Lust is a pink - neutral, that comes off as being very natural. I also love how it has no sparkle/shimmer. It is just a pink neutral that has a high sheen, which makes ur lips look butter soft and very kissable, I guess that's why its called lust, lol. Xo

Great product from MAC. This is a fully opaque nude toned gloss. It is a darker, natural nude that is a bit darker than my natural lip pigmentation (to be fair my lips have virtually no pigment to them). This leans quite brown; less pink toned than other nudes. There is no shimmer. Very high gloss finish. Suits many skin tones but may not be as flattering on very pale skin because of the brown undertones.
This is fully opaque in a couple swipes on me. The wear time was an impressive 4-6 hours, likely because the formula was a bit sticky (I don't mind stickiness) and very pigmented. It wore fairly evenly on the lips as well. Quite a forgiving formula - it didn't make my lips looks any drier than usual.
The traditional MAC vanilla scent is pleasant and doesn't bother me at all. As for all MAC products, the packaging is sleek and simple (if not a bit tiny). But you do get a significant amount of product compared to their other lines of glosses.

LOVE this color! I remember it was my first lipglass from MAC and here I am ten years later and I still love this color. It's perfect for work, going out on the town for the night, just quickly throwing some lipgloss on to leave the house. It goes great w literally everything! Cannot rave about this color enough. Plus it smells really good :)

This color on me is just a little darker than my natural lip color. It's a nice, warm, pinky-nude with no extra shimmer or pearl. Just straight-up shine. Looks fine alone and really nice with lightly lined lips. I might try it over another lipstick. I'd have given it one more lippie if it was just a little bit darker. This is a nice close-to-nude color on me.

I was really looking for a complimentary nude shade of lip gloss. I had purchased C-Thru but after wearing it out for a week and giving it a chance, I found it was too pale for my skin tone. So back I went to the MAC store and the attendant showed me Lust. Initially I thought it might be too dark in the tube for what I was going for, but once I put it on I knew I had found the right the lipglass. It's a perfect go-to everyday tint. It has enough coverage to mute my naturally rosey lips. It makes a great compliment to a light smokey.

This is the BEST lipproduct I ever bought. IMO, it doesn't stick as much as other lipglasses in some weird way. This is just the perfect color for a very light skin. I'm really in love with this product and will buy again without even thinking.

Wow! So i had a B2M at a mac freestanding store and couldnt decide on what to get. I have kind of been over mac lipglosses and mac in general. However i decided to get something as it was going to be free anyway and boy im glad i picked this up! After years of being into mu and searching for a good mlbb shade this is IT (at least i hope! Lol) ive tried mac cthru, vg5 lipstick and gloss, n1,n2,prr, florabundance, boy bait, nymphette, freckletone, jubilee, hug me, cutester, fresh brew, and some LE lippys i cant remember names of and several lipsticks and glosses from other lines both high end and low searching for a good nude mlbb shade. This is a neutral pinky brown that is very natural looking and i rather like that its not a frost. Will def purchase in the future when my b2m tube is done!! Nc30-35/mufe 127 latina dark hair dk brown eyes for reference.

Gorgeous gorgeous gorgeous!!! Good gracious, it must have been four years since I've begun searching for a MLBB color! This gloss on me is an ever so slightly milky brown pink, with a bit of peachiness to it so that it doesn't look too cool. I'm NC15-20 right now and it compliments my skin so well! I read EVERY SINGLE review about this lg before getting it, so I knew perfectly what I was going for. Some people said that its ls counterpart from MAC is Hug Me, some said Cosmo, but to me, Hug Me is a tad more brown and Cosmo is a lot more plummy. I love the MAC lg formula, the staying power is great, the scent is always amazing, what more can I ask for? This is the perfect everyday shade that I can whip out of my bag and apply without a mirror. Will repurchase! Lust has become my number 1 BACK2MAC choice :)

MAC Lust is a soft pinkish-brown lipglass, and it is my favorite lipglass that MAC has to offer. With my NC40 skintone, this color looks very natural. The formula is sticky, does not dry out my lips, and has a pleasant vanilla scent. It looks absolutely gorgeous by itself, but if you are looking for a lipstick to pair with this lipglass, I suggest MAC Hug Me or Revlon Colorburst Lipstick in Blush. MAC Lust retails for $14.50 for 4.8 g/.17 oz. If you are looking for a cheaper alternative, try NYX Mega Shine Lip Gloss in Natural.

