After years of using tanning products, most recently St Moriz, I was tired of my skin being so dry and flaky. I love the deep colour St Moriz gives my skin however it becomes very scaly after a few days, in which I have to literally scrub my skin to shreds to take it off and apply a new layer of tan. My sister bought me this product (I have used gradual moisturising products before, when they first came out) and it is absolutely brilliant. It took me two applications to get a lovely, even golden colour (subtle, but noticeable, like i've caught the sun!) however even after the first application my skin had a hint of colour, and my skin feels smooth and soft. I bought the darker version of the product. Would recommend to self tan beginners or those sick of the scales other cheap fake tans give us.

An amazing product with amazing results always. I got the one for fair to medium skin and although it takes a few applications to built it creates a really natural sun kissed look. I'm thinking of trying the medium to dark one to get a darker colour.

the bad smell turned me off so bad could not continue using!
it wasn't the self tanner type of smell (used to it) but it smelled like dirt!
honestly the first 2 times i used it i could not tell why i smelled like dirt as it was summer and i had put other products on also, when finally one day i couldn't find my hand lotion i put it on and finally realized where the dirt smell came from.

I'm a beginner when it comes to tanning and I found this product easy to use. I have very pale skin so I bought the light/medium and it gave me a very subtle golden glow. I loved it so much I bought the darker version a while later as I wanted a darker tan. To me it feels somewhat oily for about and hour and a half but once it absorbs fully my skin feels amazing. I love this product and I'll definitely continue to buy it.

I'm super fair (MAC NC15) and i use the dove summer glow in medium to dark because i love having a tan thats pretty dark. after about 3 applications i had a really nice brown, even, natural looking tan. its really easy to apply too, just like a body moisturiser. im currently using this over my spray tan as it was beginning to fade and this tanning lotion is making it last alot longer and keeping the color :)

I use the normal-dark even though I am very pale, and I only have to apply it once or twice to get my desired colour. Is a natural bronze (not orange) colour which is perfectly natural looking. Never had a problem with this, no streaks or patches. I usually use it overnight and wake up with a nice golden, even tan. It smells good at first but over time turns into the biscuity false tan smell but it isn't strong, it is bareable. Great product!

love this self tanner! It's my absolute favourite i use it all the time!
-It gives such a nice golden colour (very buildable and controllable)
- it's so easy to apply because it has a thick creamy texture then as soon as it touches your skin it smooths and thins out evenly all over you skin (never had patches or streaks)
-It doesn't have a colour guide (as in it comes out just like the colour of a lotion) which at first i thought was bad but now i realise it's actually good because you can apply it straight after shaving or waxing without the bronze sinking into your pores, say goodbye to the 'dotty' look
-it smells amazing, even days later <3
-it lasts for aages
My only tip with this self tanner is once you start applying it, commit to using it everyday or it will start to fade and go yellowish. So if you do decide you don't want to use it anymore, exfoliate it off completely, cos it fades pretty badly.
oh and even though i have fair skin, i bought the normal to dark colour cos ive heard the pale one doesn't really work. But the normal to dark works amazing on pale skin, doesn't go orange or too dark or anything, it looks super natural :) continued >>

i love this product, best gradual tanner i've tried. i use the medium to dark one. it smells really good and keeps your skin moisturised. it definately gives you a good summer glow and it wasn't streaky at all for me. it takes a few days to see results but it does enhance your natural tan. it's not orange at all. i would hundred percent recommend this :)

this stuff is fabulous! i have sun spots and uneven coloring on my arms and this helps my skin to look fresh and even.....it really leaves me with a natural golden color ....i dont mind the smell...i apply it before bed and stand in front of a heater to help dry it before i dress for bed. I am very happy with it...the most wonderful thing about it is it doesnt smell the next day!!!! There is no corn chip smell ....I am definetely repurchasing...i have tried a self tanner before but i cant remember which brand...the smell just put me off completely but the dove is great....smells fruity like peaches and passionfruit.
give this one a go...i have it in med to dark and after just 3 applications i look tanned and wonderful! It also makes my arms look toned which is a bonus!!!

I have this in medium - dark. I have used this tinted lotion for many years now, it was my first ever venture into self tan growing up and it really gives me a nice 'warm glow' to the skin. I have olive-toned skin as I have a European background and this doesn't make me look extremely orange.

Though, I love when self-tans have that bit of orange warmth to them as it just compliments my skin colour and I just like the look of it personally! Some may disagree but I personally like it on my skin tone, I have seen the same products I use on friends and some just don't look right on their lighter skin so it just comes down to personal preference/trial and error. This product is pigmented enough to give you a subtle colour and if applied daily can definitely see a difference in a few days! But this can streak as it has a fair amount of self-tan in it so be sure to really work it into the skin. Gloves aren't needed as its not THAT pigmented!

Lotion-wise, it is moisturising. Not the best I have ever used for that purpose but does well. Will continue to repurchase this!
