As a natural curly headed gal I always have the most hope for products that make claims such as this one. Lately I have been "embracing" my curly hair and been working to find the best products to make it a pretty true curl pattern. I have colored, fine hair - but a lot of it. This was one of the products I tried to get the curl pattern I was hoping for but alas .. it didn't do a thing to help. I have found the AG recoil to be the best creme for the good curl shape. I also use Keratin leave in conditioner and Diva Curl gel. Finally got the mix right. Moroccan oil is good too. This redken product, though, is not worth wasting your money on. Forget it.
I have naturally wavy/curly untreated hair that frizzes constantly. I'd been using Redken Fresh Curls spray for a while to help make my waves into curls. But I wasn't getting much shine and it was increasing my frizz. I bought a trial size of Ringlet and applied it before the Fresh Curls and it did wonders. I don't think it really CREATES curls, but it conditions them beautifully and keeps your hair from feeling stiff and crunchy.
I'm on my 4th bottle of this or so. I don't have naturally curly hair, I have a perm (not the 80s frizzy kind, but the Asian kind where it looks more wavy and natural). I like this because it's not crunchy and will hold a wave all day. If I don't use some sort of curl activating product, my curls/waves tend to straighten out by the end of the day. I've used it for so long I know exactly how much I need to use. The only thing I don't love is the price. $20 is a lot when there are a lot of drugstore products out there that claim to do the same; I just haven't been brave enough to find a good dupe.
Hair type: 3C, dark brown, chin-length, healthy, virgin, naturally on the dry side. Lovely product! Like other reviewers have mentioned, it feels very much like a leave-in conditioner, but it does have the holding properties of a medium-hold gel. Since my hair is dry and coarse, I like to layer it with a treatment (Crema Care, Smooth Down or Fresh Curls), but it works well on its own, too. Smells fresh and it gives me a soft, natural finish. I dread the "wet look", and this fortunately does not do that, eventhough I use tons of it :o).
Though it's a bit pricier than I'd like, Redken 07 is one of the best styling products I have ever used! It makes my wavy/curly hair dry much less frizzily. For some reason it helps eliminate frizz a lot more in the front than in the back, though this seems to be true of every hair product I've ever used... anyways, for the best results smooth over the top of damp hair and scrunch it into the lower parts. One pump is the perfect amount for me, but I have long thick hair so some might want to use less.
I really like this product and have been using it for a while. BUT REDKEN IS TESTED ON ANIMALS! Most products of this price range and stature no longer do animal testing, I am paying for those advances in technology. I refuse to buy this again until L'Oreal and Redken change their research techniques. There are too many other great brands that 1) do not have alcohol as the #2 ingredient in a moisturizing product and 2) do not test on animals.

So ever since John Freida took Funky Chunky off of the market I've been desperately searching for something similar. I have slightly wavy hair but I hate to scrunch it because it always turns into a frizzy nightmare. FC always enhanced my waves without the “crunch” of gels so when my stylist recommended this product I figured I’d try it. THANK GOODNESS! I think I’ve found my HG wave enhancing product. A tip for users who may have found it to make their hair crunchy – try letting it dry and if you have a bit of stiffness “scrunch” the dry hair. This shouldn’t make it frizzy and it will take out the hardness.

i looooooove ringlet! this is my number 1 choice for all of my curly haired clients. it defines the curl without drying hard and crunchy. holds the shape of the curl but stays flexible, shiny, and soft. definitely my top choice.
I have naturally wavy, long blonde hair that I usually let air dry, sometimes I use a diffuser. This stuff works great on it! I think this might be my HG wave product. However, as someone else said, the Ringlet part isn't really true, this makes my waves look GREAT and soft and even, but it doesn't give tight curls. It has never made my hair crunchy and it doesn't weigh it down, which I love because the longer my hair gets the less wavy it seems to be. If you have naturally wavy hair I would definitely recommend this!

Redken Ringlet 07 - Excellent hair product if you have naturally curly hair. I have shoulder length hair with medium size curls. I've used this product 3 ways so far:
1. washed my hair, towel dried, didn't comb, applied 2 pumps of product throughout wet hair. Fell asleep, woke up next morning and curls were a little more defined.
2. washed my hair, towel dried, applied 1 pump throughout all of hair by combing it through, set hair in rollers and allowed to partially air dry and then used hair drier to speed process. I got beautiful bouncy curls with a lot of volume.
3. Had to style my hair for a wedding. Washed my hair, towel dried, applied 2 pumps throughout all hair and combed it through, set hair in rollers and dried with hair drier. I got really defined curls that lasted a long time.
This product looks and feels like conditioner. It also doesn't leave any stickyness on your hair. It just amplifies your current hair texture.
