I like the packaging and how it is a squeeze tube, i feel like there is less contamination that way. At first I though I might love this foundation but I do not think so. It highlights every pore on my face. I actually really loved the color unlike some of the reviewers below, but I will say there isn't a huge color selection. I am NC20 and went with the lightest shade 10 and it was great for me, but I would rather look lighter than darker if I had to choose. Fragrance & paraben free which I totally appreciate, and also non pore clogging which is great. I just wish it didn't look so cakey on my skin and highlight imperfections. It is also hard to blend it almost stays on top of the skin. Back to the search sadly! continued >>

HG foundation for me! Looks really pretty on skin, has medium coverage, which is buildable. Good for all types of skin, doesn't break me out and stays at least 8 hours.

This product gives good coverage, however it does make my skin slightly oily, especially at the end of the day. Having said that,it is longlasting although the range of shades is not very wide. For the quality of the product the price is reasonable, and is actually cheaper than some drugstore foundations. The packing is hygenic and easy to carry with you when travelling.

It's a wonderful product! I'm on my second tube now, it goes on velvety smooth, the coverage is medium to full,best thing about it, it doesn't brake me out and it really is for sensitive skin! The only downside to it, it makes my T zone little bit oily, but nothing that a powder can't fix!

I bought this trying to find a slightly cheaper alternative to my Clinique Anti Blemish - anomie thing that would cover blemishes and do nice things to my skin! I'm really not overly impressed to be honest- its very thick and a bit too much coverage (think it would be really good if you wanted it to cover redness or uneven skin tone though), my face just felt a bit like a white sheet as the lightest tone was just too light but the one above far too orange. It seems to highlight my pores and any under-skin blemishes, and I think the last time I had to use powder this much to get rid of shine on my t zone I was a teenager! Overall I think this would be great if you have really smooth skin and just want to correct redness, but really not for me!

I really love this product...I was using Vichy dermablend foundation but it was too heavy for me,while this one is light,long lasting,has good coverage and the perfect colour!It is not full coverage but it makes your skin look at its best...The price is reasonable and the packaging simple.All in all i find that it's a great foundation!

Hi, I have to say that it's my first time here. Well, I used to buy Clinique Repairwear, I used it for three years. But a week ago I went to the place where I usually purchases it and they told me that Clinique is not selling that product anymore, so I went to another drugstore to check if they had some of them left but unlickily they didn't have any. So, I used other foundations these days but I was so depressed when I went past a mirror... Finally, I started searching on google "foundations with couverage" and I found good opinions about Dermablend of Vichy. But I couldn't purchase it anywhere either. The druggist told me that she used a foundation by LRP with a lot of couverage (which was this one) and I bought it. It was yesterday and today it's been my first time with it and I only have good words, even my boyfriend says it's better than Clinique's one, ant it's half its price! So I'm SOOOO happy with it. For me, it's EXCELLENT!

I got this foundation in nr 10 and 11. There's not big of a difference between colors - Ivory 10 is more neutral beige toned, while 11 is maybe a tiny bit pinker but I still can use it on my warm toned skin without looking ashy or pink.
I have oily acne-prone skin which breaks out when products I use are wrong. This foundation doesn't do that.
It is medium to full coverage foundation which sets nicely. You have to have moisturized and non-flaky skin or otherwise it will look bad (like any other foundation would). Once you apply it, it may look a bit powdery or heavy but when it sets, it will look even and healthy. Depending on the amount and brush you use, you can get different coverage. Duo-fiber brush applies foundation more sheer while flat top kabuki gives full coverage. You don't even need pea sized amount of this foundation to cover your whole face (I use it very lightly to even out my skin).
It lasts on my skin without primer and powder 3-4 hours before I notice oils coming through. If you have oily skin, you need a primer or very light powder to help it last longer. I don't use it during summer because I don't need that much coverage and my skin looks better in summertime anyway, I think it would be a bit thick for summer. It feels comfortable on skin for a high coverage foundation. It doesn't make skin tight or itchy.
I usually use duo-fibre stippling brush which gives less coverage but looks very nice. You need to take time blending it though or it will look patchy because the texture is quite thick and not runny at all. Foundation covers redness, acne marks and other spots you may have amazingly well. It doesn't have strong scent which I like, but it has medicine like smell which fades very quickly so that is not a problem for me.
I don't know how does it act on dry skin but it is amazing for oily acne-prone skin. I will buy this again for sure. I just might go with something lighter for summer.
Pros:
* SPF
* finish is semi-matte, very natural, not oily or shiny
* medium to full coverage depending on your brush choice
* tube - you can get every last drop of it and it's hygienic
* perfect color match if you have light yellow/neutral skin (Clinique Anti-Blemish foundation in nr 2 or MAC NC20 can use Ivory 10 shade)
* lasts long on skin
* reasonably priced
* doesn't feel heavy on skin
Cons:
* I have to order it online
* color matching might be an issue for someone (if you are very pale, even the lightest shade will look too dark on you)

Remember to moisturize well before applying this if you have dry skin.
This foundation has a tendency to highlight my skin's uneven texture, only the skintone is unified - to a beige tone that looks dull.
The light beige works for my skin tone with a little bronzer on top, but this is nothing special.

