Thankfully I used the sample size of this. It smelt horrible and feels very synthetic. Worst of all, it made my face very oily and I broke out on my cheeks.

While this product never made me have breakouts, it was very greasy. My face becomes so oily after a few hours. Not repurchasing.

I have combo skin that's VERY acne prone and I LOVE this product! It's the only sunscreen that doesn't make me breakout. It's winter here in Delaware right now so there are places on my face that are flaky but because this is a bit creamy, it kind of takes care of that.

This sunscreen made my face oily and shiny. =.= I will not repurchase again.

The name of this product should be Laneige Sun Block Mild Star SPF32 PA++, but MUA doesn't allow "+" signs in the product name anymore.
Description of me: Asian with combination/acne-prone skin. Tans very easily but does not usually burn.
Initial impression: This product has an awful fragrance, very strong and synthetic-smelling. Because of that, I am taking away a lippie right off the bat. However, it does have some redeeming qualities: the texture is very good and it spreads easily without any need for slathering, and it does not leave a greasy afterfilm, which is very important to my already very oily skin. Also, when I apply this before foundation, I notice that it almost acts like a foundation primer to even out my skin texture and allow foundation to go on more smoothly. It increases the staying power of my foundation, too.
Prolonged use: I have been using this product almost daily for about three weeks and so far it has not broken me out. My skin has become a lot better lately, but I've made quite a lot of skincare changes, so I probably wouldn't attribute it to the sunscreen.
Effectiveness: As it is currently February in Toronto, I can't comment on the effectiveness of this sunscreen. I haven't tanned, but, then, it's February, so I probably wouldn't have tanned anyway even if I didn't wear sunscreen daily. I will update in the summer if it turns out to be less-than-effective.
Other comments: This sunscreen was $26 CAD for a 70 mL tube. This is the most I have ever spent on a sunscreen -- I told myself that my face deserved something better than that Coppertone crap.
Purchase again?: No. While this is a nice sunscreen, I'm sure there are many other sunscreens that can do the same thing without the nauseating scent. After I finish this tube I will look into buying an unscented or very lightly scented sunscreen, likely from another Asian manufacturer.
Overall rating: 5/5 for the texture, -1 for the frangrance. 4/5 overall. continued >>
