Great sunscreen! It's not greasy, it absorbs wells and it's mineral-based. I have very acne-prone, sensitive skin and this doesn't make me break out...basically, a miracle. It's a daily must-use. I love Zia.

Great stuff, non-greasy, perfect for my combination skin. I wish it is higher SPF.

I've been using this for years. Others have described its many charms, I just like that it doesn't break me out for make my Aromaleigh mineral makeup wear strangely. I've never met a Zia product I didn't like.

It doesnt have good uVA protection. You will tan using this and it is not meant for hot-humid summer days. But in other seasons it is actually a great sunscreen for oily, acneic skin. It provides a matte finish for several hours and will not slide off your face. Solid but the UVA is bad which makes it kind of meaningless unless its winter i suppose. Too bad becasue I actually do like the formulation on my skin.

I have been using this sunscreen almost every day for the past 5 months based on recommendations here at MUA. It is by far the best sunscreen I have found for my combination skin. I normally get a little oily in my T-zone around mid-day and use a blotting paper. This product does not make me any more oily, and NO breakouts. It feels very light going on, and after letting it settle for a few minutes, I put on my regular mineral makeup and never know I am wearing sunscreen. I am tickled pink to find an everyday facial sunscreen that works for people who don't need extra moisture. I am getting ready to place another order for it online and find the price very reasonable.

I've had this sunscreen for more than a year and it does a good job as a face sunscreen. I bought this after reading the reviews on MUA. The only place I found this sunscreen is through WholeFoods, but recently I haven't been able to find it in their store. Luckily, the customer service told me I can make a special order without extra cost! I love WF! What attracted me to this sunscreen is the light weight feeling. I can't feel or smell I put the sunscreen on. I agree with some of the users in that when applying it, it feels greasy, but then it dries into a sort of powdery feel. I think that powdery feel keeps my oily face at bay with the exception when it's a really hot day. Although there are other sunscreens with a light weight feel, I prefer using something more natural than chemically induced sunscreen that gets asorbed into my skin everyday. Another great thing about this sunscreen is that it complements the mineral makeup I use. A great base that lasts all day!

I am excited about this product. I know that I must use sunscreen and like so many people I hate the feel, the shine, the idea of using layers of product. This is one thing that I use over my serum that is able to protect, hydrate, and provide some solid antioxidant protection. I love the matte finish and the fact that I have not gotten oily throughout the day like I used to. Also, this sunscreen is relatively cheap. 1.7 oz. for $17.95. Good price.

Despite my fair skin that freckles and burns and is the perfect candidate for future skin cancer, I haven't gotten in the habit of using a daily sunscreen simply because I detest that sunscreen smell and feel. This product might change that. While this has the characteristic sunscreen feel and smell when you initially put it on, it fades in about ten seconds or less. The lotion sinks right in, leaving the skin with a smooth, velveteen finish that rivals the claims of the best makeup primers. I use bareminerals and even if this moisturizer did not have the glorious skin benefits that it does (30 spf and all sorts of anti-aging/anti-oxidant ingredients), I think I would use it simply for the fact that i gives my skin the finish of a porcelain doll's (if porcelain dolls had...you know...soft skin) and makes a smooth canvas for makeup. It also keeps my skin looking healthy and plump throughout the day. I should mention that I don't technically own the product. My mom owns this and as I've been home for the holidays, I've been using it frequently (I haven't been sneaking it, she doesn't mind sharing her products with me). I plan on buying it when I go back to school. Oh, and you only need the teensiest, tiniest amount. I constantly find myself with too much on my hands, even if I only squeeze out a pearl-size amount. I just rub the extra on my chest or shoulders. So, it actually isn't that expensive, considering you need so little.
UPDATE: Yes, I buy this myself now. On my second tube, and use it every single day. Worth the price. I use more than I used to (especially on these summer days), simply to make sure I get proper skin protection. I love it.

I like this sunscreen a lot. I have the SPF15 verision, but it seems to protect my face and hasn't caused any breakouts after almost two months of use. The sunscreen has a slight plasticy smell at first, but it fades quickly and it doesn't bother me. I don't think it actually controls oil like it claims to on the zia website's product description(at least for me), but it very, very lightly moisturizes my skin and leaves it very smooth. I don't wear foundation, just face powder, and this is a perfect base for it. I would definitely repurchase, but will try the SPF30 next time (my Whole Foods only had the SPF15 when I was there). I do agree with the previous review though - I wish it came in a box though to help protect the product or had some kind of seal. Update: I just bought my second tube of this sunscreen (I still couldn't find the SPF 30 version at WF though). This product is very gentle and non-irritating and just seems to really agree with my skin. I don't notice the scent anymore either. Great product for sensitive skin!

Edit 5/19/12- after researching sunscreens I discovered this has very poor UVA coverage, hence my change to a 1 rating and I would not buy again.
I absolutely love this product!! I am 37 and have neglected using a face sunscreen due to the fact that my skin is extremely oily, acne prone, and sensitive. I use about a pea size for my entire face and it soaks in almost immediately with no greasy residue. I use a mineral makeup on top and there is no streaking or caking. The only drawback with Zia products (or many others for that matter) is that there is no protective seal, which concerns me for contamination and freshness.

This is a UVA/UVB sunscreen with antioxidants and says its very water and sweat resistant. I basically like it because it doesn't leave a greasy afterfeel on my oily skin. This sunscreen rivals my other HG face sunscreen, which is Neutrogena's Dry Touch. I purchased a 1.8 oz tube of this from a health food store for $16.95. Very pricey when compared to Neutrogena. It took me 2 months of daily use to finish the tube up. The active ingredients are Avobenzone 1%, Benzophenone-3 6%, Octyl Methoxycinnamate 7.5%, and Octyl Salicylate 5%. I would probably repurchase this again, but probably quite infrequently since the Neutrogena one is more affordable.
