This is a light, refreshing, non-pore clogging moisturizer that is great for oily skin that needs a boost or normal skin that needs just a little moisture. Smells slightly cucumbery, applies fast and dries quickly. Looks great under makeup too.

Another Bobbi Brown product I couldn't live without. I use the BB purifying gel cleanser, then the soothing tonic, then the SPF 15moisturizer, and this on top. At the end of that process my skin is so silky that you would have thought I had a facial. Keeps my complexion perfect all day long.

No shine control here for my oily, sensitive skin. Tried in the areas that always need blotting thru the day. Love so many of the BB products, but try a sample before buying the full size.

Overall i love this product, i have a oily skin, make up never stay long on my face, with this product, my make up does stay longer, and i did not need to touch up so often as b4, would recommend for a try especially those staying in a hot weather like me from malaysia * update * um..seem like not many would agree with me in bout this product. Well, a little explanation; for me if my face can stay shine free for at least 2 hours it will be very good. Perhaps it is also the sequence i apply my skin care that make this prod. works for me. I wash and tone my face, follow by my SK2 Essence, Whitening Source, wait for 3-5 mins b4 i put on Shine Control. leave it for another 3-5 min , let it completely absorb, only then i will put on my BB oil free foundation.. so ta-la it works !!!

It is a lightweight moisturizer that dry to a matte finish. That's all. It doesn't control shine!

Guess I am in a minority here, but I like it. I use it at night before I apply makeup and it primes my skin nicely. I don't want any real moisture, just a bit of a seal and a matte finish. I use it during the day sometimes under a tinted moisturizer with a sunscreen and it helps it stay put. It is not really appropriate for a day moisturzier because of the lack of sunscreen, and it is not a true mattifier product (like, say, Makeup Forever STOP Shining). It is just a ultra-light moisturizer that leaves your face dry. Like it and the price seems fine to me.

I'm on the fence w/ this product. On one hand it does control shine, but not as long as I like. NARS Primer seems to do it a bit better. The hydration does not really occur, especially if you have just taken a shower and then applied to a clean face. I still felt dry and tight. It does mattify. Unfortunately, I would not be repurchasing this product b/c it is not worth the price I paid for it. Bobbi Brown is great for make-up, but I don't think I'll use the skin care line. Overall this has taught me to test first then buy, not just buying on confidence w/ the brand name.Update 05.05.03: Now that I'm getting used to this product, it really does seem to be working better, but I still get a little shiny. continued >>

This product is such a joke! It doesn't do anything that it claims. My face was still shiney and oily. It is just crap in a dispenser! I do not recommend wasting your money on it!
