FAB. the smaller pan is a shimmery medium teal. the larger is a shimmery slightly golden yellow with some tiny flecks of gold sparkle. both are fantastic as far as pigment, texture, and staying power! awesome! cool PPP skintone, brown hair and eyes.
Shiseido eye shdaows do not get much fodder on the boards, however they are incredible little gems that are not to be overlooked! (Fellow MUAer Jojoba has very extensive Shiseido e/s reviews in her profile, big thanks to her for peaking my interest)
S14 Glistening Patina consists of a larger side of a medium yellow-gold (almost maize colored) with fine gold shimmer particles. The smaller side is a deep turquoise color that could almost be described as "dirty" or "warm". It is more blue than green, but not vibrant or pale like an aqua. Almost like a smokey turquoise. This duo would work great on warmer toned complexions.
I like the concept of the duos in that the lighter base or wash shade is almost twice the size of the darker crease/outer-v shade. I did however take one lippy off for packaging as i feel the packaging is bulky and has some wasted space.
The texture of this shadow is incredibly smooth, silky, richly pigmented and very easy to blend. These shadows are soft, but not so soft that there is fallout under your lashline when applying.
Overall a gorgeous eyeshadow duo, excellent quality and a definite repurchase. For reference, I am a warm, PPP, redhead with blue-green eyes.
