This moisturizer was fairly average for me, not amazing but not bad. On a good note, it did not irritate my skin or cause any breakouts. However, I don't think I got too much benefit from it either and it did not really help the dry patches on my cheeks. I used up the jar after 4 months of almost nightly use on my face and neck. Not a fan of the packaging because I don't think jars are too hygienic...

My saving grace. I had had a bad reaction to an acne system and developed the dryest skin all over my face, with rashes, red patches, and bumps. On my way to Target to buy some lotion I went to Marshall's and stumbled upon this little gem. This moisturizer is absolutely amazing, It calmed my skin down immediately and made it baby soft. I now use it every night along with my usual acne skin regimen (face wash, toner, skip the harsh moisturizer and use this) and it does not break me out. Plus at Marshall's it was only $7.99 I believe. I only wish it would come in a tube (just a personal preference), it comes in a jar with a little scooper but there isn't that much. So far mine has lasted a month with daily use. I totally recommend this for sensitive skin or acne-prone skin. Might be a little heavy in the summer though,

So I tried this about a year ago and didnt love it. Looking back I think the discounted jar I had gotten went bad. Smelled weird (not natural smelling weird, but "off"). Anyway, picked this up again at marshalls and this time checked the smell and to see if it was sealed well. It smelled like I would expect - natural, but good. Not perfumey at all. I LOVE THIS CREAM! FYI: My chin is a mess most of the time. Trying to get rid of cystic acne scars with retinols, aha, microdermabrasion, etc. leaves my skin red and raw on any given day. This completely tones down the redness and moisturizes it soooo well! I use it during the day and night. It will probably be too moisturizing during the summer for daytime use, but for right now this winter this is all i am using and it is wonderful. AND...it has not broken me out - miracle.

ok so Im a bad, bad girl with very very sensitive (and even pre-rosacea stage, I am beginning to realise) who can't keep her hands off fancy retinol products - and guess what every time instead of looking 10 years younger and erasing my forehead wrinkles I end up with red, scratchy patches and red cystic pimples on cheeks and jawline -- arrrhgh!
I've had this jar in my cosmetic cabinet for a few weeks, thinking it's too heavy for summer but yesterday decided to give the retinol a break and just use this instead.
Woke up with luminous skin, no new breakouts and existing pimples/scarves visible 'calmer'. Now that's a miracle! Will keep on using this and retire the angry retinol (perhaps use on back of hands instead). And now I've learned my lesson..

LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE!
I found this randomly at TJ Maxx and thought I would give it a try...LOVED IT! I try not to put it on every night (I like giving my skin a rest every now and then) but the nights that I do put it on, I wake up with the smoothest skin.
During the winter and spring my nose seems to dry out very fast (the side and the tip of my nose). The first time I tried this cream, I put a bit more on that area and woke up nice and smooth!
My skin feels tight, corrected, even, smooth all throughout the day. It's amazing stuff! This is seriously a God send!!! As an Asian-American woman, we take skin care to the extreme and this product is something that I will use for LIFE!
I have been getting more and more compliments on my skin since using this product!

I love it! absorbs super fast, soo creamy and my skin doesnt feel oily in the morning! Very moisturizing and the texture is amazing! The smell is good but i think it has too much perfume in the product. There isnt a lot in a little pretty pot.. it only lasted me about 1.5 month :/
but i will definitely repurchase! :D

I have combination skin that is very oily in the t-zone and extremely dry in other areas to the point of flakiness. I bought this moisturiser hoping it would deliver but it didn't. It absorbed quickly into my skin but didn't do a very good job of hydrating it overnight. I think there may have been a small improvement in overall skin tone but I could not continue to use this as my skin was starting to flake in some areas. It's probably better for people with oily/normal skin.

Not bad, but a little on the thick side. I have oily skin so creme moisturizers are not my favorite but i decided to try this anyway due to the rave reviews on this site. The first week was amazing! My skin was bright and super supple in the morning, but as i went further and further into the jar, the results started to diminish. Probably won't buy again.

This is truly a wonderful night cream! I have a very oily t-zone with large pores, but this moisturizer feels extremely light and decadent on my skin. It doesn't make my skin oily at all, it makes it feel supple and youthful. Best moisturizer I've ever used. I will buy this product as long as it's available!

I read the reviews on this product and decided to buy it. I'm not super impressed nor super disappointed. I've only been using it for a few days. I think it's good for keeping the skin moisturized, but not greasy. I don't see where it's improving any fine lines though. The smell isn't great, but it isn't bad either.Overall I'll finish using the product, but I don't think I will buy it again.

This is the first night cream that I've actually stuck with. I have oily/combination skin and it doesn't feel greasy or heavy on my face, just soft. In the morning my skin feels moisturized and smooth- not greasy at all. The only downside is that I get that song stuck in my head every time I use it but I think it's worth it =)

I have been dying to try this for years and finally bought it after I saw this at Marshall's for less than five dollars. It doesn't have the best scent, but the consistency is smooth and I can see it instantly working. My face seemed more even toned and soft in texture. The box comes with a small spatula so that you don't have to dip your fingers in the glass pot. It contains walnut extract that is good for exfoliating and clearing the skin. This feels decadent and is a great treatment for those with oily, congested skin or for those fighting early aging signs. I apply at night and wake up to skin that glows and that is hard to accomplish with my sort of skin. It hasn't broken me out or caused any irritation which I was worried about. I look forward to trying the other skincare products in the line and I highly recommend this.

