I really did not want to like this stuff. The price tag is not very pleasant... However! I LOVE it. I have been using this for about a month now, around my eyes, on the lids (as it instructs), under the eyes, and around- on crowsfeet. My eye area has definitely softened, and is always sufficiently hydrated thanks to this cream. I have very dry skin, and this is so rich- it goes on thick, almost like a baby's butt paste- it even goes on leaving a whitish cast before it completely sinks in... But oh, it feels so wonderful, and smells so lovely- the whole process is nice. I don't typically look forward to night time skin regime, but this stuff makes it enjoyable, even pleasurable! I'm also using a bit of this on my upper lip area as it says it is an eye and lip cream... I figure prevention wont hurt! It does come in a jar, but it also comes with a sealed "spoon-like" scoop so you don't need to stick your fingers directly into the cream itself. If you can get yourself a sample, try it out... but I'm warning you- You may end up justifying the cost to go back and get the full-size! It's the best eye cream I've tried, and for my dry and (ageing? 34 years old :/) skin, I need all the help I can get. UPDATE- Ive compared this one to the Benefiance Concentrated eye cream, and I really think that one is much better. It's cheaper, too. It's just so much more smooth and sinks in a lot better...

a while ago I noticed that I was starting to develop wrinkles around my under eyes and mentioned it to my mom. She's an avid Shiseido user and recommended this. I was on the fence about this since it's so bloody expensive but I told myself that there was nothing to lose and took my chances. It's a staple in skin care routine. It brightened and soften the look of my wrinkles in the first 2 weeks. It work so well and quickly!! I've been using this for 3 months now and my under eye area looks flawless!! I will never stop using this.

I've been using this eye cream for over 3 years and I am thoroughly pleased with the results. I'm currently in my 30's and people still think I'm in my early to mid 20's because I have so few wrinkles around my eye. This is the best eye cream I've ever used and I plan to continue using it. It's an expensive eye cream but worth every penny, in my opinion.

OMG NO! I got a sample of this and used it for a few nights and got a TON of little bumps around my eyes and my eye area got super dry. I've never had a reaction like this before. I see this works for some but it was terrible for me!

I am writing this review based on my observation of this product on my mom. She is in her late 50's, had lots of discoloration and some fine lines before using this product. Ever since she starts using this couple years ago, her discoloration has dramatically changed. I know it is a result of this product, 'cause she does not use anything else. I know because she lives in my house a few days every week when she babysits my daughter. She is the type that uses hand soap to wash her face, and uses hand lotion as face moisturizer. She does not wear sun screen, nothing! The only thing she would do, when it comes to pampering her face is this product. Very obviously, she now has brighter skin, very minimal discoloration, but still has some fine lines, but much improved from before. She applies a thin layer of this product religiously every night on her whole face.
I'm now considering using this myself. I will repost in the future.

I am against spending over $100 for any skin care product, but this is the exception. $120 dollars for .54 oz is quite a lot of cash to shell out, but since I am now on my second jar of this, I will recommend it. I have fine lines and dark circles underneath my eyes, so having a good eye cream is critical for me in preparing the eye area for concealer. With no eye cream, concealer will not go on smoothly; with too much or too heavy an eye cream, concealer will not last. With the Future Solution, I apply and let it sink in for about 5 minutes, and then I am ready to apply foundation and concealer. I love the way it absorbs into my skin. It enables my concealer to go on smoothly and last all day. I am giving it four lippies because I really think that the price is excessive, and perhaps one can find other similar products for about half of the cost of this. However, I do love it.

A coworker gave me a sample tube size of this. I don't have any buffy eyes bags, only very light dark circle i guess. So I was using this cream, hoping it could reduce the slight discolored there and moisturize the under eyes area. But after about 1 month of use, I have developed some dry *patchy* area under eyes. Patches disappeared after i stopped this cream and used some medicate cream for a night. So I don't know....... But I wouldn't repurchase since it didnt really moisturize and might cause those dry patch. A 0.54oz for $125, I think I would rather spend those money on Dior instead.

