I got serious about skincare in 2008 at the age of 44. I used products from the Dermalogica line for my new cleanse, tone and moisturize routine. Dermalogica was just okay and I did not want to re purchase. I had a difficult time finding a toner that did not irritate my eyes. I use Vichy Thermale Demaquillant Integral One Step Cleanser 3in1 as a toner. I don't care whether this is right or wrong it works for me. My skin is much more clean and perfectly ready to moisturize after using this. My make up remover is from the Clinique line and my cleanser is from the Philosophy line. My Vichy 3 in 1 always removes more than my cleanser does. I highly recommend this very gentle and effective product to anyone looking for a very reasonably priced product that can do it all or be used as a toner with benefits.

I love the smell of Vichy products (very yummy!). However, this product didn't perform for me. It did not make a dent in my makeup and I ended up using a diaper wipe to remove residual cosmetics. On days when I go bare face, I do think this would be a nice mild cleanser. As for toning and moisturizing, I can't attest to either claim as I had to follow this product with a wipe (which dried out my skin). Back to equate makeup remover towelettes.

This product promises to remove makeup, tone, and cleanse. Okay, first of all, it does actually remove makeup very well. Also, it leaves the eye area soft, clean, plump and non-oily. I would definetly keep using as an eye makeup remover.Secondly, as for the cleansing aspect: it does cleanse the face. However, you must rub on dry with fingers and wipe off. No water! Well, I found that my pores clogged by doing this. Also, if left on for too long or if too much product is used, it can leave face a bit sticky. So, I would not recommend as a daily cleanser. Perhaps, it is a bit too mild?? And as for a toner, I would say it did leave the skin feeling refreshed and soft. But again, a bit mild. I definelty highly recommend this to ANYONE/EVERYONE for the eye area. I believe this would also be ideal for young people with very sensitive skin. Just too mild for my 28 year old skin.

Honestly I don't use this for anything more than removing makeup on occasion and it barely works for that withing scrubbing. I'm also surprised I didn't break out in cysts considering this has mineral oil as the main ingredient(Why not just buy baby oil with how expensive this is?)
I feel this is overpriced baby oil in a cream form, I did break out abit on it, it left a film, was slightly itchy since it left a film, felt odd on the skin and generally bothered me for the whole day. Also my makeup wouldn't stay on too well well using it.
Also my face never felt clean either. 2 lippies for sorta being able to remove makeup and being quick.

I love this cleanser! It feels gentle on my skin, doesn't sting my eyes and doesn't feel irritating or tight during use or afterwards. It smells nice, too. I probably wouldn't buy the full size due to the price, but I do love the sample I have.

This didnt remove my makeup and it made my skin feel oily and disgusting afterwards. It didnt cause any breakouts. Its pricey, not worth the money.
Will not buy again

For those commenting that it clogs pores, theyre probably trying to wash it off after. Actually according to the bottle you shouldnt wash it off. I had an old face wipe that completely dried off. Instead of trashing it, i poured the vichy cleansing milk on it and spread it around. Then used the wipe to rid of my makeup. Then i dont wash it off. Some ppl are right that it doesnt remove all makeup. I had to scrub it off with the face wipe containing the milk. I find that i dont have to put alot of moisturizer after this.

I've been using this for a few years now. I have combination skin, oily T-zone, etc. One would think that putting a relatively "greasy" cleanser on relatively oily skin would be counterproductive... but I learned that what's really counterproductive is stripping your skin of its natural oils, only to shock them into overproducing them to compensate. I found that after a month of so of using this, my skin acclimated to the product in terms of its oil production. My skin is healthy and glowy and dewy looking. There is a bit of a "film," which I think of more as a moisturizer (although I sometimes also use moisturizer on top of this). Although the smell is a little more perfumey and unnatural smelling than most of the other products I use regularly, it's faint enough that I actually really like it.
The best thing about this cleanser is that you can use it without water, which is great for travel or whatever (I've been on some rugged trips where washing my face with this after a week of no running water felt like getting a 90-minute massage). Just massage into your skin, wipe off gently with a [hopefully soft] towel, exfoliating slightly if you want, and you're done. When I use it with water, I apply it straight to my dry face, massage in, then rinse with warm water and massage off some more. In this case, I only pat it dry.

Definitely on the fence about this one. I love the concept, a one step solution to the cleanse/tone/remove makeup. Leaves a bit of a film on the skin afterward, but I tend to be a bit oily anyway. That being said, if you're more on the dry side you'll most likely enjoy this product.

Wowsers this clogged my pores! (Nothing that some Exfolikate can't undo). That said, it is summer, and I can actually see this being a good once/twice a week regimen during winter along with regular exfoliation. It is very gentle, delicate, and has a soft, fresh scent.
The reason that I even resorted to trying this is that my Fresh Soy Cleanser (extremely gentle, fresh scent, no residue, leaves skin soft) is not available in Switzerland.
I will continue to use this as an eye makeup remover. Unlike some other reviewers, I thought it did an excellent job taking away makeup...all without stinging. Also, the slight film that is left seems to pamper the delicate eye area, and I like that especially at night.

