puzzling to me why they made an eye-cream that must be rinsed off immediately if it gets into your eyes.

I like this eye cream, don't love it though, and it's only really good to use during the day. It's not very heavy so if you don't need LOTS of moisture this will be good. It had a kins of irredescence to it, some shimmers, but nothing too much and it doesn't show up under makeup. It didn't really burn, at first I found it a little bit of an odd feeling, but I haven't had it since the first time i've used it. It smells just fine (considering i'm super sensitive to smells this is good). The texture is definately odd and surprising. It's a very thin cream... almost liquidy in a way... hard to describe. Anyways, I don't mind it and I would buy it again if it was on sale.

WOW, I HATED this cream. I was excited to try it because of some of the good reviews here, especially since it was pretty cheap. Just like the reviewer below me said this stuff BURNS! When I got it i only put a small dot on my skin and it burned immediately so I quickly washed it off. When i woke up the next morning I had a dry patch of skin where I applied the cream! I'm going to return this and try the yes to carrots eye cream.

It seems I am not alone with my review: IT BURNS! I had high hopes for this, but I put it on and it stung and burned like crazy - not what you would expect from an eye cream.
If you have sensitive skin STAY AWAY!

I think people are generally too picky when it comes to eye creams, expecting them to perform miracles when, if you've tried your share of eye creams know even the best don't perform magic. They can add ingredients to try to reduce puffiness, or light diffusing particles to blur dark circles, for 'fill' up wrinkles temporarily, but what they're mainly meant for is an additional layer of moisture for that much needed delicate thin eye area that's prone to wrinkles. That's why the key to eye cream is to start early, and be conscientious in applying it, even if you don't notice a difference right away.
...With that being said...this is a very good eye cream. I chose this because Boots is a respectable brand, and the ingredients are natural in this eye cream. It's light when applied, not sticky, nor tacky, but feels hydrated. Also, for those looking to get rid of dark circles, I do feel like the tiny light diffusing particles in this make my dark circles appear less noticeable and my eyes brighter.
It doesn't make me break out, or get bumps, and I feel like this huge bottle will last me forever.

I like how this eye cream reduces my dark circles under my eyes and how cheap it is. I don't like the texture of it though (it's very watery, not light-creamy like I prefer my eye treatment to be). It has a sparkly sheen to it, but this doesn't really make a difference to me as I cover it up with concealer anyway. I will not buy this again - I will stick to my favorite All About Eyes from Clinique.

This product didn't moisturize my eyes very much. After using this product for a year, I still really can't tell what it has done for the skin around my eyes, besides giving it a stingy sensation. Yes , it burns.
The only great thing about this product is its price, if it really moisturizes, which I can't see with my eyes.
Since I already purchased it, I feel obligated to finish this product. But wouldn't recommend purchasing this product.

I am always looking for a better eye cream; what woman over 30 isn't? I have been disappointed with high-end creams which don't do much, so I decided to try this one. It is a simple formulation which contains the much-vaunted grapeseed oil. It does not feel greasy but is moisturizing. I use it at night, and have been impressed with the job it is doing. I suffer from seasonal allergies so I do not expect dark circles to disappear but I notice a definite decrease in puffiness. For the price it is a great value and I will re-purchase it (and dump the high-end stuff). I marked it down a lippie because it comes in a jar and I do not like the idea of all of the air exposure each night. I use such a small amount that this jar will easily last 6 to 8 months, so a more airtight package could be offered. I'd be willing to pay more for it.

I had high hopes for this product after seeing some good reviews on here, but this burns the skin under my eyes everytime I put in on after I wash my face. And it isn't my face wash becaue that's Cetaphil. Maybe I just have sensitive eyes, but this gets a thumbs down from me.
Update: I think it must have been my face cleanser or something. Maybe I was still using some clearasil wash under my eyes. Now I'm washing with cetaphil under my eyes and tea tree oil soap for the rest of my face and this eye cream isn't burning anymore. I use this as a base before my concealer, and before I go the bed at night. i think it might have even faded my dark circles a bit!!

I love this eye cream. I love the feel of it and the very, very subtle light-diffusing sheen. I find it very soothing (no burning whatsoever) and hydrating. Someone mentioned the packaging as being pump style. It is not. It is a jar, and it lasts forever. I just bought my second one, and I can't even remember how long ago I bought my first one. An exceptional product that I hope the company never discontinues.

i bought this product after i read the reviews on MUA. but i'm very disappointed! it burns when i put it on! i thought it was just because my skin is not used to it, so i tried it for 3 days... it continues to burn my eyes! also, i really don't like the texture of this product. it's not smooth at all. i feel it's not absorbing. and it leaves a pinkish colour on my skin. really don't like this!

This is great value and I chucked out my clinique eye cream in favour of this. It's a light yet moisturising cream, refreshing to use and has a slight pearly/light reflective quality. My eyes are sensitive but if some of this seeps into my eye area I don't get a reaction. I've gone from barely bothering with eye cream to using this everyday. Will buy again.

I have been using this Botanics eye cream for about 8 months total. First of all I am in my early 40's and deal with hormonal skin. I am very lucky that I never had any problems with my eye area since my teens. I don't deal with any excessive dryness, but I do have dark circles which show up when I don't get enough sleep. I'm very lucky that I am only starting to deal with fine lines (only when I smile). Any product that contains any strong anti-aging ingedients, my eye area becomes irritated and its not worth the hassle. What I am looking for is a simple moisturizing eye cream. This works great for me! It is a light gel-like consistency that looks like it is slightly shimmery. It blends into my skin easily and does not interfere with my eye-makeup. I love that I don't have to use any heavy cream concealer. All I use is a mineral powder concealer when my dark circles decide to show up. Yay Boots!!! The only problem is that my local Target is always selling out of the Boots line, so I'm learning to stock up.

I bought this product based on the great reviews on MUA, even though I don't know much about the brand. It was pretty cheap compared to the Olay and L'Oreal eye creams at Target. Anyway, as soon as i put it on, the skin around my eyes began to sting really bad. I had to hurry and wipe off the product before it got into my eyes. I might have put too much on or maybe my skin is just too sensitive for this product. I'll try putting on a little less and update then.
EDIT: This porduct kept burning my eyes so I returned it. I'd rather spend a little more for something that won't burn!
