I have been wearing Clinique Long Last lipstick for about 8 years and own 10+ shades. I tried Clinique after realizing that I needed something hypoallergenic, as my lips can become sore and swollen with red bumps. I have never has this problem since switching to Clinique.
Some shades have better staying power than others, but overall, I do need to reapply after a couple of hours and/or after eating. Again, depending on the shade, some are creamier than others. The matte shades [ex.: Berry Berry] have more of a "dry" feel, but not overly so, and I prefer them. I do not like lipstick that goes on feeling greasy in any way. The Long Last line goes on smoothly without any greasy feel. My lips feel moisturized while the lipstick is on. There is no annoying scent either.
I love the brushed metal packaging. I have never had any problems with the cap falling off, the lipstick being tilted in the tube, or any other type of malfunction.
All in all, a great lipstick.

This is the first lipstick I tried and it brought out my love for lipstick! I used to be a lipgloss girl, but now I don't wear it unless I want shiny lips for a special occasion. I love the look of this lip, I have so many colors but I have more of the nuetral colors( I don' t like pinks or reds or anything like that) The only problem I have with this lipstick is that I wish it lasted longer but I have no problem with reappling it, it only takes a few seconds out of my day. Clinique usually has a free gift with purchase deal and often times this lipstick is included and that makes me love this lipstick even more!
I am looking for the name of a discontinued Matte Long Last Clinique lipstick in a Rose Nude Pink shade that was out in 2004 but cannot remember the name of the lipstick. It had great staying power. If anyone knows of the name of this shade email me! Thanks!.
These lipsticks come in some decent colors but really dry my lips out. I also find the scent a little too strong. There are better lipsticks. I prefer NARS.
These are some of the longest serving lipsticks in my collection. They really do last ages and are well pigmented so they almost stain your lips. Fantastic. A little drying but its a small price to pay really. D.xx

I have three of this type of lipstick. I bought them for work when I don't have time to check my makeup and for nights out for the same reason. They do last forever but have a slight tendancy to dry out (it's not so bad with balm underneath). The colors aren't that bad either. A big problem is the packaging. I've gone through a few of these just because they have a tend to break so easily. I wouldn't buy any more of these because I've switched over to sheerer color that I don't mind reapplying (mostly MAC).
