I received this as a sample when i purchased a couple things from the website because I didn't really want to go all the way to the spa downtown. Anyways, I have a sensitive nose and this really bugged me. I can understand if some people enjoyed it, I really needed to purge when I smelled it. I ran around my house and had probably a 50/50 vote that it smelled good or not. Anyways, despite the smell, I tried it out in the shower and noticed that this scrub feels oily and heavy on my skin. It looked like it was going to live some film on my face. The kiwi seeds were too big and slippery to scrub on my face. It basically did absolutely nothing for my face. Thank god it was a sample. It was only something I would use to get that extra kick if I really felt sick to my stomach. I eventually emptied out the container to fill up something for travel.

This is a horrible scrub. So far this is the only MB product I don't like. I gave it a fair go to! I used almost the whole jar before throwing in the rag. It doesn't really exfoliate, there aren't a lot of the seeds in there, and they are waaaaay too big to actually get into your pores. I was not pleased, I could get better from neutrogena.

This was an okay facial scrub. It smelled nice and my dull skin looked fresh and bright after using it. This, however, was no different from the results I get from a plain old sugar exfoliation. So, while I liked the smell, I saw nothing special here. If I want to pamper myself, maybe I'll buy it. There are better MB products.

Smells **delicious**. I wanted to lick my face. I think people who get a vomit vibe from this may have received a rancid batch? I can't imagine that this stuff has a good shelf life.
But like others, I don't feel that this actually did very much for my face. The kiwi seeds are too large and sparse to accomplish anything without significant manual effort. Maybe there's some acidity? Active ingredients are marked as the algae extract and the seeds. Comes packaged in a tub, which I find somewhat unhygienic.
INGREDIENTS: Deionized Water,Stearic Acid, Algae Extract,Propylene Glycol Dipelargonate, Kiwi Seeds,PEG-8 Stearate,Cetyl Alcohol,Glyceryl Isostearate
Price: 15 USD for 4oz

I gave into this product after receiving a free sample of it. I honestly just really enjoyed the texture and smell of this product and decided I had to have it. But overall this hasn't really impressed me and it isn't really a scrub for me. The kiwi seeds are big and don't really do much to remove much dead skin. and most importantly I have had this for 6 months and have not noticed a difference in my skin. With or without it I feel like my skin still looks the same. It does not live up to its claims of being good for reducing blackheads. I love other mario badescu products but this one is not my favorite. I still do really love the way it feels on the face but not if it isn't doing anything and not enough to buy it again.

i really like this scrub. i use it 2x a week & it leaves my face super soft. my face feels refreshed and really clean afterwards. i will agree with some of the reviewers below that the seeds are a little messy, but this product has improved the appearance of my skin and hasn't broke me out. it's a little pricey, but for the amount of product you get it's worth it imo. continued >>

This is not bad at all. I think it works more on chemical level than mechanical. I mix it with queen helene aloe vera scrub and it works great like that.

I think I'm just echoing some other reviewers, but I'm not sure what the point is of this product. It's a nice creamy cleanser but doesn't do a wonderful job of making my face feel super clean. The seeds are completely useless and such a mess! I use this in the shower and I have seeds just everywhere and have to spend time spraying them down the drain. I also can't stand the packaging. Tubs for a daily cleanser is just messy and unsanitary. Won't be repurchasing this stuff.

I am not sure what this is supposed to do. It says that it's a kiwi scrub. Well, it does not smell like kiwi, but it is green. The seeds do very little in the way of exfoliating. I wondered if this was supposed to be some sort of a chemical exfoliant, but it really stinks and feels slimey. I'm glad I used a sample and did not purchase this! How disappointing.

This isn't a bad scrub, but it isn't great either. The ingredients aren't too impressive. Although my face DID feel smoother after I used this, I ended up returning this because I would rather use masks/chemical exfoliators to treat my skin rather than manual scrubs. Sorry MB!

This smells really nice, but im not sure what it really does. My face felt soft but the seeds in it do not scrub. I barely felt them on my face because there are only a few in there. I am currently using the sample and I know I wont order a full size.

I got this scrub in the sample size and i'm glad i did not order the full size.

PROS: This is one of the better smelling MB products. In fact, I noticed that all their scrubs are nice smelling.

CONS: The kiwi seeds are too huge for exfoliating although they are not as rough and abrasive than the almond and honey scrub. I felt it did Nothing as to what it claims 'Made with real Kiwi seeds and soft bits of Seaweed to naturally slough away surface dullness to uncover softer, smoother skin. Kiwi Seeds gently buff away dead skin cells skin while natural AHA’s breakdown dull build-up to prevent blackheads and improve overall texture'.

Overall, I did not like this scrub at all, it did nothing to my face. Their scrubs doesn't seems to be on par in terms of effectiveness as the rest of their products I've tried.

A scrub?! Really?! This is just green slime with some kiwi seeds in it. Not a scrub at all and leaves my skin feeling in dire need of being washed properly after use. If I could give it a big, fat minus ten I would. Complete fail in every way imaginable. Glad it was a free sample, but really, waste of plastic for the little jar it is contained in. Into the bin it goes!

I really wanted this stuff to work, because it smells AMAZING. But it made me break out, and it does not exfoliate. The kiwi seeds stick to your fingers, and the few that get on your face do not do anything to exfoliate your skin. If they would actually grind up the seeds to make them smaller, this would be an awesome exfoliater, it smells delicious.

This does nothing. I have no idea why they peg this as an exfoliant, because it exfoliates as much as a creamy cleanser could! The kiwi seeds are too few and have zero exfoliating power. I received this as part of the sample pack, but would never buy this on my own. Its only redeeming quality is that it smells nice!

This shouldn't be called a scrub, and "cleanser" doesn't cover it either. I could practically count the kiwi seeds per ounce, they did absolutely nothing. The texture is like runny glue...but glue might actually do something. Altogether, it feels like a cheap, cheap, cheap cleaning-type product. Smell is plasticky and gross; leaves your skin tacky.
One of the worst products I've ever tried. I do love the Drying Cream!

It worked better than the strawberry face scrub but it does need to have more seeds in it so you can exfoliate better otherwise its kinda pointless to buy. it was OK but u have to rub it around a lot so the seeds can get to your whole face.

This scrub sits in no mans land!!! its works neither like a scrub nor is it suffice as a cleanser.
Has no exfoliating qualities, the creamy base does nothing much as rubbing sorbolene ontos ones face and then rinsing off....
The only good thing about this product is that it does nothng to irritate the skin since it doesnt do much i suppose. But its not worth its price,,,,any drug store scrub would perform better than this.
Another pro is that it does have a nice fruity scent.

The consistency is very soft and creamy, has a very 'rich' feeling. What I don't get is how it's a "scrub". It basically works as a creamy cleanser. The few scattered kiwi seeds hardly provide any kind of exfoliation. They are also too big and too few to be effective. I felt like I had to rinse my face with water several times to get all the creamy feel off my skin. My face did look very clean afterwards, but I give it two lippies because it does not work as a scrub at all. Will not buy again.

Now, this scrub is great!
It does a great job in eliminating the dirt&debris in my clogged pores and it smells divine. Plus, the kiwi seeds aren't to harsh for my skin, whish is super-ultra-mega sensitive; I also like that it has seaweed bits in it which are sooo soooo good for improving the skin's elasticity.
A big PLUS for this scrub. xxxxx MB continued >>