I actually have bought this eyecream twice. The first bottle, I loved it. It really plumps up the skin around eyes, and I liked the scent. At that time I thought this is the eye cream to get rid of some of the fine lines around eyes. So when the first bottle used up, I purchased another one cause I saw it in Costco and it only cost around $90. However, soon I discovered under both of my eyes, a lot of fat granules appeared. They are still there now after half a year and I am in desperate to get rid of them. Now I not only have fine lines under my eye, but also many fat granules. I hated them because when I try to put concealer and foundation on, they really show up. I think this product might be designed for mature skin, I am only 29 and have dry thin skin. This product is too thick for my skin. Maybe it will be better for people around 40 years old. Now I am using a eye gel. By the way, it never erased any of my undereye fine lines. Each of them is still there. In a word, very disappointed with this product.

This is one of the few eye creams that deliver all those things they promise. I've been using it only 2 weeks, but my eye area looks much more smoother and brigher, it moisturizes my skin instead of just covering the surface with something so it plums all those unsighty dry lines and there are some kind of particles in it that lessen dark circles, but no shiney or glittery mess. And it has reduced my fine lines under my eyes by half, I don't know if those lines are just plumped up or "repaired", but I love the result. I also seem to have less creases when I smile, the skin now tends to fold a bit softer in the area where crows-feet usually apear. If that makes any sense. And while this is a very rich cream it doesn't make my skin greasy of shiney. I don't know how well it holds make-up, haven't tried yet as I feel no need for concealer using this. There are only two things that I dislike: 1) this cream is scented, and when I'm outside and it's windy the fragrance tends to sting and make my eyes water. Sounds worse than it actually is, but still, I would prefer a scent-free version. 2) those dark-circle concealing particles tend to make a thin white line inside of my undereye lines. No matter how little product I use they are always there by midday. This is a very effective eye cream and definitely worth the money. For me it's second best after Sisleya Eye Cream. Sisleya is more expensive, but anti-aging effects are similar if not superior to Shiseido's FP and Sisleya moisturizes even better and treats dark-circles without any bright particles or light diffusers, and is more gentle to my eyes.

I just started noticing a fine line- underneath the left eye and one creeping up underneath the right. I didn't think I would freak out as much as I did, purchasing this product. I had been using Chanel, Awake, and other high end eye creams for a while so it was clear I needed to up the ante. And this thing delivered. It looked to be a luxury hype but I was wrong- it really did lessen the depth of the lines by at least 30-40% just after a couple uses. The cream is thick but almost a balm/paste consistency, not very greasy at all, but sinks in fast. So far I am really impressed.

Around 31yrs, I noticed that my eyes were getting dry. I freaked out and tried all kinds of eye creams. Expensive and non. Then I found this product. This eye cream is light, not heavy like some creams out there. It also helps minimize dark circles, and lines. It is expensive, but lasts about three to four months. So I look at it as investment to look my best while getting older. People think I'm ten years younger than my age, so I think it's doing its job. Lol. I haven't tried the rest of the line yet, because I do tend to have sensitive skin. I have recently started using it around my lips and it seems to be okay so far. No break outs.

When I first bought this I was happy enough with it... It didn't work any miracles, but it kept my eyes hydrated enough. I discovered after the first week or so that I can't use it on my lip area because it breaks me out on my upper lip and the corners of my mouth. "Okay," I thought, "I'll just use it for eyes."
I've been using it every night for probably two months now and my reaction to it has gotten progressively worse. Lately I've been waking myself up in the middle of the night by scratching at my eyes (itchy, itchy!) and for the last week I've noticed that the lines around my eyes are actually WORSE than they were before. So this is going back ASAP. I'm just glad I saved the packaging and that I bought it at Nordstrom-- $150 eye cream should NOT require I take Benadryl every night and it should NOT emphasize fine lines. EPIC FAIL.

