My gosh this is SO thick. There's no way for this to absorb without a lot of tugging. The consistency is so awful I'm not going to use it. Hopefully I can return it.

PROS: This is a moussey textured eye cream, not super creamy, but moistuizing enough. CON: I find it that its gets old quickly, so i waste away most of the product. MB product generally go bad quickly. I will not purchase this again, instead try something else.

I like this eye cream. I think it's perfect for people in their 20's and early 30's to use as a preemptive eye treatment. I much prefer this to the ceramide eye gel as it soaks in a bit better. Unless you don't wear heavy eye makeup, this cream is probably better to use at night; if you wear it during the day with your makeup, it can cause your mascara or your eye liner to bleed and smudge. You really don't need more than a thin dab for each eye. You might find this a bit greasy if you apply more than that, and it might dissuade you from continuing to use it. Make sure you keep the jar closed tight and out of the light. Since there are so few preservatives in this, excessive exposure to light or air can cause it to solidify into bouncy jelly. Don't let any of what I've said turn you off from trying this. It's really a nice cream, and it will literally last you forever. It's kept my eyes looking moist and youthful, and I suppose I can't ask for much more than that at 22. Tip: Store this in the fridge . . . it will be a soothing and cooling treatment for puffy eyes!

Mario Badescu's Ceramide Herbal Eye Cream is perfect for anyone looking for a good everyday eye cream. I initially bought this because I was interested in something that can intensely hydrate under eye skin all day long, and also prevent wrinkles and fine lines. I generously apply this eye cream at night for intense overnight moisture, and I also apply this in the mornings. This can be a bit thick for daily wear, so I take a small dab of this and mix it with an SPF moisturizer to dilute it. I found that wearing a lot of this with concealer on top will make the concealer appear different and blotchy, so mixing it with a moisturizing instead of wearing it by itself during the day helps. I noticed a slight improvement with my under eye circles/darkness after a few weeks of using this, but it wasn't a significant change.
I recommend this to anyone looking for a very affordable high end eye cream.

I'm now on my second container of this eye cream (been using MB products for almost four years) and I like the product for what it is. It definitely gets rid of any puffiness around the eye area and reduces dark circles. I don't really have wrinkles (i'm still in my 20s) but from what I hear, it does a good job of reducing those too. It has a nice texture, but you have to be careful on how much you apply. You have to have a light touch when you apply it, otherwise, you will end up with oily eyes. A little goes a long way with this product!

I got this as a free sample, and I would not buy it for myself. The packaging is a little jar (and I think the full-size retail version is also a jar), which I actually really like- I know some people don't like jars because you stick your fingers into the product and it's not the most sanitary, but I think it's the easiest way for me to get the amount I want.
As far as the actual product itself: this eye cream is thick, almost too thick. It's also too greasy. I made the mistake of using it during the day, and even after giving it ten minutes to sink in, my eyelids were so slippery and oily that I couldn't apply eyeliner or eyeshadow properly. Now I'm only using it at night, and it's working pretty well- it's very moisturizing, which is all I need at night, and when I'm going straight to bed the greasiness doesn't really matter.

This stuff is amazing for young 20 somethings who want to prevent wrinkles. It gets rid of the puffy-ness on and around my eyes. Be careful not to use too much, a little goes a long way. It tones my skin while lightly moisturizing. Amazing HG product.

Been using a sample for about 10 days so far. Underwhelmed to say the least. Quiet thick in texture, smells OK, and it takes awhile for my skin to absorb. Nothing special. At least it didn't cause any bad reaction. Won't be purchasing a full amount.

I am not crazy about this product it seems ok in the beginning, but it does not reduce fine lines (not even after half a year of use) and your skin looks oily for a long time after you apply it, so I use it only at night. I also had a hard time to take to right amount from the jar and use it as it is a bit to thick, I either got to much or to littler, it was a bit frustrating in at first. I would not buy this product again. I don't think it does what it supposed to.

Very moisturizing and gentle on the eye area. It's glides on smoothly and my skin absorbs it very quickly.

This is Mario's most popular eye cream. It's a nice simple eye cream to the point. The ceramides smooth out lines and wrinkles and prevent them. The aha's exfoliate. I have a sample of this. I have too many eye creams that I haven't used this one consistently. I think it's a good hydrating eye cream for those who want to prevent fine lines and wrinkles. It's not going to be the most hydrating, the hyaluronic one is from MB. The price point is great and you still get pro quality.

