I bought this on a whim in the first aid section at rite-aid for about $4 to use in conjunction with my facial moisturizer (LRP Anthelios SX SPF 15/cerave cream, or Cetaphil cream). My skin is acne prone (largely hormonal), sensitive, and combo. I use both BHA (stridex pads) & AHA products to control my acne (glycolic toner by reviva, 2.5% BP), so my skin can get pretty dry as a result, especially in the winter. Other oils like avocado and weleda almond broke me out, and I wondered if adding the sweet oil to my jojoba oil might be more moisturizing than the jojoba alone.
I can't comment on its efficacy in comparison to the DHC oil, but so far, it hasn't broken me out and leaves my skin happy and glowing. It sinks in quickly, and has no odor like a regular olive oil does. I transfer all the oils I use on my skin into glass bottles with droppers, and if you purchase this oil I'd recommend doing the same because the packaging isn't designed to dispense small amounts. At the very least, it makes a nice cuticle oil or substitute for olive oil in any masks you may do such as the egg bomb since it's much more refined and moisturizing than regular olive oil. It supposedly aids in the relief of earaches as well. For $4, it's worth trying if your skin is well-suited to oils! Hth continued >>

I agree w/ the prior comment - it works great! Also, the Sweet Oil does not have a 'savory" smell like olive oil. Instead of removing the seal under the cap, I punch a smaller hole and just squeeze out the drops I need. (Don't make the hole too small so that you have to squeeze the bottle - just enough to make the drops come out easy.)

Love this! I use this as my everyday moisturizer. I have tried DHC and this is exactly the same.
Some people say that instead of DHC just use the regular olive oil that you cook with--yes it is the same thing, olive oil, but this stuff (including DHC) is more refined or something (I read about it somewhere and the droplets/spheres or whatever are smaller and therefore more readily absorbed into your skin.) If you try regular olive oil for cooking/salads and then this, you will notice the difference.
I use this even during my TOM and it doesn't break me out at all and doesn't sit on top of my skin. This is less than $3 in drugstores (found near the first aid stuff, not in the cosmetics section) and I poured it in my DHC bottle. DHC = $36 for 1 oz Sweet Oil = <$3 for 2 oz. continued >>
