This is the blush of my dream. Blue-based pink which is so good with my neutral-toned skin. I also found that it works perfectly with a little of bronzer on the cheeks and gives a healthy glow and plash of color like it is a natural summer sun-kissed blush on my cheeks.
I generally find that all chanel blushes look different from the color you see in the package when applied to the skin. They somehow adapt to your natural coloring. turbulent does adapt to my fair skin very well.

Every once in a while, a color comes along that makes me wish I had been more discerning in my past 5-lippie reviews. To say that I "love" this color would be inadequate; it's simply the best pink I have ever worn, period. While it looks intimidating in the compact -- it's a true neon, fluorescent pink -- it's not at all harsh on the cheeks, even for my very pale, NW5-10ish (NARS Siberia) complexion. I would even go as far as to say that it's a bit sheer after tapping off the excess, but it could easily be built for more color. It's a very cool pink on the skin, and it leaves a gorgeous glow.
My only complaint is that this shade had to be discontinued -- like Narcisse, and other gorgeous LE colors, it should have been part of the permanent collection and not subject to distinction. I highly recommend it to anyone who can manage to find it!

I can't believe I have not reviewed this yet. I absolutely love the colour. I went from using no blush at all, to what looks like an electrick pink shimmery blush. It is not something I would have ever gravitated towards, except the SA at the Chanel counter had been chatting with me, and convinced me to try it, and when I did, I could not believe how a little blush could just freshen me up. It goes on very delicately, and is very buildable. It has that fresh look that one gets after a nice run, except polished. I love Turbulent.

I finally, finally got my hands on this gorgeous but sadly d/c blush and I was not at all disappointed. I was abit intimidated by the brightness of the color in the palate, and in fact when it is just freshly brushed on my cheeks it can look a tad over the top, but within seconds it almost magically blends into a lovely, natural, just in from the fresh air look. I have a new fav Chanel blush and if your reading this and have the opportunity to try this, I say "go for it!!". Just for your info, I am 45 years old, chanel beige, nc30/35. Other favorite blushes are chanel narcisse, nude and rose petale and GA #10.

amazing BRIGHT bubblegum pink blush. One light swipe and you already have a whole bunch of color, so i use this with my 187 to grab a decent amount since it's soooo easy to get a bit much with thsi great formula.
the pink is such a fun color, definitely for those funky looks but still tasteful (if used with a light hand remember!)

If I could write poetry, I would write an ode to this blush. In the compact, it looks ridiculously bright, but applied lightly (I use MAC 187 brush since I am a super pale PPP) it gives the most incredibly beautiful cool pink glow. It has a similar effect as Narcisse on me but is more pigmented and with no warm tones at all. There is very fine shimmer, but it doesn't look shimmery when applied, just glowy. I ADORE this. It was worth the extra money that I spent getting it because it's discontinued.

Chanel Turbulent is *insanely* pretty!! Whenever I put this on .. it just makes me smile! This is a super bright pink blush that looks almost hot pink in the pan .. but applies more softly and looks so girly on! This is stunning paired with soft pink lips and smokey eyes. Despite how bright it looks, it appears very natural once applied. It wears well and the pigmentation is perfect for this shade of blush .. not too sheer, not too heavy. Absolute *perfection*. I'm so glad I got this one before it sold out! I'm in LOVE with this blush!!

WOW! this blush is beautiful! i was not able to get this because i thought it was not for my skintone, NC25-30. i did not even try this on my chanel counter.
got this on swap and i got surprised when i opened it. US version looks entirely different from the UK version of turbulent. the US version looks neon pink and i really got scared to use it. but then i decided to use this blush and thank God i did! this is the best pink blush i ever used. others said this is similar to NARS Desire. NO, its not!!! i purchased Desire before and used it for less than 3x then swapped it away. it looks fake on me. with turbulent, everything is perfect. it looks natural and very pretty. its true what they say, you can never go wrong with Chanel.

I, for one, personally ADORE this blush. I always buy 2 of limited edition products and glad I did with this one. The product is silky smooth and color, in black mirrored compact, looks neon pink, but it is nothing like that once applied to cheeks. Secret is to use blush brush, with small amount, and blend, blend, blend. If you want more color, reapply. There is nothing garish about this blush, rather, it leaves just a baby soft pinky glow when applied properly (that my Chanel MA taught me). I cannot imagine others compare this to MAC. Totally different formulas.

