Love this one. Itīs my daily moisturizer in summertime and it works great for me. It contains thermal water, which soothes my skin and makes my skin feel soft. It doesnīt cause breakouts and doesnīt clog my pores.
Update 28/01/2012:When I read the review again, I found the description sounding kind of "boring and blah". Which I want to correct. I tried Dermalogica, Kiehlīs, Dr. Hauschka, Weleda and many other brands and no moisturizer could provide, what I was searching for:
No silicones
No parabenes
No comedogenic ingredients
Hyualuronic acid
Vitamin E
Itīs true, that there are no fancy ingedients in this moisturizer, but that is why I can combine it with serums or oils.
I combine it with hydrating B5 or CE ferulic serum and in wintertime with a few drops of biological rose oil. I also ordered the Dermalogica skin hydrating booster and the multi-active toner to combine it. And it works so well!
So many possibilities to combine it without bad reactions.
For me, itīs an awesome product and I always come back to this.
Update 17/03/2012: After trying several other creams from organic brands like Trilogy I admit that this is hands down the best moisturizer for my weird combo-sensitive-allergic-to-organic-skincare-acne-prone-dehydrated skin. Keeps my skin calm and in the best condition possible. I add one drop of the Dermalogica skin hydrating booster and get the perfect hydration for my skin. Period.

Like the gentle gel cleanser (from the same range) I think this is an excellent product. Its a simple, calming and hydrating mosturiser. Unfortunately its not moisturising enough for my dry & dehydrated skin but I think it would be perfect for normal or combo skin. continued >>

I don't really know whether I like this moisturizer or not. It's very lightweight, has great soothing effects, it really decreased my redness alot, hydrates my face very well but it doesn't seem to help with my acne problem, in fact i have some bumps when using it. However, I really like the texture and calming effect of the moisturizer when I have dehydrated skin. Now that I have found moisturizing lotion, I'm switching over to that to hydrate my skin and decrease sensitivity.

i bought this product thinking that it would help to 'calm' the redness on my cheeks... and that my skin is so sensitive; i thought that this moisturizer would help... and though the first few times i used it it seemed to be helping, but in the long run it was just blah... after a while i started to hate the idea of rubbing the nonabsorbing too thick cream into my face, and i even started to hate the smell of it... i tossed it in my gym bag, and one morning after forgetting my bag in the trunk of my car, the lotion was frozen.. i thawed it and tried it a time or two more, but i ended up cutting my losses and just threw it away... it wasn't that great to begin with.

I'm fairly sure this isn't the same as the other moisturizers listed for Avene. This may only be sold in Europe (I live in Belgium). I'll give it a 4 since I like it but I've only been using it for a week or so.
I was looking for something to soothe my dry winter skin. Normally I'm combo/acne-prone, but with my current routine and it being winter, my skin is rather dry at the moment (see my notepad for more details on my routine). An Avene sunscreen is my HG, so I thought I'd try some kind of Avene moisturizer, but I didn't want something with a lot of active ingredients to mess up my anti-acne/aging regimen. This "emulsion" seemed to fit the bill.
It's very light, and my skin feels smooth without feeling loaded down or oily. I put it on in the morning after cleanser and aspirin toner. I haven't tried it yet with sunscreen, so will update next month when I start wearing sunscreen again. It has a bit of a sweet "old lady" fragrance, but that fades quickly.
UPDATE: After using for a few weeks, I like it. It's a light, no-fuss moisturizer that keeps my face in better shape than others I've tried; no fancy active ingredients. Will update again when the weather gets warmer and I start wearing my Avene sunscreen again.
Here are the ingredients:
Avene thermal spring water, capric triglyceride (coconut oil), safflower seed oil, sucrose stearate, PEG 8, sucrose distearate, diethylhexyl succinate, benzoic acid, BHT, carbomer, chlorphenesin, disodium EDTA, fragrance, phenoxyethanol, sodium hylauronate, tocopheryl glucoside, triethanolamine.
