I have been using these pads for a month and cannot believe the results! I had really bad acne when i started using this and this has helped clear up my face. I am extremely pleased with this product and would recommend it to anyone struggling with adult acne.

I have been using these for about a month now! I switched from Clinique Acne Solutions. These are much more soothing and less harsh. They smell great and have some what of an exfoliating quality to them. I have medium to extreme acne and they haven't made my face worse, but not really better either. They keep it under control which is what I have come to expect from any acne product. Overall I love Aveda and this product gets a thumbs up, except for the price. They get used up to quickly for 40 dollars and I cut them in half!

These pads feel so soothing and really help treat and prevent breakouts especially the hormonal ones before my period. These are very mild and are not too strong that they irritate and dry out your skin like the neutrogena acne pads which are loaded with alcohol. I've been using this for a few weeks and have had no major breakouts on my chin since using it.

I really like these pads and I wish I could say that the blackheads on my nose are completely gone. I've been using them about three times a week at night for about a month. I do, however, notice that I break out much less and when I do it's very minor acne, a couple of small white heads that clear up in a day. I was told by the esthetician at the Aveda salon where I got a facial that I should only use the pads three times a week. Perhaps I should be using them every other night to see a better result. I'd give anything to get rid of these blackheads and shrink my pores. Although they're good for carrying loose change.

I love these pads! I bought them last week and have been using them every night. I cut them in half after reading some of the reviews on MUA because they are really expensive and you really don't need the entire pad. My face breaks out once or twice a month and since I"ve been using the outer peace line (pads and the lotion) my face has cleared up and feels really clean without being dry. So far I love these products!
I use the pads at night after a gentle cleanser, then I let it dry and put on regular moisturizer (i've been using olay) and my skin has been clear and soft!

I have mild to moderate acne, mostly clogged pores. I ventured into my local Aveda store looking to try their Outer Peace line and I started with a sample size of the foaming cleanser, which I liked since it didn't dry out my sking or aggravate my acne; however, I still needed something to clear my skin. Back I went to Aveda and I asked the salesgirl if she could recommend a product for me and she told me that the Acne Relief pads wer every popular and they would work for me. I used this once a day (at night) for one week, my pores remained clogged and the only difference I was was increased redness and itchy cheeks.

My usually very nice skin (though combination and oily in the T-zone) has recently been breaking out like crazy so I tried the cleanser and acne relief pads from this line. Though I haven't noticed an enormous difference in the presence of my pimples (which I now think are due to stress) - there are less appearing but they're not all gone... Amazingly, the pores on my nose have almost vanished. These are VERY expensive (over 40$ CAD for 50 pads) but the little pads contain a LOT of product and can easily be cut in half (thus doubling the quantity). They are soft and cloth-like but exfoliate nicely. The smell is very herbal (I love it but some may not). I find the solution in these pads a little strong and I only use them every two days otherwise I feel kind of dry in the cheek are. Overall this is a good product.

I can't say enough good things about this product!! I started using the Outer Peace line a few months ago. I am pregnant and my skin went bonkers! The doctor approved me using this line, even though some say steer clear of Salicylic Acid. Over the counter products do not have enough SA to do any damage to my baby :)
Anyways, I use the OUter Peace pads after I wash my face. They are made of a nice material, that exfoliates well without ripping your skin apart. The smell is nice also...very fresh!
I stopped using these for a few weeks because I ran out. Well, my skin freaked out again! With being pregnant, my skin is super oily and I started to notice little bumps along my cheekbones and forehead. I was using DDF 10% tonic but that was not cutting it. I re-purchased my Aveda pads three days ago. I have been using them twice a day since then and my skin is once again smooth!!
I use this along with Garnier Detoxifying Cleanser, Outer peace Acne Relief Lotion and the Outer Peace Spot Treatment, when needed.
Its a little pricey at $30 for 50 pads...but for me, it is WELL worth it!!!

I used these pas on my 13 year old son's face when he first started breaking out, they seemed to fix the problem within weeks. They are expensive in Australia at $54.00 for 50 pads. I split them in half and got 100 pads out of the tub. Like most Aveda products they also smell great.
Would recommend.

I think these are a good value for the people who see positive results.
I used two jars of these pads without seeing any positive results. (I used the entire Outer line.) I experienced a temporary bought of redness after using it most days.

I really enjoy these pads. I used to work for Trish McEvoy, and used her Beta Hydroxy pads for a couple of years, and always loved them, but didn't love the price. With these guys you get 50 for 30$, a BARGAIN IMO. I love that these have gentle plant essential oils in them (won't clog pores, as they are water soluble) and are very gentle, yet effective. They don't contain a high level of salicylic, which is GREAT considering SA can be very drying. I use these AM, with my Murad Clear Cleanser, then these, Kinerase's Brightening Serum, and then wither Kinerase's Clear light moisture (oily day) or Aveeno's Clear Complexion Mositruiser (dryer day).
The only thing I hate, and this is with all pads, is I wish they would find a way to keep them nice and moist longer. This may sound gross, but I wish these weren't pads as much as wipes, and maybe use a baby wipe thread through the lid system.

I was so hopeful that this product would work for me, but it was horrible! I broke out in cystic acne and looked worse than I did before I started using the stuff! Why do they put oil in the product if it's meant for acne-prone people? I was so disappointed in this product and the whole Outer Peace line...Aveda's hair care is much better!

Byebye blackheads! I've had blackheads on my nose for as long as I can remember and once I started using these, they were ALL gone. I rarely get a zit now, and when I do, they're gone quickly and without scar. This stuff is wonderful!
I use the whole Outer Peace line (love it love it love it) and I use these pads at night rather than in the morning.

I enjoy using this product as it DOESN'T strip my skin dry. They seem to help with preventing and treating breakouts. I'm sure it would help more if I used my products on a regular basis, though!
P.S. Cut them in half - you don't need a whole pad for your face at one time. It will last you twice as long!

I love Aveda products, but not these pads. At first I was a little wary of using this because it has alcohol listed as its second ingredient, and alcohol is a known skin irritant. Needless to say, after using it for the first time my face burned and was left red and irritated. I guess these pads aren't for those with sensitive, acne prone skin like mine.

This product has done wonders for my face. i've had a lot of blackheads in my t-zone for a very, very long time and these pads have definately helped decrease the number of them. it also keeps my face soft and not dry (like it usually gets in the winter. i have also had fewer breakouts since using this product as well.

surprisingly and unfortunately, the outer peace line made my skin break out more. aveda claims it has a 92% success rate, but i must be one of the unlucky 8%.

My skin was beginning to break out and this has truly saved my skin! This entire line is a huge hg. I can't say enough about Aveda products and the Ambiance spa, my skin, hair, and nails glow! LThis line of products is expecially amazing. LOVE this line! Try it if you've been having any acne at all. Your skin will purge at first and be incredibly oily with breakouts, but after the purge, all you get is clear, radiant skin! Also, if you have the funds, it's totally worth it to get a series of the facials to use with this line. Ambiance now also offers Outer peace facials instead of the spa facial with outer peace products and let me tell you, the outer peace facial is 100% better than the spa facial with products. This will save your skin!
