I accidently spotted this at pharmaprix on sale for $2.99. I was intrigued since I'm always on the look out for cleansers with dual action. It contains 1% Salicylic acid acid and Sodium Laural sulphate. This comes in a cheap looking,flip top spout,blue sweeze bottle. I was put off by the packaging but I decided to give it a try. The cleanser comes out a light blue gel texture with blue microbeads,reminds me of noxema's exfoliating wash version and it smells strongly of chemicals. On my face, I microbeads were not scratchy but i felt that there wasn't enough beads. I would have liked the texture to be that of Proactive cleasner. Dispite all this, my skin felt soft and clean. it didn't remove eye m/u very well but that didn't bother me. After using this for a week, I am impressed. It didn't leave my skin dry and tight nor did it give me any breakouts. I tried a variety of exfoliating cleansers from Biotherm, Noxema, OoO etc.. and none agreed with my acne-prone,sensitive,combo skin. So far, this cleasner actually helped me from breaking out.but then again, could it be because I use Life brand Enzyme peel every 2cd night?mmmmmm...
