Sarasara leaves a very nice matte finish that works well with oilier skin types and underneath makeup. I find this gives me an even better matte finish than Shiseido Ultimate Protection Lotion SPF 55 without drying out my skin. Its thin (almost like water) consistency also feels lighter on the skin, as if I don't have sunscreen on at all. My only complaints are the whitish caste it leaves and the fragrance. Also, don't be alarmed if the sunscreen looks like it has separated or gone bad. It's a suspension and needs to be shaken up before every use. Overall a very nice sunscreen but my HG is Sunkiller Clear Water which, while not as matte, doesn't leave a whitish caste and has no fragrance. Unfortunately, this is only available in Asia. As with Clear Water, I've noticed that Sarasara balls up when applied over another sunscreen. No, I'm not layering my sunscreens. On a few ocassions when I had applied my Olay Sensitive Skin SPF 15 moisturizer in the morning with no intention of going out that day or maybe as a moisturizer and then later decided to apply one of my Japanese sunscreens, it balls up upon contact with the Olay. Strange.