I get it, I love this against my NW25 skin.
I only wish it was not so expensive!

I bought this pinky-brown gloss hoping it would be an everyday color. I'm NC30 and it looked too muddy on me. I prefer MAC VGV and much prefer Chanel Giggle for a shade in this range. But Lust looked beautiful on my Mom who is NC20/25 - I gave it to her.

This is a great nude pink gloss. I did not think I'd ever be able to find a nude type lip color. They looked too brown or too dead. This is lovely. It is not flat and is a pink brown nude. Looks natural but more subdued than my lips. I do have color to my lips so this runs more pink on me but not unnatural frosty or baby pink. Great find and I think it is neutral enough to go with many makeup looks. I am about nc20 but not very warm. In the tube this looks milky brown but try it on-it really is pretty!

This color is the perfect MLBB shade. My mom, who is really particular about makeup, always compliments my lips when I wear it. Lust, Nars Hopi, and Burt's Bees Rhubarb are my top three favorite lip products and Lust definitely gets the most wear. The reason for four lippies is that the cap has a crack on it that leaks product all over my fingers whenever I use it. I don't know how it acquired the crack since it mainly sits on my desk I'm willing to put past it though.

Very nice gloss for my lips, I love that its opaque on its own and I dont need a lipstick to wear underneath. nc40 for ref.

I absolutely love this! This perfectly matches my medium/tan skin NC42! Although it has the tendency to be sticky at times, the staying power is good! I love the natural color it gives my lips! My lips are pretty pigmented itself and this just gives my lips a dramatic nude. Will definitely repurchase!

I'm not a fan of this at all and returned it to MAC. It turned orange on my lips, which apparently means it had too much nude-brown in it for my cool-toned skin. Also, it seemed to pool around flakes on my lips and I suspect it even created some. I find lipglasses to be much better over a lipstick base. This one was just a bad color match and without shimmer, it did no favors for my lips. Back to my trusty pink Origins Liquid Lipcolor in Really Rosy, which is much more flattering.

Lust is one of the prettiest pink lip glosses I've ever seen. I just prefer lipsticks.
Update: Lust IS the best pink lip gloss out there! LOL

I love this lipglass! (Lust) Is a fabulous your lips but better shade. It's a little sticky like all the lip glasses, but lasts a very decent amount of time. The stickyness is not that bad. I love the little vanilla scent it has. It is basically a beautiful shade. Probably my favorite lipglass so far. Def. recommend if you're looking for a lipglass with no glitter and a beautiful natural color!

Having bought this only a few months ago, I'm already well into my second tube.
Lust is a beautiful nude - perhaps a hair too brown on someone with my coloring (hence four lippies) - but beautiful nonetheless, and I reach for it frequently because it just goes so well with both day and evening looks. The formula is VERY opaque, so it's possible to rock this without liner or lipstick -- though the staying power is obviously not nearly as good.
Either way, Lust is a staple in my kit, and (obviously) I will keep repurchasing!

I love this lipglass because my upper lip is very pigmented and its hard for me to find a natural looking lipgloss that will even out my lips and go well with my skin tone. This is a pinky brown color and its very sticky. i like the stickiness though because the color stays longer on my lips. I found that the color is very similar to Hug Me lipstick which is one of my favorite lipsticks, but Hug me is a Lustre formula.
I get the most compliments with this lipglass.
