Overall rating: I gave this product three lippies becasue although I can't use it, it might be useable by other MUA populations (see below). This eyeliner is described on the Pure Luxe Web site as a "light lavender shimmer with red, violet, and silver highlights." I pride myself on having a good color sense regarding undertones, but try as I might, I can never see these subtle sparkles or shimmers of other colors within an eyeshadow shade (unless it a duochrome), no matter who the manufacturer is! So, to me this just looks like the "light lavender shimmer." This is so light that I can't imagine anyone using it as a liner, but it might look pretty on the lower waterline (which I don't do) to brighten the eyes. Alternatively, it may look stunning on women of color, but I'm really pale. I tried this as a shadow, and although it was pretty, I could barely tell it was on my lids. However, it seemed too dark to use as a brow bone highlighter, so I'm RAOKing it to an old MUA friend.

I was worried about how lavender/purple would look on me. I'm asian and sone purple made my eyes look like i've just been punched. But Helix is not so. Better used as a evening colour though.

This is a really light lavender shimmery shadow that can be used as a wash or highlight. The color is pretty, but it is VERY light and difficult to build up for any real color. I was not impressed with the way it looked when foiled, either.
