I really wanted to like this product. After all, it matches my AG collection nicely. And I thought since I love the Genereuse, then the Nuit should be its perfect partner and should turn out wholly perfect skin. Sorry, even after 2 weeks of going religiously through the samples, it didn't work out that way for me. This cream left me flaky and dry when I woke up in the morning. I first I thought it was something else but, by process of elimination, the Nuit was a culprit. Needless to say, my unopened full sized purchase went right back to the store.

This is the night cream version of Creme Splendide. The manufacturers packaging insert states: "As an intense night skincare product that is hydrating and anti-aging, splendide night cream soothes and repairs the skin from external aggressions of the day. The combination of the Active Rose Sap with Mimosa Tenuiflora, known as the "skincare tree"(with moisturizing and anti-radical actions) and with black currant bud extract (known for it's powderful anti-aging properties) gives to this smooth cream it's powerful restorative action. As a restorative cream, it prevents anti-aging and fights the formation of lines and wrinkles. Apply at night on perfectly cleansed face and neck." Well, lofty claims aside, I really like this purely because it smells wonderful and plumps my skin up wonderfully. This is a really great night cream, it's not greasy but it definitely hydrates effectively. My skin feels so soft and I wake up with beautifully hydrated, non-puffy skin. Note to Annick Goutal copy writers....to say that your cream "prevents anti-aging" is basically saying that your product does nothing to prevent wrinkles isn't it?? LOL!! Hmmm. This is a really lovely luxury cream that is not a neccessity but wonderful to treat yourself to!
