I really enjoyed this product until I started to notice the drying effects it had on my face. (Mostly the lower half of my face where I am dry, as apposed to my t-zone which is oily) On the plus side- the smell of it is amazing, it has gentle micro beads that gently polish the skin and it produced a rich lather ! I really wish this product would've worked for me.

I was looking for a vitamin C cream, and got this instead...

It smells nice, feels good (just the right amount of exfoliation), and after rinsing leaves my skin clean and feeling fresh.

I have acne-prone skin and haven't noticed this make me break-out more. I have dry skin now because it is -20 degrees Celcius outside! so i make sure to apply moisturizer after... and so far okay.

only bought this about a week ago and i use a diff wash too, so vitC wash in morning only or evening only...not both.

i like it so far! try to buy when buy 2 get 2 free or some deal is on :)

Like so many others, I really wanted this product to work. I love TBS. But also so many others, it made me break out in unsightly cyst pimples all over my cheeks and T zone. It smells great, but it is too strong for me. I don't have overly sensitive skin, but for some reason, this face wash waged war on my skin. The breakouts took weeks to recover. Returned it asap.

I used this last night (slept at 3am after a wedding party) I have got sensitive skin , the scent was a little strong it is a gel based formula with many tiny somewhat sharp microbeads and I felt tingling on my face after having used the product - but it did not break me out in the morning unlike the ALOE range.

I changed from using the vitamin E scrub (which I love) to vitamin C polish as the vitamin E was alittle too rich around my chin and gave me tiny blemishes- the Aloe range broke me out on the Tzone it was horrible (I usually have clear skin)- the Vitamin C Polish after 1 use was good for my sensitive skin and I tested the polish and not the microdermabrasion first due to sensitive skin I was advised that the microderm may be alittle strong and to try this first- I was happy with the product.

I was expecting my skin to look tired today- but my skin looks good this morning and the pores seemed to be very clean and skin looks like its glowing (usual exfoliation effect)- I have not used the polish for long enough to see whether it brightens -it left my face feeling soft (like vit E range which smelt better though)- I did not get the product however for brighteneing propoerties I think excercise , good food and sleep can do this- but I will update...

Alittle expensive for what it is should cost around £4-6 in my opinion as there are some really good exfoliators out there shame my sensitive skin doesn't agree with them.
I intend to use the product occasionally and not on a daily basis as it is strong (like most exfoliators/polishes with beads) for my sensitive skin .

update: MICRODERMABRASION AND THE SECOND TIME I USED THIS PRODUCT IT BROKE ME OUT IN HORRIBLE PIMPLES- MY SKIN IS USUALLY 'CLEAR.'

Even though this may have dried my face out a teeny bit (only because my skin is so sensitive and pretty much every wash does that to me), it made it look so much more radiant than it was before! This was very gentle and did not irritate my skin at all. It also did a brilliant job at gently taking off the pounds upon pounds of foundation and makeup I had caked onto my face for dance performances! I was even able to use this around my eyes (with them shut, of course) and I had no problems!

I used this every morning and night and my breakouts were less frequent. I do plan on buying this again, once I come up with enough money! That is pretty much the only downside for me-- the price. Although it is not too expensive at 12-15 bucks, it still is kind of pricey.

Anyways, this is a great buy! I paired it with a couple of drops of emu oil for moisturizing afterwards and my face has never looked so glowy and bright.

This was a really bad product, smells great, is very gentle on the face but make me break out like none other.
I wish I could've loved like some people here do, but I will definitely not be repurchasing.

I used this for 3 months already and felt it's a good time to write a review. I ran out of Tea Tree Oil Cleanser and wanted something less drying, but good cleansing power for my combo/acne prone skin, so i landed with vit c cleanser. It only needs a little to give a full lather. I don't think the little beads are enough to act as an exfoliator, so it's more like a marketing gimmick to me. Overall it cleans very well and doesn't dry out my face like tea tree oil does. Please don't expect it to brighten your complexion, because it doesn't. I've used their vit c capsules which really work after 1 week of use. I won't repurchase this cleanser bc I want to go SLS free. The Body Shop can make SLS free shampoo, i really wish they'll bring it to their full line of face wash & body wash. I think this will save this good company from bloody red ocean. continued >>

this stuff is lovely - I keep it in the shower and use it as my morning cleanser. That scent is perfect for the morning pic me up. Just enough efoliation too.

Not sure if I would pay full price...I bought it with 3/30 deal in CA.

I love Vitamin C Cleasing Face Polish and i use it as my daily facial wash. It removes my light make up and brightens my face. Using my 2nd tube now. 3rd tube is waiting :)

Was really looking forward to trying this product for the Vitamin C benefits. It smells great and the packaging is great. The price is fair for the body shop. I really didnt like this face wash because it made me break out. I think its a little too strong. I would reccommend it to someone who does not have sensitive skin as it does smell great, lathers great, and leaves your skin feeling clean and smooth. But for someone who has sensitive skin, it is rather harsh and leads to breakouts (which is a very big deal for me because I never break out. Last breakout was when I was 16, I am now 25). Hope this review was helpful!