I got this as a free sample, so I said I would buy it again, but truly haven't bought it before.
I don't use eye creams (I'm 28), and don't have any problems in that area. So I guess you could say I didn't have any expectations going into using this cream.
That said, I do like using this eye cream. I apply it in the evening after cleansing my face, and it's really nice and slippery, not greasy. It doesn't irritate my eyes overnight. My eye area seems more moisturized. It doesn't have a funky smell and I can't imagine anyone would dislike the texture. It's not too thick or thin.

I received this as a sample from the website from filling out their questionnaire. I use a very small amount of this cream at night only because I use a different product (with SPF) for the day. It's very thick, so I have to spend a fair amount of time dabbing it around my eyes without tugging. It doesn't just sit on my eye area because by morning, the skin around my eyes feel soft and smooth. Overall, it moisturizes well but did nothing to smooth out fine lines. I will not purchase the full size.

Check out my notepad to read a more detailed explanation of my facial skin type!
What it Claims:
"This easily absorbed, non-greasy eye cream is made with a blend of Vegetable, Carnation and antioxidant Rose Hips Oil. Reduces the look of dry, tired eyes and helps smooth out fine lines and wrinkles to keep the delicate eye area looking moist and youthful."
Claims - True or False?
1) Easily absorbed: False. I applied some to my eyes last night, and about 24 hours later, I can still feel a slight sticky residue from the cream.
2) Non-greasy: False. I noticed hours after application that my undereye area was glossy, and it appeared as though I'd just applied it.
3) Reduces lines and dryness: Undetermined, as I did not use it long enough.
Packaging:
I personally have only used the sample, but both the sample and the full size come in a tub. It can be slightly unhygienic, but I personally do not mind using products in a tub for areas like my eyes. You can easily just use something like a q-tip to remove the product. Comes in a white tub with simple labeling, so although it is pricey it has quite a simplistic look.
Smell:
There really isn't any noticeable fragrance to the cream, which is good for those with sensitive eyes or sensitive skin in general.
Consistency:
I find that it has a slightly whipped consistency, and quite thick. It has a cool mint colouring and smooths over the skin gently. It creates an almost silicone primer feel to the skin when applied. For super dry skin, this may work well as a primer under the eye area. It does leave you with a greasy residue, so you must use a VERY small amount.
Ease of Use:
Relatively easy to use. Just dab some onto your undereye area and pat it on. Because of how greasy and thick it was, I found it was hard to truly get it to blend into your skin without it being obvious.
Bang for your Buck:
I personally believe that 99% of eye creams are overpriced, this being one of them. If used on a regular basis, it may easily last quite some time, but by that point it may end up going bad. If you purchase some and find that you have too much left before it goes bad, just use it on other parts of your body. For 0.5oz at $18.00, and considering it isn't always widely available for physical purchase, I'd say that it is slightly overpriced.
Final Consensus:
Although I only used it once, I can tell that from the one use it is not a product that I would feel like using again. My eye area does have fine lines, but I do not have puffiness, dryness or dark circles, so finding a "vanilla" product is quite difficult. In my case, this product was too thick and hydrating and was just too average for me. I give it 2 lippies for being fragrance free and for not being irritating, and because I can easily see it working well for someone with very dry eyes. But for someone just looking for a basic eye cream, this may be too heavy for you.
Overall Rating: 2/5
Price: 3/5
Packaging Quality: 3/5
Would you buy this product again: No.

Very moisturizing. This cream takes all night to soak into my skin, and prevents my eye area from getting dry even when I wear heavy makeup. I have sensitive skin and eyes, and this didn't irritate my eye area at all.

It is very thick and creamy. It feels moisturizing, but it doesn't seem to sink into my skin. Rather, it just sits on top of it. It's ok if I put it on at night, but if i wear it in the morning (as the guide told me to) it is way too thick and creamy for morning wear. It made my eye area feel really oily and heavy. I would only use this for night time, but I didn't really notice any difference either way, so I will not repurchase.

I got this sample about a week ago. So far i like it, but they gave it to me old because its more of a pastel green hard jello blob then a darker green soft jello. Im using it anyways and other than experiencing alight stinging in the eye its fine.
I think it will do a good job prevent wrinkles because its thick and stays on all night!

I received a sample of this one after buying some products from MB.
I like it, really. It is very moisturizing and sinks perfectly into skin. I think I will buy the full size to use this daytime. XXX MB !