I'll come back and edit this later with the full review, but I can't believe I haven't reviewed this before! Just wanted to leave this note saying I've used it for six months and it's the most incredible skincare product I've ever used. just buy it! under $15 at vitacost- absolutely worth it.

Bought this at Winners for $10?
I have dry skin, and have been using Shiseido for the morning and Clinique's anti-oxidant night cream at night, and when I was running out of it, I decided to give this a try.
I really don't like the smell, and there was so little in the jar. The product itself is nice, I suppose. I wake up in the morning smooth and supple, but when I touched my face, there were bits of cream pilling and rolling on my cheeks (grossss... ) It's like when you shower, and then you start to scrub your skin with your towel, and you get those little specks of rolled up dirt and skin. Anyway, I really didn't like that. So I returned it.

After all the great reviews, I was expecting to be wowed by this little jar. I wasn't. I'm always on the hunt for a great moisturizer and was hoping to find something cheaper than Philosophy's Miracle Worker (which I am now returning to.) So I picked this up and ... was pretty underwhelmed. It makes a decent daily moisturizer in taking away any dryness but it doesn't make me glow or improve my skin in any way. I'm now at the end of the jar and still feel like it's all quite average. Won't repurchase.

So once again, based on the reviews here and my frquent visits to TJ Maxx, I perused the Beauty dept aisle of my local TJ Maxx and discovered this walnut moisturizer. I have no idea how old it is but I paid about $8.00 for it. It is a thick beige colored cream in a jar. I have been using for a week and my skin feels softer and has a glow in the morning!
I gave some to my friend who is about 10 years older than I - and she loved it so much she went and bought some too. I also bought the "Forget Your Lines" serum from Nature's Gate.

LOVE this moisturizer. I normally use Weleda Skin Food on my face at night because it is a heavy, all natural moisturizer that leaves my skin dewy in the morning. After reading the reviews for this stuff, I had to see how the two compared. I still prefer to use Skin Food at night because it's much more moisturizing, but Oh What a Night has become my new favorite daily moisturizer. The smell is lovely, the quality is fantastic, and it absorbs into the skin well so you can apply it before makeup. The ingredients seem to make my complexion "glow," and as one reviewer mentioned, it helps to fade redness and acne scarring. My only complaint is the packaging. It's cute but it contains very little product (about a month's worth). However, you can purchase it relatively cheap at Vitacost. Highly recommend!
**UPDATE**
It's been about 2 months since I began using this, and it seems to have lost its efficacy :( It may be because my skin has become too accustomed to it, or because it's not as moisturizing in colder weather. Whatever the reason, about 5 minutes after I apply this in the morning, my skin is dry and deprived of moisture once again. I have now adopted a new favorite daily moisturizer and it hydrates MUCH better in cold weather: Avalon Organics Vitamin C Renewal Facial Cream.

Amazing natural moisturizer that's paraben-free! I'm trying to get most of the chemicals out of my natural beauty products and this night cream fits the bill. I think it's perfect for combo skin like mine., It's not greasy at all,. absorbs really well in the skin and brightens my complexion., I have a lot of red marks and acne scars and when I put this on at night, I wake up with smooth,. clear, brighter and fresh looking skin., It has a slight walnut smell that's not offensive,,. no added fragrance., the walnut smell is because it has walnut in it., I love it because I don't feel like a greasball when I go to bed,. yet I'm still moisturized.
My only complaint about this is the small size. But compared to some of the most expensive creams that don't deliver, I'd say it's afforable in the long run., It's $12 from Amazon and Vitacost. The prices seem to vary on this particular cream,. so instead of buying at whole foods,. you are probally better off ordering it with discounted shipping and save money., I plan to stock up on it., I figure one small jar may last about 30-45 days. Even though it comes in a jar, it does come with a scoop to prevent contamination. Something I would like to see all jar creams come with.
I encourage the "Natural" and Organic people to try to this cream, Some natural products don't deliver, but this one definitely does!!!

Hmm, i would definitely give this product a 4.3 instead of 4 if the site allows, i didn't really believe in the "glowing" skin next day after using the cream-reviews but im on my 4th day of using and i guess i was too tired in the mornings to check on my skin. Today, i was shocked at the brightness of my face, usually my skin looks dull whole day but wow, i used a lil more cream last night and it proved to me that this renewal night cream works.
I'm glad i tried it but the price is very expensive for me, $39SGD. I hope it can last for 3 months and i will update the rating to 5 lippies. :)

Overall, a nice moisturizer. I have oily skin and I particularly don't like applying any type of cream with heavy consistency on my face, therefore I probably won't be buying this again. I wanted to give this a try because of all the good reviews and I found it to be a good product. However, I like to stick to something really light weight or gel consistency so I don't use this anymore.