My first HG blush ever!!! This is a beautiful sweet clean pink that still looks sophisticated and melts in with my LLL cool toned skin to look so natural yet angelic - LOVE! (Yes it deserves caps it is that special :P). Unfortunately it is LE but if you can get your hands on it, definitely do!
Pros:
There are alot of bright pink blushes on the market that are designed to give a similar effect (e.g. NARS desire, also mata hari and angelika/MAC dollymix, sweetness) but what makes turbulent different is the texture and pigment level. What i love about JCs is that they are so easy to work with yet they last all day, melt into your skin and look so natural even if the colour isnt one that one would naturally blush.
They have the perfect amount of pigment. I would say this particular JC is medium - some are more pigmented than others eg. narcisse is on the lighter side whereas rose bronze is on the heavier side. Of course being Chanel another positive feature is the pretty packaging (yes i am a sucker for pretty packaging - i readily admit it :P).
Cons:
Obvious con is the price. But these are so worth it. Also hate how these include a useless brush, it seems like such a waste of space but ah well, i still adore JCs. JCs in general are my HG blushers. You either seem to really truly adore them or just not get "it" :P

Beautiful bright pink blush. Used to be my HG before I discovered NARS Desire Blush. This is a good quality product, but, for the price, you get more with NARS which is basically the same product, but with a softer texture.
I do like the scent of this Chanel blush. It smells like roses, which NARS does not. But, for the price and amount you get, I'd stick with NARS, and opt not to get this one.

*Yay* I finally found a blush that gives me that "baby doll pink" glow! I am NC 30/ CD 030/ Chanel Beige, and I have forever been trying to find a pink blush that would stay true to being pink and not turn to a rosey color on my skintone. I have tried MAC's Dolly Mix and Azalea, and Don't Be Shy, but although they came close to giving me the pink glow I was lemming for, Chanel's Turbulent out won them all. In the pan Turbulent is a shocking vivid pink w/ a subtle scent of rose, but when applied with my MAC 129 brush ( yes, 129, not my 187) the color payoff was FANTASTIC! I didn't need to layer this color as my 129 brush picked up just the right amount of pigment. The color stayed true to being baby doll pink, and it wore all day/night. The packaging is great ( duh...it's Chanel), but the brush is junk as I never use it. Overall, highly recommended.

This is like a neon tea party on your cheeks, and instead of scones and sandwiches, they're serving dolly mixture and fondant fancies.

My holy grail blush. In the pan, Turbulent is a hot fuschia-pink and almost scary. But on the skin it gives the most gorgeous ski-bunny flush. I am quite warm-toned and tan in summer, but for some reason the coolness of Turbulent works will for me. Turbulent is no longer sold at counters, but you can still find it at chanel.com, neimanmarcus.com and bergdorfgoodman.com. Retails for $40 and comes in the usual Chanel velvet bag.

*Pic included at bottom* I second everything glitteringwaves says below. From the color, to how great it looks on, to where I ordered it from. I too am a cool-toned PPP, and this is a beautiful blush for me. I really do love it. It's heavily pigmented but provides a lovely flush. I, too, ordered it from Chanel and received the same samples glitteringwaves received. This is definitely a repurchase, but I believe that it will last for a long, long time before I need to restock.
December 2007 update: I briefly lowered my rating to four lipsticks because I thought it was a little too bright for me compared to pale, lovely Narcisse, which I really love. But I realized I was using a brush that was too dense and provided too heavy of coverage. Now I've been using my NARS Yachiyo brush (GREAT brush) to apply it, and it deposits just the right, light amount of color. So it's back up to the five lipstick rating it deserves! Turbulent gives my cheeks a nice pop of color. It really is lovely. And because it takes SO little product to get the look I like, this blush will last me for years even with regular use. Because it's so pigmented and is not your run-of-the-mill color, I think it's a good value and I'm glad it's part of my collection. 3/2/08 update: I updated my review again to include the picture below. I recently bought MAC Fafi Fashion Frenzy (which I also love) and was comparing it to all similar blushes in my stash (including Turbulent) to see if there were any dupes. So I wanted to include this picture with my Turbulent review as well, as I thought it might be helpful.
Top row: MAC Dame, MAC Pink Swoon, Fafi Fashion Frenzy, NARS Desire, Chanel Turbulent
Bottom row: BB Pink, BB Nectar, Paula Dorf Ballet, PD Playmate, Shu P Pink 30. continued >>

This is a clear shimmery cotton candy pink. This is a cool tone. I don't think this would work on people with warm skin.
This is a gorgeous color. I really love this blush. It looks vivid in the container, but goes on with a sheerness of perfection.
Perfection is worth the price.
I ordered it online from Chanel and they sent a sample of Allure and Inimitable mascara. It came to my door like the next day. Outstanding products and service to Chanel.
Note: I am a NW15.

I have a very fair, cool to neutral -toned skin. Turbulent is an excellent shade for me. It is a very cool bright strong pink which freshens up my look. This shade is very buildable, I use blushes quite lightly and this isn't too bright on me but if I want a more noticeable look I can build up the shade for stronger color.
The rosy scent is a bit too strong.