This is an incredible foundation with heavy duty coverage and a really natural finish. It cleared the acne on my chin and gave me the most wonderful light feel to my skin. I first saw it on a friend that had really bad acne scars and it made her look just perfect. This is the best foundation I have ever tried and it's too bad they don't make it in a larger shade range. The price is not exactly low, but you need the tiniest bit for your whole face, this lasted about 5 months with me. Amazing product, easy to blend, no smell, just perfect to me.

The coverage is just a-m-a-z-i-n-g!!I used it when I had a skin allergy and it covered it all!!The colours are a bit weird though.Ivory is way too light for my Eastern European skin tone. Compared to the expensive brands this one does a way better job for less money.Definately worth trying!!!!

This has the worst colour selection ever! I have it in the lightest colour and it still is too dark for my skin. It does cover very well and goes on nicely but after about 4 hours it starts to look very greasy which isnt exactly a good look but somehow still seems to have good staying power. I would not buy this again. Why is it so hard to get a full coverage foundation that doesnt slip off the skin and get greasy? If anyone has any recommendations please let me know!

I was hoping for a great product, but unfortunately it didn't rise up to my expectations. Instead of hiding my blemishes it only made them more obvious, not to mention the fact that it creased in all my fine lines and dried up my skin. Also, it made my face have anything but a natural look, it seemed like i had tons upon tons of make up, and i hadn't even used a lot.

Most amazing foundation I've used! Not kidding, I came across a sample and was blown away at just how awesome this foundation is. I've never used a foundation I thought to be perfect for my skin. Until now. The coverage is excellent and made my skin appear flawless. It covered up the little blemishes completely and I also love how it goes on, just perfect, no flakes or other annoying things foundation of lesser calibre are prone to doing. This is HG for me! I I got mine in Sand Beige and it's a great shade for me. Bottom line - buy it!!! I am so happy I got that little sample package given to me, if not I probably wouldn't have bought it as La Roche Posay isn't a brand I normally would buy but it's my new favorite foundation that's for sure!

Covers well and doesn't flake off and heavy-duty corrective foundation in creams usually ends in drying mess over time. Actually it gives me a little sheen hour later. Not unattractive but for combo and oily-skinned, a sight, not a vision. Creamy and gentle and it will go the distance for me. The lack of colors is annoying and I'm not buying two to mix in hope of a shade that will "do". If more choices are available, I'm there.

hello girls,
I am 40 years old and I have an oily, acne-prone skin. I think there are only a few foundation brands that I haven't tried, yet. I am obsessed with my sensitive skin and I am very careful in choosing skincare and make-up products. I've just bought yesterday this Toleriane foundation, after reading all the reviews about it, posted on this site. I have to admit that I am impressed. I used it this morning and my conclusions are: - there is no need (almost) to conceal the scars; - very good coverage as EL Double Wear, Mat Lumiere Chanel, Teint Resist YSL, Clarins Everlasting Foundation, and few other that I don't remember now; - it looks totally natural on the skin; - yes, I still need powder, because my extremly oily skin, but I always set my foundation with a good translucent powder.
yes, girls, do not hesitate to buy this foundation, which is not expensive, at all.
and, what did I do this morning? I use as a primer Cicaplast, the same brand.

The coverage this foundation gives is FANTASTIC!!! Definitely comparable to Laura Mercier's creme smooth foundation (if not slightly more coverage). I thought it was very easy to apply, and spread well on my face (make sure to moisturize beforehand!) I noticed people were saying it made their dry spots stand out more, but I didn't notice this happening.
It looked fantastic when first applied, but I found the foundation made my face more oily than normal throughout the day. :( Despite making me greasy, the staying-power of the foundation was quite impressive!
As far as color match, I found the light beige to be too dark and too pink/red for my very fair yellow toned skin. I'd imagine their lightest shade (ivory) would probably be a good match, but it's hard to find this color on U.S. sites.
I have to say the quality of my skin looked great when I was wearing this foundation, it really did decrease the amount of breakouts I had. It is because of this I am really sad the foundation doesn't work for me! :(
It has gotten very good ratings from other people, so if you suffer from acne and don't have super oily skin, I would say give this foundation a try! AlexaSpa is where I got mine from, they have fantastic customer service!! :)
****UPDATE: *****
If you are looking for a wonderful coverage foundation that won't make you greasy or cause breakouts, I recommend Gabriel Cosmetics-- Liquid Foundation and Dual Powder! My new favorites!!!

thats my hg hands down!i've been using this everytime my skin played tricks on me and the results are amazing!it covers up redness, pimples, large pores and everything looks so natural.although, i have to admit it dries a little the skin but if you pair it with a rich moisturizer it won't be a problem.i also have the compact version for touch ups.i will definitely repurchase ;)