This product is fabulous. I went off it for about 6 months because I received Dr. Brandt's lineless eye cream as a gift. It seemed OK, but I started noticing deeper wrinkles when I smiled. Dr. Brandt is OK at slowing down the development of wrinkles but does nothing to get rid of them. I went back to Shiseido's Future Solution for Eyes/Lips and noticed an improvement right away. In 2 days, I noticed a big difference in wrinkles. You see results in days, not weeks. The puffiness under my eyes is all but gone. It is expensive so my only issue with this product is the cost. The larger dept stores usually have a Christmas special so I got the full size future solution eye cream and a bunch of other little goodies for the same price of what the eye cream would be by itself.

I have no idea why everyone love this! I could not stand it! It actually dried my eyes out really badly. Definitely not emollient enough for me on any level. I prefer the Benefiance anti-wrinkle for sure. I would gladly pay more than the price tag for the Future Eye, but it is not worth it at all. Save your money. The Benefiance line is much better!

I once thought this was the best eye cream ever and forked out a vast sum of money for it twice. It is excellent if you have very slightly crepey eyelids - something in the very thick sticky formula does help to tighten that area. However, since adopting a more informed regime with retinoids, SS and AHAs I don't have the eyelid problem anymore and simply cannot justify the expense. It's also fiddly using the spatuala then transferring to your fingers for application.

I have been looking FOREVER for something that would take away the crepey eyelid and smooth the area under my eyes. This is the next best thing to getting chemical peels. (and much more pleasant!!)
After two days, TWO!!! one of my really good friends said "your eyes look really good, did you tox? (botox)
Its not cheap, but I figure I have spent approx $600 so far this year trying different products to get this effect, so I'm not going to complain about the $125 price. People on this board are complaining about dipping their fingers into the jar, but it comes with a little spatula and I use that.
LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT
If you go to the Shiseido counter they will probably give you a sample, if its the packet it will last you about 5 uses.
*** Follow up 9/26/08 *** The honeymoon is over. I don' know if my skin got used to it or what, but it just doesn't seem to be doing the tick anymore....I swear I think I have more wrinkles now! I'm not going to repurchase. I'm going to give some other "miracle products" a try.

A very very good eye treatment. I used a couple of (huge) samples - in a jar that are almost queal to the content of a retail size.
I must say that I prefer to use this product at night and in winter: for summer days and mornings it may be a bit too thick & rich - furthermore in the mornings I need to use a gel-like texture for my puffiness, something with a lift effect (for that I use the Clarins Gel or Sisley Baume Efficace, that is just great).
Future solution is an excellent product for nourishing & softening the delicate eye area; when I use it, I wake up with a more refreshed eye contour. Recommend!! (costs a fortune, but last forever as you use really the tiniest amount) continued >>

I love all the Shiseido skincare I've tried, and this is no exception. It's incredibly thick, and you need an absolutely tiny amount at a time, so it'll last forever (I'm justifying spending $130 for this). It's not slippery-feeling, it's quite thick, and I definitely have to dab it on carefully and avoid any tugging. My eye area immediately looks a little brighter, and signs of wrinkles are diminished. I'm very pleasantly surprised by how well it works, and I'll definitely repurchase once I get through this jar.

I first tried this product as a free sample, but was sufficiently impressed to go back and buy the full size almost straight away! It's truly one of the most effective eye products I've ever used. Dark circles and general discoloration are diminished, and any crepeyness (especially on the eye lid) is reduced. Crows-feet-type fine lines are slightly reduced too, though not banished altogether. Overall, the skin around the eye looks firmer, brighter and lighter. I'm usually very intolerant of eye creams and gels, which can easily make my eyes watery and puffy - for example, the Molton Brown one was agony on me - yet this formula seems completely benign in that respect and never causes any problems. You can apparently use it on the lip area too, but I don't find it as effective there and have other products I prefer for lip conditioning. It's very pricy, but the pot just goes on for ever, so I honestly think this would prove every bit as cost-effective as the cheaper brands (with the added bonus that it actually works!!). Oh, and the packaging is lovely - a very expensive looking dark glittery metallic container, with stand and mini spatula. I just would not be without this now.
