I like it I don't love it. Although I am an Aveda fan, I don't fancy their brushes too much. On the plus side, they are environmentally friendly as well as Taklon so no animal hair is used, on the other, this brush tends to miss important points. One of them tends to be that it is missing shorter, denser fibers to allow more even dusting of powder. The bristles tend to be a little too long and floppy and don't distribute product well. I'd either spend just as much for a MAC brush, for stick with my ELF or Sonia Kashuck

I got the whole set of Aveda brushes as part of my kit for Esthetician school. For the most part, they are quality brushes, but I don't like them. The powder brush, #10, has Taklon bristles and the handle is made of recycled material and flax. The bristles don't fall out, but the brush is more of a flat shape versus domed, and just not fluffy enough for me. A powder brush, in my opinion, should be domed and fluffy so it gently dusts the powder onto the face. I much prefer my Urban Decay powder brush (also Taklon) or even my drugstore Lumene brush to this one.
