I like this. Fresh texture, not too light or too heavy for my combo-dry skin. My skin feels hydrated and rested use. I thought Chanel's Whitening (Blanc Essentiel) range was pretty effective but Guerlain's has exceeded my expectations. After two weeks of using this, in addition to the day moisturizer, my skintone has definitely evened out, looking brighter. I have a bit of pigmentation on both sides of my cheeks, and the pigmentation on my left cheek has faded significantly. The pigmentation on my right cheek has always been more prominent but now has been visibly reduced. My complaints: the fragrance that you’d normally associate with French cosmetics – strong; very pricey, it’s not Orchidée Impériale but still! The day moisturizer was about RM20 more than what I paid for Chanel so I had assumed it would be the same or so for the Night Crème. Was shocked to see it past RM330 or so (can’t exactly remember), much higher than Chanel’s (RM270), and for only 1 oz (vs Chanel’s 1.7oz)! This is partly due to the nice packaging - comes in a lovely, sturdy jar and a nice transparent spatula, (vs Chanel’s plastic packaging), so there’s that bit of luxury and the feeling that you’re pampering yourself (but really I'd rather pay less for more - sigh!). Some of the ingredients listed: Water, Squalene, Magnesium, Glycerin, Shea Butter, Yeast Extract, Sunflower Seed Extract, Licorice, Grape Fruit Extract.
