This is called a lotion, but "balm" is more accurate. The product is an off-white, solid product, made of: Unrefined, Pure Organic Golden Shea Butter (from Africa), Organic Essential Oils of Sweet Orange and Lavender, and that's it. I have to scrape some out onto my finger and let my skin warm it up a little. The way I use it is to pat it under my eyes to prevent the area from drying and crinkling during the day. I am not crazy about having to use my fingers in a tin because it seems unhygienic. I kind of doubt I will repurchase when this runs out.
