The Blanc Essentiel line replaces Blanc Purete. This product claims to be suitable for all skin types but it doesnt seem to be moisturizing enough for my combo-to-dry skin. Nice light texture, scent is light/non-intrusive but the packaging is not travel friendly because you can't close/lock the pump. No SPF protection and it just seems so little in a bottle (50ml for RM170/USD45) especially in my case, where I'd have to pump at least 3 times to feel sufficiently moisturized. I've been using this along with the night cream and my skin has gotten fairer (not sure about even toned, though). However, the problem with whitening products as I've noticed, once you start on the regimen your skin is much more prone to darkening than before. So you be diligent with sunscreen, otherwise your efforts are as good as wasted. I find the Blanc Essentiel line way better than Blanc Purete which I've used a year or two back, although to be honest, next time I'll just skip this and stick to the night cream.
