Love this color. It's the perfect shiney glassy baby pink to wear over pale pink and nude lipstick. It has a nice vanilla taste and isn't sticky. It has a nice smooth and comfy texture. It's the best lipgloss.

This is stunning! I don't however wear it on its own as it looks a bit boring and a tad frosty I pair this over saint germane and OMG wow sexy as hell! that glossy pearly light pink really adds character and brings saint germane out truly awesome combo IMO love this glass!!!!!

I really like this lipglass by MAC. This is an excellent gloss if you like to play up your eyes, making them dark and dramatic, as the color is subtle yet shiny. This way, your lips aren't competing with your eyes. The color is slightly milky/light, with a hint of pink. This is my go-to gloss, as I feel like they make my small lips look a bit bigger! I definitely recommend this!

Love this lip glass ! But I took off one lippie because I would never wear it alone. If I layer it over my fresh sugar lip treatment in honey it gives a nice MLBB effect, not too overdone. I prefer it over my nice buzz plush glass. It's just a one of a kind, iridescent, pearly pink that's impossible to find a dupe for. I'm an NC35 & for some reason I can't pull off any lipsticks or colored lip glosses (I look cheesy pairing it with my smoky eye make up). Those two (honey & oyster girl) are fantastic, especially at hiding a scar I have on my lip. Awesome staying power but a tad sticky. Sometimes it gets past my lip line but nothing a light powder won't fix. If you pair it over a lipstick or lip stain, it's flattering for any skin tone ! Worth the $14. If you get any lip glass from mac, this is a must have a long with love nectar. continued >>

This is another lipglass I've been buying since middle school (I'm now 22) and love it just as much. I always get so many compliments on it since it really is such an unique shade. I pair it with almost anything and love the pinky iridescent glow it gives any color.

Very pretty pale pink colour. I have to be careful not to apply too much however as it can end up looking a little too pale/milky, but otherwise its a nice gloss for a nude pinkish lip hue on my NC30 skin tone.

I was looking for a light-coloured pigmented lipgloss, to neutralize my usually very red lips. When I sampled it at the Mac counter, it was pretty horrific. The girl gave me a brush to sample it with and not a wand (which it actually comes with). I think the brush deposited way too much product because it was a nasty white milky mess on my lips, but it was very pigmented so I took a chance with it.
I've been using it for a couple of weeks now and I love it. Its become my go-to gloss for everyday wear. I've noticed though that I HAVE to put balm on my lips first to prep them. If I dont, the gloss doesnt deposit evenly and gets a little clumpy and gross.
It IS a very sticky gloss (again, the balm does help this out). But I think that that is why it lasts for a long time. So I am ok with it.
Ultimately, I will keep searching for a highly pigmented soft pink gloss that isnt sticky and lasts. But that may never be found :) Im open to suggestions friends!!

This looks gross on me. It's milky and looks strange. I read a comment that another reviewer made (she said it looked like semen on her lips) and I couldn't agree with her more! Not a cute look ladies.

Here is how I came to purchase this gloss. A couple of weeks ago while out to dinner I saw this woman with an amazing lip color. I asked what she was wearing and she said she was wearing Mac Blankety l/s with Prr l/g. I was obsessed with recreating that lip look, but she was a very fair blond, and I have tan/olive complexion with dark hair/eyes. Well, after many tries I came up with the perfect dupe for my skin tone, it is with Oyster Girl l/g over Modesty l/s. On my pigmented lips I get a neutral, pink with silver sheen. So beautiful in the evening, especially in candle light. I really love this gloss. I have nothing else that looks like it on my lips and its perfect for the look I wanted.

Oyster girl is this beautiful soft pink. It looks amazing over nude or pink lipsticks, but what really seals the deal for me is how it neutralises bright lip colours!! Take Rebel for example. Being NW20, it's too bold for me to really wear in the daytime. But a quick slick of this and POW!! It becomes a gorgeous soft, light purple, similar to "Up The Amp". Still bold, but much more wearable. I recommend this lipgloss to all, whether you like bold or nude lips, you can put this over ANYTHING and it'll look amazing, or you can wear it alone and it's perfect for work. A must have item :D

I, Like the reviewer below, have passed on oyster girl so many times. Every time I've gone to the mac counter & swatched on my hand, I've given it a pass thinking the colour would look awful on my lips. But I've been surprised by lipglasses before & knowing that this is a little legend that's been popular for a while, I thought why not? & hey presto, it's lovely! It certainly doesn't disappoint with it's pearly, pale pinkish almost nude with lavender colour. Beautiful over pink lipstick. continued >>

Love this lipgloss! Really pretty shade and also goes really well with lipstick on top. My only complaint would be that it's a tad bit sticky.

For me this colour was a bit disappointing. Maybe all the rave reviews, and also the MA at MAC really liked this colour, gave me unrealistic expectations. Anyways it just simply doesn't seem to go too well with my naturally garish dark, highly-pigmented purple lips! Maybe it would look better on someone with naturally pink lips instead. It made me look washed out because it is so much paler than my natural lip colour. I still like it and I'd still use it on casual days, when I want to look like I'm not wearing makeup and have a sorta nude look. (My natural lips are so dark they look like I'm wearing lipstick when I'm not, so I guess pale shades like this one can help to tone them down.)

I first tried this product in high school and have been in love ever since! This is a staple of mine and is always lingering in one of my bags. My lips are very pigmented and the shimmer that this creates is gorgeous!!

My - and many other girls that I know! - first MAC purchase. A beautiful, milky pink with subtle gold iridescence. This is a very popular product and with good reason. It's gorgeous on its own or over top of any lipstick, and is flattering on almost everyone. It's very shiny (as the name lipGLASS alludes) so your lips look luscious and wet with this on, however it is very thick and sticky. I think this is a staple in any collection and should be tried at least once! I have seen casual makeup wearers have this in their makeup bags...it's pretty and not crazy or bold.
