This is my favourite moisturizer! I bought it during the summer because I tend to get sunburned easily and this looked like a high quality moisturizer with SPF 15. Now, I can't get enough!! it's my HG :)

This moisturizer is one of the worst I have tried in a while. Don't get it if you skin is dry and sensitive. The scent is just aweful and can never be good for a sensitive skin. This does not moisturize your skin enough as my skin still feels dry and tight after I have slathered on quite a bit of it. The name 'HYDRAFRESH' should not be a synonym with this moisturizer. I give it a thumbs down.

I have dry and sensitive skin and this works really well for me. It doesn't say it has SPF in it though. I really love the smell of it and it leaves my skin well mousturized with a nice healthy shine

I bought this the other day to try it, but I was unhappy with it. It left my skin dry and tight. I have very dry skin and this did not work for me. Will not re-purchase!

This review is for the pink Hydrafresh "moisture gel" without SPF, for normal to dry skin. Although it claims to be a "gel," it is really a smooth, buttery skin cream.
I can't get Dove skincare around here, so I thought this would be a good substitute for Dove's night cream with shea butter, because shea butter and apricot kernel oil are listed at the top of the ingredients list.
My normal skin gets shiny in the T-zone because I live in a hot, humid climate. However, thanks to spending all day in an air-conditioned office, it gets pretty dehydrated too. The Hydrafresh will primarily be used as a night cream, as it has a texture that doesn't absorb quickly enough to use under foundation. The cream imparts a dewy, moist look, but not in a silicone-y, greasy sort of way. Just healthy and dewy, like the way my skin looks after an aromatherapy facial.
There is definitely a very dominant, lingering fragrance, so sensitive skins beware. My skin can take quite a pummeling so the scent is not an issue for me.
Price-wise, I don't think this is a good deal at all. Definitely priced higher than I think it's worth. Also, I am not a fan of the heavy glass jar with screw top. Dove's is cheaper and has less clunky packaging.

This is so awesome.. the way I tried this.. get this.. it was on sale at Ike's for $1 dollar! And it is really good stuff!! $1 I can't believe it, my Mom is wanting to stock up on it since it's so ridiculously cheap!! It smells wonderful, absorbs quickly with no greasiness, and gives skin a healthy finish! Hooray for great deals on great products!!

I love this moisturizer! I use green in summer and pink in the winter. Even though I have acne-prone skin, the one for dry skin(pink) does not make me break out!
The smell revitalises me when i am feeling tired! A definate HG for me!

So far so good, I baught the gel-creme today. Mine doesn't have SPF tho.. It feels hydrating enough, makes my skin feel smooth, and I definitely like the scent, its not powerful at all. The only thing we'll have to wait and see if I break out. I'll update!

UPDate: Ok, I wanted to like this, but before I could even wait long enough to see if it broke me out I hate it for a different reason! SHINE! It makes your fake sticky! AND SHINY! as if you just stepped out of a sauna! Its gross! Its definitely going back to the store as soon as I go! Don't buy this unless you like your face to be reflective!

I have very good memories with this moisturizer. It is the first moisturizer that I have ever used that didn't make my skin feel like it was suffocating. It didnt feel like a blanket on my skin, just pure moisture. It's not heavy at all, even though its for dry skin, and absorbed instantly. Also, a big plus for the fresh scent. After 2 years with Hydrafresh, I started breaking out in college (b/c of hormones?) and had to switch over to something else. However, I still consider Hydrafresh the best moisturizer I have ever used (green for summer, pink for winter, like many other reviewers). It is perfect if you have behaving skin and just need moisture.

This is actually the best drugstore moisturiser I have ever used. I used to use both green&pink.(green for spring/summer and pink for fall/winter) I have combo skin but the pink formula is perfect for drier months. Easily absorbed and kept my skin feeling nourished. It has never broken me out ever. I will definitely recommend this to everyone. continued >>

This product worked well for me. (I have the green cream...I've never seen the pink one.) I first applied it during the winter months when my face was VERY flaky. The next day, my face wasn't dry at all! It worked amazingly well, and has been working ever since. No complaints!

Not sure if I have the right product (pink lotion in a jar), but if this is it, it is the weirdest thing I've ever put on my face! It leaves my face shiny, sticky, and mask-like. I don't need or want that much fragrance on my face-not sure how that can be good for your skin.
Not sure what this product is trying to do, but it's not anything I'd ever buy again!

If you are in the market for a cheaper moisturizer, this does it! It smells really weird in the bottle, but after applied it has a nice citrus scent. It makes my skin look great when I put it on before my foundation.

i don't like the new packaging as much, but it is the same wonderful product. i've gone through at least half a dozen or more of these jars, and always have one as back up as soon as i start running low. the moisturizer smells wonderful to me, light and sort of fruity, and instantly softens my skin. i've used this for the last three or four years and it has never broken me out. the only thing i can complain about is that it is not strong enough for my winter flakies. love this and am terrified they'll discontinue it. definitely a HG.

This smells SO bad. I don't really think I would ever get this. I put it on my skin and it just sat there as a greasy smelly layer. Didn't do anything. Gross

This has HG written all over it! I need some sun protection here in FL, but I can't stand SPF in moisturizers b/c of the smell. But this smells really good! It feels so refreshing after a shower, it's non-comogenic, and I love feeling safe from the sun's harmful rays.

This is the world's loveliest drugstore moisturizer. I use and love both kinds of this product (green and pink), as it is my all-time favorite Holy Grail daytime product. I would give this product 10 lippies if i could! The "new" Dermo-Expertise version (in the white box) is the same wonderful product, just a different look, and as long as the product is the same then thats what matters! I LOVE this product and rave about it to everyone who comes to me looking for a moisturizer. I have never had problems with breakouts, clogged pores etc. while using either of the Hydrafresh moisturizers, they are so light and gel-based and sink into the skin almost on contact while never leaving you feeling at all dry. I use the green one in summer and the pink one in winter. Its also the only moisturizer with SPF that does not cause me irritation or other problems, and unlike other moisturizers it doesnt leave that feeling of having a slick stuffy layer on your face - i hated the feeling of wearing moisturizers before i tried this one! Truly unique, it does feel very light and fresh. I love the gel-based texture and the light, citrusy fragrance so much that if they sold just the fragrance as a perfume i would definitely buy it! I would never be without this WONDERFUL moisturizer. I would pay department store prices for this drugstore gem! I love it, love it, LOVE it.

GREAT PRODUCT. Light, yet very moisturizing to keep skin feeling plump. Upon applying at first a bit sticky but quickly goes away as the gel-creme soon sinks into the skin. It is light enough that I can use apply a layer of this under my sunscreen without feeling like I have too much stuff on my face. This is almost identical to Chanel's hydramax oil-free gel, but at a small fraction of the price. GREAT PRODUCT.

Has a nice cool feeling when applied to the skin. The scent is pleasant, not harsh, sort of citrusy. It gives my face a dewy, non-greasy look which I love. And I never need to re-apply.