I began using this while I was undergoing treatment with Accutane. My skin was way too dry and sensitive to use my normal cleanser. I liked it immediately! It leaves my skin very soft and comfortable. It removes most of my eye makeup, but I don't wear very much. Now that I'm wearing waterproof mascara and eyeliner, I find that I have to use a qtip and a little dedicated eye makeup remover to finish off. That's not really a problem for me.
I tried switching to Cetaphil cleanser because it was cheaper and I thought I'd like it just as much. I was wrong. The Cetaphil didn't leave my skin as comfortable as the Vichy.
Now that I'm not on Accutane anymore I still use the Vichy cleanser, usually in the evenings. In the morning I like something more intense and exfoliating. I'm even using it in the summer and it is not causing any breakouts.
I'm on my third bottle, now. I'm usually a product hopper, but I keep coming back to this one.

I love this product. I have to admit that at first, I was not so sure about it. I don't really like 3in1 products. When I started using it, I thought I had to rinse it off, and it made me break out so I used another product.
I read some of the reviews here, and I remarked most people do not rinse it off. Now I use it, starting by applying it in circular motions on my dry face, then I wet a cotton pad and I remove a bit of the product with the pad. My face is soft and I don't even need moisturizer at night. It also removes eye makeup very well, though sometimes I have to use eye makeup remover if I wear liquid eyeliner or particulary good mascara.
I give it a 4, since it did made me break out at first, but right now I love it.

I bought this product home, put on my reading glasses, what the ..... the 4th ingredient is a phosphate, sodium phosphate (as I remembered). I wouldn't put it on my skin, any part of my skin, body or facial, let alone the eye area. It may be suitable for laundry detergent, but not on my skin. Return for refund.
Get with it, Vichy !!!

I just bought my second tube of this!
Before using this I had really bad breakouts from... I don't even know exactly which product - I can only narrow it down to the foundation I had been using at that time, or a cheapo serum (which I think was the culprit, but as I said, I can't really be sure).
So actually I just bought this on a whim (for 9,60 €uros), remembering that I used this at a friend's house after sleeping over...
I have combo/oily skin which also turns out to be sensitive - who would have thought that - all this time I had been using harsh cleansers, i.e. daily exfoliants formulated for combo/oily young skin and this was sooo wrong!
Since I've started using this, my skin has improved sooo much! It has really been clearing up, no more clogged pores and the best... NO MORE breakouts!!!
I did have to get used to the weird consistency as this is really something else compared to normal cleansers!
Here is how I use it:
I wash my hands first and then put some on to my hand and then massage the cleanser in to my face, then remove with cotton pads and then rinse rinse rinse, sometimes spray w/ some thermal water :)
it does leave a bit of a film on my skin, which I was quite worried about in the beginning - but it really has improved my skin, which is on it's way to looking like it did before those cursed mystery breakouts...
What I do agree to is that this cleanser is not that good at removing eye make-up, I think it can't really do that at all so I do use something else for that. But that's really okay for me seeing how good it does my skin - definitely gonna buy this again and again...

I have somewhat sensitive skin which is somewhat prone to flakiness/oiliness/blackheads. I personally did not find this cleanser very useful. It smeared my makeup which made it more difficult to remove and left a layer of moisture on my skin. That being said I do find it pleasant to use; it smells lovely and my skin does feel quite soft after using it. However it only really works if I wash my face properly first so there is no way I would actually buy it again. Unless it cost less than $5 and, well, it doesn't.

This product is wonderful for those who have sensitive skin, the texture is a bit drippy, but it doesn't bother me, it can handle every foundation, concealer and mascara (waterproof/regular). When applied, it's very cooling, and the smell is nice too. I've been using this for over a year or two, and this has never broken me out. After using it though, I sometimes use a SLS-free facewash, because I like my skin to be completely clean. But if you have dry skin, you can leave it on too, that's not a problem.

I bought this on sale (10 bucks for 300 mL) to try it, because a friends recommended it. mmm well very gentle (i have sensitive skin), refreshing, did feel nice (the "film" some people are complaining about doesnt bother be a bit), BUT I did have a bit of difficulty for my mascara...but overall seriously, I recommend it!

This product does not work at all. To describe, it has the consistency of a runny lotion and the only good thing about this is that you do not need to use a lot of product and it is very gentle for sensitive skin types. A little goes a long way. Howver, it claims to be a cleansing milk, toning lotion, and makeup remover in one. Instead it deposits an oily film on the skin that does not wash off. I need to use an additional toner to take off the excess oil. Then it does not remove eye makeup at all. I need a separate eye makeup remover to do that. So this product neither cleanses, tones or removes makeup! It is absolutely useless. A cheaper drugstore brand would perform better. I've been using this for over a week so I gave it a good try but Im going back to my regular Dr. Bronner's castille soap.

decided to buy this seeing that my usual dermalogica essential cleansing solution had finished and i wanted cream cleanser which is more within my budget range. read the reviews here, so thought i'd give it a go. the cleanser is creamy and has a light scent which i found refreshing. it did not irritate my skin, and is quite moisturizing. i agree that there is a thin film left on the skin after wiping it off, but it doesn't bother me much. and so far, it has not broken me out. however, i didn't find it that affective as a makeup remover. i had to cleanse 4-5 times before the cotton pad came away completely clean. it doesn't serve very well as an eye makeup remover either. fair enough, it did remove most of my eyeshadow but there was still traces of mascara and eye liner left. i had to use a separate product to clean those off. all in all, i wouldn't mind using this on no makeup days. but it would be a bit of a hassle if i have a face full of make up and would definately have to follow up with a foaming cleanser. for reference, i have combination/dry skin which tends to be a bit more sensitive during the colder months.
