This is a basic moisturizer and find it to be a pure luxury product. That being said I really wanted to like it because it was very soothing to my skin and provided it with the moisture it needed especially for winter months, however, what I couldn't get past was the sticky/greasy feeling upon application. Because this reason I will not repurchase.

A great choice for normal and combination dehydrated skins as it restores moisture and leaves skin very smooth and glowing. It is a great moisturizer for younger skins that mine, so I will search for something more effective....

The moisturiser is a great base for foundation, making pores look smaller and providing a smooth finish. A nice moisturiser that feels light and pleasant.

Even though I have dry skin, I found this to be greasy/sticky and not well-absorbed. It didn't make me break out in the one week I used it, but it felt like it might if I continued to try it. I threw it away because I felt like it was not reaching my skin enough to combat dryness, and it just made my skin feel coated from the outside, so it was pointless to keep it.

I have been using this since 2004, off and on. When the economy is down, I switch to a drugstore brand. But when I can, I splurge on this. The smell is intoxicating -- fresh and clean. It's creamy but light and has never irritated my skin. I tried La Mer, La Praire, and some of the other high-end brands but I think Sisley's cucumber is the best for normal skin (even sensitive). Definitely my favorite!

Moisturizer with Cucumber is nice choice for normal/combination dehydrated skins, it restores moisture and leaves skin smooth and dewy. Skin practically drinks it up, since it's more like a gel than a cream. It can however turn too oily after a while. Doesn't break me out and doesn't irritate skin either. Has an understated fresh scent (doesn't seem natural though), a bit different from the other Sisley moisturizer jars that are more floral.
It's great and definitely works, but nothing spectacular or skin transforming. Just a basic moisturizer, for younger skins probably.

This product is my favourite mosturiser by a mile. My skin is super sensitive and reactive so I have to be wary of what I put on it .. I got a sample of it and instantly bonded with it, the texture feels like whipped air and sits reassuringly lightly over my face like a veil.. my reason for giving it the highest rating is due to its superb quality as a make up base. My skin is very dry so I feel hydrated continuously with it on, perhaps if my skin was oily it mightnt work. Its incredibly expensive of course but as is my motto - buy cheap buy twice..

my skin is oily/combination and i live in vegas, which made my oily skin very dry in my cheek area. I was looking for a a light moisturizer that can quench the thirst in my cheeks but not oily and shiny! i love this how this product is a creme but it is not heavy. it is in between a gel and creme...the texture is just right. My skin feels so smooth!

I've got a sample of this so first of all, and I definitely wouldn't buy it. Here's why. It's a very simple moisturiser with average properties, which I didn't find so intense. So, obviously, it's not worth the money. Also I do not like the smell, not at all. The ingredients don't seem to be very diverse and powerful. Finally, this cream is too rich and oily for my skin, so not a good choice for oily or combination skin. It does provide great hydration, but be careful. My face was oily all the time until I washed it all off with a cleanser. It could be a good idea to use this as a night cream, but I think it's too pricey for that. Your choice though.

This is a very basic face cream but my skin loves it. Have been using it in conjuction with sisleya elixir.I know there are better creams out there but right now I am sticking with this.

I really thought this is just an average moisturizer, with a very unreasonable price. to be honestly, kiehl's ultra moisturizer works just the same with 1/10th of the price. anyway, i wouldn't buy it again, no matter what the sales says

I received two samples, and tried them out. While I liked using it (very nice texture and scent as other sisley creams), I decided not to purchase it 1) because it was not moisturizing enought for my very dehydrated skin. 2) because of its ingredient list: it lists isopropyl myristrate (comedogenicity = 5 in sage's list) as one of the first ingredients. I didn't break out from this in the initial trial period, but am a bit afraid. 3) price 4) I could not see any improvement in my complexion (brightening, evening out skintone, or at least moisturizing, etc.). For this ingredient list (just mineral oil and some emulsifiers, cucumber extract is very down in the list), it's so unacceptable to charge this amount of $$$, IMO...

I love most of the Sisley products and have been using for years. This cream and ecological compound are my favorites. The cucumber cream is very hydrating, but never makes my face greasy. I have dry/sensitive skin and lives in the desert area with dry climate. It really helps keep my skin hydrated. My skin feels very soft. Love it! It works better than the Sisley intensive day cream and is cheaper. I will keep using it.

a really really good everyday moisturiser. suitable in any kinda weather. didnt cause any breakouts n didnt help to clear either, its not supposed to anyway. didnt cause any allergic reaction or irritation either. my skin is very sensitive n usually any kinda moisturiser i use will cause pimples n many times irritation but not this one! worth the price i guess. :)
UPDATE: after quite a while of using it...i noticed dat it gives me little reddish pimples. i dunno why? maybe the jar was contaminated?

Very basic moisturiser. Nothing extraordinary here (second ingredient is mineral oil) and cucumber extract is down the list (I don't know what's special about this ingredient BTW). Didn't break me out but far too expensive for such a basic product.
I tried a sample so I can't comment on the packaging.

This is my first Sisley purchase, I needed a moisturizer badly and wanted to try something new. I love this, soaks into my skin nicely and leaves it so soft. I have pretty dehydrated skin on the sensitive side and so far, I've used this for two weeks with no problems. The price is a little steep but a little product goes a long way, and if it continues to give me results, I'll repurchase.

I like moisturisers which leave my skin feeling dewy and this does that. It has a light texture and doesn't irritate my sensitive skin, it's a really nice product. A much cheaper product which I found had a similar effect was Cetaphil lotion, unfortunately it caused some reactions in my skin but I'd still rec trying it if you like this moisturiser.

Really good daily moisturizer, not too rich.
Smells wonderful and cooling.
It also makes my skin feels so soft. I don't like the jar packaging though.
