I really thought this moisturiser would be for me, but I was disappointed. I have pretty dehydrated skin, but it still won't absorb and leaves a sticky film. It also contains mineral oil and I suspect that it is clogging my pores.

From the Mario Badescu webpage:
“Hyaluronic Acid and Pentavitin blend locks in skin’s natural moisture while the nourishing and antioxidant benefits of Vitamin A keep skin, smooth and soft. Daily, moderate sun protection added for anti-aging benefits to keep skin looking young and healthy. Easily absorbed, non-greasy formula”
I’ve been using this moisturizer during the summer months here in Sweden. Before starting to use Mario Badescu’s products I used to suffer from dry and flaky skin, but as long as I moisturize properly I would now classify it as rather normal. This product works great in the warmer summer months, but I’m having a hard time believing it would keep my skin hydrated enough in the cold to use in the winter. For that purpose I would rather use the Complex Moisturizer With Vitamin E SPF-20 since it’s a lot more moisturizing. Another great thing is that it sinks into my skin in a couple of minutes and even if I’m in a hurry and apply my foundation directly after applying this cream it goes on great. Even though I’m quite breakout prone I haven’t experienced any extra breakouts that can be linked this moisturizer.
The packaging is not anything you would put up on display, but it’s very functional and great to travel with. The SPF, even though I wish it was higher, is also a plus. I would definitely by this again if I find ever the Complex Moisturizer too heavy and want a slightly, but still hydrating, lighter alternative.

I really like this moisturizer because it leaves my skin soft and dewy. I have sensitive, dry skin. This moisturizer does not irritate my skin, nor does it leave it looking greasy. The price tag is a bit steep: $22 for 2 oz. However, I think the moisturizer's quality makes it well worth the money. Also, I love that it has sunscreen in it. Although, I wish it came with SPF 30 or higher.

I got a sample of this along with the Enzyme Cleansing Gel and the Aloe Toner. I don't know why, exactly, but it worked well for me. It was creamy, but not greasy--light a light cream, or a thick lotion. It absorbed well and the sample jar lasted me about 2 weeks, even in winter, so I guess it did its thing. All 3 products together made a noticeable difference in my skin, and I was completely prepared not to be impressed--I tried this line about 10 years ago and it did nothing special for me. I will definitely repurchase or swap for all 3 to see how they hold up over time if I use them regularly.

I travelled around Europe with this moisturizer and MB's Hyaluronic Moisturizer (SPF-15). It's great for normal to dry, sensitive skin and it's not too thick and greasy. Just a little bit goes a long way. It also contains Vitamin E, which is a great antioxidant for the skin. And for $22 you get 2 oz. Not bad!
