Disgusted. I am disgusted at myself for buying it, and disgusted by the product itself. I'm not sure which Emu oil I ordered, but it was an Australian one, which I ordered online because I'd read that it was a by-product of the emu meat which is eaten in Australia. Shame on me. I guess I deserve the cystic acne which erupted after one night's use, and the scars which it left. I felt so bad wasting it, that I attempted to use it on my legs, but the smell was revolting. There is no way to forget that this is the oil from a living creature, and shame on me for purchasing it.

I used Skin Bio and loved it and thought I would save a few dollars and buy an unlisted Australian Emu Oil. I question whether this is actually chicken fat. My two dogs went crazy sniffing and licking me. I'm not sure yet if the results will be the same but I'm going to stick with Skin Biology's oil

I bought this Emu oil with the essential peppermint oil because I had read reviews about the odor of the plain emu oil. This stuff is strong! The peppermint is so strong it makes my eyes water. Would not recommend this for anyones face. It makes your skin feel warm and somewhat tingly because of the strong peppermint oil. It has not been a total loss for me because I now put this oil on my lower back when I have pulled or strained it. This oil and a heating pad make my back feel better. I was hoping for a woderful facial moisurizer but this isn't it. Will not repurchase.

This is 100% Pure emu oil, and it really has a strong odor. I had to get used to putting something that smelled like chicken broth on my face. Amazingly, I did get somewhat used to the smell, but I quit using this under the mineral makeup. It was kind of thick & sticky, and the mineral makeup & brush would not work as smoothly. Plus, I just got tired of smelling this strong odor of chicken broth. It seemed to do more for my hair than it did on my skin anyway. continued >>
