I was so surprised at the negative result I had with this shampoo! For face care, body lotion/wash, I only use Mario Badescu. So I decided to select a sample of this with my recent order. I have some what dry naturally curly hair that isn't colored. This product lathered nicely, but that was about it. My scalp feels severely irritated even hours later, and this shampoo dried my hair out to the point it feels like straw. I've been scrunching conditioner into it every chance I get today. I plan to apply some conditioner this evening and let it sit before washing and conditioning with my usual products. I have never had a shampoo dry my hair out to this extent. From now on I'll stick with Mario for my face and body products, but you couldn't pay me to try another of their haircare products.

I hate to be in the minority here, but I didn't like this. I so wanted to like it because it should be something I could use (I have a lot of sensitivities to shampoo and conditioners)...but I ended up throwing it out. It's definitely a light shampoo, which I want, but it was a little drying, and for some reason it really made me itch. I had a ton of static with it and got quite the headache every time I used it. I've sampled many things in the line and I don't like anything - too fragrant and not really effective. Shame.

I bought this after having some sort of a Mario Badescu craze this spring. Even thou this is a impulse by, I'm not sorry that I bought it. For most of my life I've used the shampoos and conditioners that can be found at the local store and I wouldn't say that this is that much better, but what I do like about it is that it doesn't contain 250 ingredients with names I can't pronounce. I'm not that into this "all natural" phase that's going on, but it feels a lot better actually knowing what's in the products that I use. A little really goes a long way with this shampoo and it smells great, but like I said, to me, it's nothing amazing.

I love Mario Badescu shampoos. I alternate between the this one and the Henna one. I just like both of them.
This shampoo really really cleans your hair. I mean one night I had to use a different shampoo because I forgot to put the new bottle in the shower and there was a huge difference between the other shampoo and this one. My hair felt weighed down when I used the other brand shampoo then the next day I used my Mario and you could instantly Feel the difference. My hair just felt so fresh, clarified.
This is the only shampoo I will use along with the rinsing cream (conditioner). I get compliments on my hair all the time.

I really like this shampoo. I have color-treated hair and it does not strip or dry it out at all. It gives a very nice foamy lather and deep cleans. I would purchase again.

Nice! Pretty, subtle smell. Washes out well and leaves hair a bit "squeaky clean" but non drying. Very good basic shampoo.

i really like this shampoo. Does not have a strong scent which is a plus. Little goes a long way. Leaves my hair feeling clean without having the stripping effect that many other shampoos do. I would recommend to use the hair rinsing conditioner with this shampoo.

I ADORE this shampoo, along with a ton of Mario Badescu's other products. This shampoo has a luxurious lather, very light pleasant scent and is very gentle on my colored/dry hair. I had a couple of samples that have lasted me a good while, but will now purchase the full size. Just love this line!!!

I call this my weekend shampoo. I have really fine hair and so I need a volume enhancing shampoo during the week, but as soon as Friday hits I switch to MB's Leicithin shampoo! It makes my hair super soft, and gets it squeeky clean. It renses clean and doesn't weight my hair down at all. It's just a wonderful little shampoo and the smell is pleasent but now overpowering. I got it as a sample, but I've already ordered the full size from MB online.
